About this house rental
Situated in Bay Head, this attractive house for $975 per night is a great choice for your next trip. This spacious, light-filled, serene and uncluttered, cedar-shingled, classic "Bay Header" underwent a gut renovation after Hurricane Sandy. Its timeless beauty still intact, there is excellent communal space as well as privacy. The main floor has an open floor plan with a Dining/Living Room, an eat-in Kitchen, and a half bath. Doors at either end of the house open onto the wrap-around porch. Kitchen slider opens onto a separate porch which has an outdoor shower, a lovely view of the channel and the sunset. The only lawn is what you see in the picture, it is now fenced in. Please read this entire description of the house before pressing the "Contact Host" prompt. Walking distance to everything Bay Head has to offer, this is a great house for a multi generation family; Grandparents, parents, teenagers, babies - there is something for everyone! (we realize our 4-legged friends are part of the family but please know that our No-Pet policy is firm) Upstairs there are five bedrooms (1 King, 1 Queen, 1 Full, and 2 bedrooms with 2 Twin beds each) and three full bathrooms so there's plenty of privacy. Guests must bring their own bedding (sheets, blankets, bedspreads) and towels (bath and beach). We provide bed pillows. The house has no laundry facilities but complimentary "Wash & Fold" laundry service is provided which includes pickup and delivery, often the same day. The house has 2-zone Central AC plus ceiling fans in every bedroom. Utilities, wireless internet and Cable TV are included, as well as 6 beach badges (required for 12 years and older) We have a 7-night minimum from Memorial Day thru Labor Day. Check-IN Friday at 5:00pm, Check-OUT Friday at 12noon. Our home is conveniently located In the heart of downtown, close to everything that Bay Head has to offer. The Bridge Ave beach is a quick two block walk (especially handy with young children, or when the weather suddenly turns) Mueller's Bakery, Dune Grass Cafe, Twilight Lake, the Cheese & Wine Shop, Burke’s Market, restaurants, shops, pickle ball/tennis courts, kids’ playground - they are all right there. And the NJ Transit train station with service to NYC is a just on the other side of the lake, a short walk away. If you think our house might be a good match for your family's vacation please DO NOT "Request to Book" until we have "discussed" the specifics of the house via Vrbo. Wonderful BH home for our entire family (3 generations!). It was pretty amazing to be able to walk out the front door to all of the shops, restaurants, etc. Bill and Allison were very responsive and helpful, and made the stay perfect for what we were looking for. From perfect hosts - responsive, accommodative, patient and understanding - to a SUPER Fun Bay Head location - to a spacious, clean and well appointed house - this is a WONDERFUL place to stay in Bay Head! It's been a birthday retreat for several years now and we are NEVER disappointed by any aspect of our stay here (other than the fact that we have to leave!)

The lovely porch with summer breezes were perfect for relaxing, chatting and cocktails. The location is 2 blocks to a swimmable beach with life guards and walking distance to restaurants, including playa bowls and an ice cream shop across the street. The house was clean and well stocked with cook and bar ware. The outdoor shower is a big plus! Truly all you need for a wonderful vacation. We enjoyed it so much, we plan to return next year.!

This is a great location and accommodates extended family. we love the multiple porches, you can move with the sun and wind. The owners are easy to deal with and accessible.

House was lovely as was the location. House had plenty of room with lots of updates throughout. Weather didn’t cooperate but we still had a fantastic time. Walking distance to all great shops and restaurants as well as the beach. Owners Bill and Allison very great to work with as well!

The house had everything we needed, other than linens - which is pretty standard and, honestly, it’s pretty nice to have your own. The wash and fold service offered was very convenient. Perfect Bay Head Weekend
Where to begin?!?! From the responsiveness and consideration of the owners, to the great location in the heart of town (not too busy in late September) to the cleanliness and comfort of the house, 432 Lake is a wonderful place to stay in Bay Head. So much room to spread out, a GREAT kitchen to hang out while you're preparing meals, a HUGE dining/living area, and SO MUCH room upstairs. We miss it already and can't wait to go back!

We have rented this property several times. Great location and excellent condition inside and out. Right in the center of Bat Head and only 2 blocks from the beach. Highly recommend. We tried the free laundry service this time and all went well.

