About this house rental
Located in Rockport, this attractive house for $450 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. We are looking for families who want a higher quality home at a reasonable cost and are willing to care for the home like their own. Designer quality home with large open areas for relaxing and entertaining. Most rooms have either an Waterfront Canal View, Aransas Bay View, Water View, or Little Bay View. Approximate 2,200 sq ft includes 5 bedrooms/ 4 bathrooms, two separate Entertainment Centers including one with Wii gaming. View Deck on the upper level. Dining indoors will accommodate 6 at dining table at 4 at the Kitchen counter. There are 3 bedrooms, two baths, kitchen, dining and living room on the upper floor with access to the upper covered patio. The lower floor has two bedrooms, two baths, laundry and access to the outside lower deck. There is a covered outside staircase located in the front of the house as well as an outside staircase located on the side of the house. The outdoor living experience is key to the perfect family vacation and we have carefully designed multiple outdoor areas: Including Gas grill; Boat and Fishing Dock, including Fish Cleaning Station; Boat Dock will accomodate 2-3 boats (depending on size); Hummingbird Garden What our guests are saying: What a gorgeous vacation home! We loved every minute - more amenities than we've ever had anywhere: kayaks, bikes, beach chairs and towels, fully stocked kitchen, every need was anticipated. We are seven adults coming together for family time. This home provided plenty of space. A couple of us kayaked in the bay, and we had a lot of catchup time on the porch.

We had a great family vacation in Rockport and loved staying at the home. It was as advertised, large, very well stocked with everything you need and the location was perfect.
When you walk into the home you can tell it is going to be perfect, it is so nicely decorated, clean and there was a bottle of wine waiting for us.
Thank you so much for letting us stay there and we look forward to returning.

We really enjoyed our w’end at the house . Everything was as stated in listing. However, there is a very strong odor of mustiness in the downstairs portion of house which we found unpleasant. The kayaks and paddle boards are a great addition, we enjoyed lots of time in the canal. We were not very impressed with the beach in Rockport in that the water is pond-like and sand extremely hot. However , it is well worth the trip to Port Aransas to enjoy a real beach with waves and a breeze. All in all everyone was happy with our w’end. Thank you !!

I chose this property for the multiple outdoor spaces. It did not disappoint! The large patios (upstairs AND downstairs) were great. Always a breeze blowing upstairs, which helped combat the humidity, for those that are not accustomed to it. The house, yard and patios were super clean. Cyndi was so good to work with; she always responded to me promptly and made sure our stay was a nice one. The only thing I might want to warn others about is that there are no indoor stairs. The upper and lower floors are separate. This wasn’t a problem for us, but might be for others. Thank you, Cyndi, for sharing your lovely home at an affordable rate for large families.

A great home in a fun location. The whole gang loved being on the water. Nice breezes and a fun time fishing off the dock. The nearby pool was enjoyed by all and we loved walking around the local area. Easy check in/out. Highly recommend!!!

First time staying in Key Allegro. Expectations are high with the location and price point of this property. Check in is an easy process. We had four groups with our party. Three groups stayed up stairs while the group with children stayed downstairs with bunk room.
Cons
-The beds are uncomfortable, not just the bunk beds (which are extremely uncomfortable), but all beds.
-The upper deck had a rug that was saturated with water, smelt like soap. Water was leaking from the rug causing a very slippery deck. One child slipped on water and hit face on concrete first step out of sliding door. One group member is pregnant, could’ve been a bad situation.
-The downstairs stunk. Like whatever got flushed upstairs the smell traveled downstairs.
-The floors were dirty throughout house as if mopped with dirty water. Just walking inside barefoot left people with black bottom feet. You could see dust, dirt, bugs, etc underneath all furniture.
-Fridge wasn’t keeping food cool enough, even adjusting temp.

-Washer/Dryer huge plus with children.
Overall we wouldn’t rent again.

Celebrated husbands 70th birthday with kids, grandkids, brother, etc. Many memories made with a wonderful place to stay. Spent so much time outside on the dock fishing and the water toys provided were used and enjoyed by all. We will def be back. Thanks for the memories.

The description of this house was spot on. It was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The house was very comfortable and we had plenty of room for our family of 9. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch and the lower deck. Lots of outside seating! The host was very quick to respond to questions or comments. Would definitely stay here again!

Everyone had a great time. Got out and did some sightseeing, and the ladies got to go to Market days! Did they buy anything? That's a stupid question. Went out to eat and enjoyed each restaurant. Played games and even had a drink or two! We really enjoyed the house and all the amenities. Our grandkids had a blast, and our granddaughter remarked as we were packing up, "I really hate to leave as I had so much fun". I highly recommend this vacation home...you won't be disappointed!!!

We spent the most enjoyable Thanksgiving weekend with family in this home. Everything was as described and Cyndi was great! We appreciated all the helpful instructions and house tips such as remotes, AC and light switches during our stay. Everything was so detailed and well thought out. Not a detail overlooked to make our stay more enjoyable. We had the perfect amount of space for our big family of 14. The kids room with bunks was the perfect addition for all the cousins. The kids loved a unusually warm Nov day playing on the kayaks, paddleboards and paddle boat! The house has everything you could possibly need to cook, serve, and entertain a large group. We give it a 10 out if 10 and can’t wait to return for our next family gathering.

Our generational family (ages 11 months to 87 years) truly loved our stay! We enjoyed the water equipment, community swimming pool, numerous decks, and fishing off the dock. Everything was clean and accommodating for our family. We highly recommend this vacation home! (Note: The elderly guests did have to climb up stairs to the get to the main living area and climb down for outside events and dinner, so make sure everyone is comfortably mobile for stair climbing before renting this particular home.)

Family vacation
Everything was great except for a few issues which I notified owner about. 1) Leak from shower on 2nd floor to bedroom below through light fixture; unable to use that shower for 5 of 7 days! Do you think owners would consider a refund for this inconvenience? Some electric plugs/lights not working.
Omitted to tell Cyndi that the barbecue grill was filthy. We did not use it because our son brought his Trager Smoker.
Other than that we had a wonderful time!

We completed our 2022 Family Spring Break at this lovely property. Our family enjoyed all of the outdoor space. Wonderful 360 upper deck porch and lower deck with an added sun/fishing deck. Plenty of space for 11 adults a d 1 2 year old.

A few things need to be addressed. We had a great time just to be up front. The outdoor grill burner needs to be replaced. The exhaust fan in the upstairs bathroom does not work. The garbage disposal outlet connected to the gfci wouldn’t reset. We had to use an extension cord from the garage to make it work to another outlet. A few more kitchen towels would help, there was only one. It would be a nice addition to put lights on the ceiling fans for additional light in the bedrooms. The wii would not function, small thing but should look into it. Again enjoyed our time a lot.
