About this house rental
Located in Wells, this attractive house for $428 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Our beautiful home with its prime location and 360' views features 3br and 2 full baths in the heart of Wells' coastal community. Enjoy spectacular ocean views and the distinct sounds of the surf from this open and airy vacation getaway. Sought after Moody Beach is conveniently located just 450 steps from our home. Guests are able to use the beaches within all Public Access locations in Wells. Public Access #3 is 450 steps our home, and #2 is another 450 steps. We are also located a short bike ride to North, Crescent, and Wells public beaches - these beaches offer parking lots, lifeguards, and restrooms. Enjoy both the glorious sunrise and afternoon shade from the large second story deck. 42 Pleasant Circle includes a beautiful 3-season sun room with ocean views as well as the convenience of an outdoor shower. Parking is available for a maximum of 3 vehicles and plenty of shed storage for bikes, chairs, carts and boards. The cottage-style kitchen is equipped with modern appliances and renters have use of an outdoor propane grill. An extra large pot awaits your lobster and clam feeds! Renters must provide all linens - bed sheets, beach/bath/dish towels. The master bedroom has a king sized bed. Each additional bedroom (located on the first floor) contains 2 twin beds (a total of 4 twin beds). The 2nd floor living room contains a full size mattress pull-out. A large capacity washer and dryer is included. The property contains 2 exterior security cameras covering the driveway and front yard. No other cameras anywhere on premises. Landscaping services will be on site once per week and will be as least disruptive as possible. Renters do not have access to the detached garage. Rentals begin and end on Saturdays, 7 night minimum In Season. Check In is 3pm, Check Out is 10am 42 Pleasant Circle is in the heart of southern Maine's coastal vacation paradise. The convenient location makes it a perfect choice to satisfy the interests of everyone in your family.

This was a great spot with beautiful views of the ocean and a short walk to the beach. Everything was as advertised. Plenty of space for 5 adults. The second floor is perfect for reading playing cards doing a puzzle or just napping. I would definitely come again!

It had enough privacy even though the neighbors are all around you. We loved the upstairs views - it’s where we spent most of our time. The walk to the beach is an easy one and we went every day. The house was close enough to the beach so that we could hear the waves crashing onto the shore as we drifted off to sleep. The house has plenty of kitchen ware as we cooked most nights - I would just suggest you bring a bigger lobster pot if you’re going to cook more than 4 lobsters at one time ( they do have one that fits about 4, but we are a lobster loving family and had 6 to cook one night.) The house is very clean with lots of living space so we didn’t feel crowded and we loved the set up that allowed us to leave sandy shoes and towels in the back porch so as not to track too much sand into the house. We had a wonderful time and couldn’t have asked for a better house to stay in!

I had envisioned finding a perfect place to stay, where I could sit outside, sip on a cup of coffee, and and enjoy the gorgeous Maine sky and ocean. "Down the Shore" met all of my expectations, plus more. The light that filled the upstairs living room was the best, not to mention the variety of views of the water and colors of the marsh.
Every morning during my stay I was up early, sitting on the upstairs deck or I would run the 1/3 mile distance down to the nearby beach to watch the sun pop up over the Atlantic horizon. It was so much fun to share this wonderful, owner-loved home with my family, as well.
Thank you Dina and Kevin, for being such great hosts and for always getting back to me immediately when I had a question. I can hardly wait to return!

This well-equipped property was great for our group of 4 adults and 2 children. There were various living spaces to congregate or to separate. The location was great for walking on the beach and for touring the local area. The ocean views were wonderful from the house as well as from the back deck. We had a lovely stay and hope to return.

For the past several years we have been coming to Moody Beach as a multi-generational family. We needed a bigger location for our growing family, but wanted to still be within walking distance to the beach. This home fulfilled our needs and worked out beautifully for us.
With unusually high temperatures, the downstairs’ bedrooms with AC were a major advantage. Also having a washer and dryer on site with three children was appreciated.