The house was amazing! I have been going to Bay Head for the past 45 years (since I was a small child) so I am very familiar with the town and the beaches. This house is ideal for several reasons....It has an amazing porch that gets a breeze no matter the time of day or direction of wind, plus since it is so deep and covered, you can also sit and watch a thunderstorm and not get wet! It is perfectly located right in the heart of town and close to the beach. everything is literally across the street. While the corner itself can be a bit busy, the house is amazingly sound-proofed so when you are inside, you have no idea how busy it is outside. And when I say busy, while there is traffic, it is polite and slowing moving, and a lot of pedestrian traffic, it is not route 35! The interior of the house is wonderful, a nice open layout on the downstairs, a great kitchen, dining room for eating or playing games, comfortable and clean sofas for lounging and the overall decor is my favorite, simple, open, clean and beachy. Everything is new and bright.The upstairs is really nice as well, all the bedrooms are comfortable and there are plenty of bathrooms. Again, everything seems new, clean and bright.I highly recommend this property for anyone and everyone, we will be sure to come again!

Best House in Best Town on the Jersey Shore
This is our 5th year renting for a week at this comfortable, thoughtfully furnished and spotlessly clean house in Bay Head. We are 2 families with teen age children and there is space for all of us, including spending time on the house’s wrap porch which is the best in town! Walk to restaurants, boutique shopping, and great coffee and only 2 blocks to the beach. And the owners are wonderful!

Great house in Bayhead
The home is clean and updated. First floor living space was great for family dinners and games. Bedrooms provided plenty of options for our group. Porches are deeply relaxing. Convenient access to the beach as well as biking, tennis, crabbing, fishing, etc. No laundry machine, but the included pick up and drop service worked just as nicely. Allison is a pleasure to work with. Thanks again!

We recently stayed at this awesome rental for a week for our daughters wedding in Bay Head. It was simply perfect—-the location, the amenities, the well appointed house and the ease of booking and communicating with owners Bill and Allison. The house is clean, well stocked with sheets, linens, beach passes and beach chairs. It is comfy, yet practical and well cared for. Whatever your needs are in renting in Bay Head, you will very happy and experience a wonderful week at the beach in renting this house. Simply the best !!!

Fantastic stay in Bay Head
This is our 15th summer in Bay Head and 4th year renting this comfortable, clean and well located house. We are 2 families each with 2 teenagers — the house has plenty of room for all, a well appointed kitchen, 2 blocks to one of the best beaches on the Jersey shore and a great porch to enjoy evening drinks and ocean breezes. Owners are great and very responsive. We are already looking forward to coming back for next year’s beach vacation!

Exceptional House in Great Location
This is an exceptional completely renovated house two blocks from the beach in Bay Head. The location is ideal - in addition to proximity to the beach, the house is right in town and a short walk to the market. There is access to a small canal between Twilight Lake and Bay Head Harbor where we were able to go crabbing. 5BRs and 4 baths allow for plenty of living space. Wrap around porch complete with rocking chairs is a nice place to spend the evenings. Nearly fully equipped with AC, a grill and beach furniture, etc. The owners are very pleasant and helpful. The only issue with this house is there is no washer/dryer. The owners offer a laundry service which we did not use. We had access to another house down the block and ended up using their washer/dryer. A week at the beach with children is a long time to go with no real option in this regard and will likely preclude us from choosing this rental option again, however we still would recommend this house as a very good vacation option.

Wonderful week at beach.
This is our third year staying in this house (2 familes with 4 teenagers in total). The house is comfortable, centrally located in town and has the most wonderful porch for relaxing. The house is well maintained and equipted with everything we needed. Highly recommend this lovely house for carefree days at the beach!!

This beautiful house is very comfortable and right in the middle of the quaint beach scene in Bay Head. The owners are easy to communicate with, return calls promptly and are very responsive to any guest needs.
The beach is easy to walk to. The porch is perfect for relaxing. The main floor is a great space to socialize with friend and family. It has a comfortable living room, dining room and beautiful kitchen. The whole house feels bright and fresh.
I would definitely stay here again.