We. Had perfect weather and a wonderful stay. We had difficulty finding 42 pleasant Circle because there was no number on the house! We kept going round and round the circle until we pulled out the picture on VRBO and compared it and then tried the lock. It worked! We found a tiny sign hid by bushes that said the street was one way but most of the week we had to go the opposite way because one of ythe neighbors had so many cars parked in front of their house that it was difficult to get by going that way. Then there was the issue with the trash. One other issue was with the cleanliness of the handle bars in the upstairs shower. They were scummy, rusty and gross. On both ends. They need replacing. So does the shower curtain which would not stay on the hooks.
In the kitchen the lower cabinets had a horrible odor. There were many positives of this rental: the location, the upstairs outdoor area deck, the layout and decor of the house, the parking, the comfort of the house, the appliances provided, the upstairs coffee Keurig, etc. A few suggestions at some point: TV for upstairs, high top table for the awesome deck, and if the bushes are yours trim them to enable more of a view from the different ocean views. We very much enjoyed our week here and hope to return some day.

Great Wells vacation home!
This is a perfect place for your Wells vacation. Sweeping views of the ocean form the house and only a short walk to beach. Owners were very responsive and the house is well equipped for at least 6 people. Added bonus were the beach chairs and proximity to Ogunquit.

Such a charming home. Views of the ocean, lots of windows upstairs to see and hear the ocean. The house had everything needed for a wonderful and restful vacation. My daughter and her friend enjoyed the area. It has so much to offer for every age group.

A Cool Change
We had such a great experience. I walked on the beach everyday. The master bedroom is such a special spot. You wake up to the beautiful beach view. Plenty of room for guests and easy access to the beach.

Sensational September Stay in Moody / Wells
First, working with Dina & Kevin the owners was outstanding. Their communication and response time on even the smallest question was terrific! their home is wonderful -- downstairs 2 bedrooms with twin beds and compact bathroom - kitchen with every pot, pan, dish, glass, utensil you need - lovely back porch off of backyard - sitting room with TV and comfy chairs and large gathering table. Upstairs is heaven on earth! Perfect upstairs seating with massive windows to see and enjoy the sea both day and night! another table and pull out couch. The master bedroom with king bed will spoil you forever! Huge closet, wonderful bathroom, and the best deck off of the bedroom to enjoy the lull of the waves and view of the ocean and nighttime stars! Our family of 6 adults loved every day here. Short walk to the beach, great restaurants and take out nearby - easy location to head off on daily adventures too! Sincerely hope to have the chance to return next year!

Perfect Beach Vacation
Thank you Dina & Kevin for an epic summer vacation on the coast of Maine! Your home has everything to make a family beach vacation special - comfy furnishings, ocean views out every window, a huge kitchen with all the tools needed to cook at home, beach toys and a cart to haul it all down the street, an outdoor shower and that master suite (wow... it made us feel like we could escape each night to a secret getaway).

We have been renting in the Moody Beach area for more than 20 years. This was definitely one of our favorites! The house is clean, spacious, and near the beach. The views are spectacular and you can both see and hear the ocean - heaven. The kitchen had everything we could have wanted. The owners were super responsive to messages. Thanks for a peaceful and restful week.

Amazing home with beautiful views
This house feels like home. Exceptionally clean, very welcoming and decorated beautifully. Dina is extremely helpful and responsive. The walk to the Moody beach is very simple, my 80 year old Mom did it with ease. We can't say enough about our experience and how wonderful Dina was. Especially during such stressful times and having to change reservations around covid19 restrictions. The house was perfect for our 3 families to use without feeling crowded. Plenty of boogie boards and beach chairs made our visits to the beach a breeze. The home is located in a perfect position for quick trips to Kennebunkport, Ogunquite and York. Thank you Dina and family for the use of your lovely home. We definitely hope to be back soon!
