Loved the location for walking and bike riding to downtown and Pioneer Park. The cottage is small but had the essentials we needed and the bed was comfortable.

I am a frequent VRBO-er and am super familiar with the Walla Walla area. We were coming to town for a holiday weekend and booked this property months in advance, it's smaller and less expensive than we usually book since it was just 2 of us traveling and we were bringing our pup. We have reached out to the host for a partial refund and he has been unresponsive so I felt it was best to let everyone know that this property IS NOT AS IT SHOWS on VRBO. --The place smells musty with an overlying fragrant deodorizer. The shower doesn't work AT ALL- my husband had to use a butter knife to tighten a screw to turn on the showered and it sprayed all over but down so I was able to wash my hair but my body stayed dry. The kitchen faucet is loose and barely hanging. None of the appliances seem new as posted. The bed is NOT a queen and was sagging in the middle The couch was ancient and not in a cool antique way- I felt uncomfortable sitting on it (when was it cleaned last) The outdoor space is basically in the alley. The siding of the house is 2 different colors. We stayed one night trying to make the best of it and after the shower experience we decided to leave. We reached out to him for a partial refund and he has ghosted us. My mistake for booking a property and didn't notice it was non-refundable- there is definitely a reason for this!

We enjoyed our stay in this cute little cottage. It was spotlessly clean and you can’t beat the location. Walking distance to beautiful Pioneer Park and a just three minute drive to the buzzing downtown area.

Close to campus, had all the necessary components, and the host was communicative and helpful. All good!

Great place to stay for wine trips to Walla Walla. 15-20 min walk to downtown. Whitman college is 2 or 3 min away. Pioneer Park closeby which is great for humans or your fur babies. Our 2nd time here and loved it just as much as the first time.

Exactly as advertised...small, clean, close and convenient

Adeline's Cottage is a charming little place walking distance to town, the college, and Pioneer Park. You feel like you're stepping back in time with the vintage decor. Eldon was a friendly and attentive host, made sure we were comfortable and that the AC was on when the temps got hot. The amenities were basic, but sufficient for our short stay. I will note that the shower is a bit tight! And I'm on the petite side. It would also benefit from an updated showerhead. Overall we enjoyed our stay! Thanks Eldon!

Yes it’s inexpensive for the town so it’s not elegant but it’s a nice space with good light and a good bed. Great location! Close to everything especially pickleball

The house was ideally located (walking distance) to visit mom at Odd Fellows. Just right for the two of us. The bed was very comfortable such that I didn't wake up with a stiff back! Kitchen equipped to make/simple meals. We would stay again. Thanks

Nice place to have a staycation..The bathroom was a bit tight and we couldn't quite figure out the Amazon fire stick. But that was probably more us than anything. But all in all nice place to be.

Eldon was very accommodating. We checked in early and he was in constant communication with us. The house is adorable!

With a child at Whitman college, and vacation rentals being so pricey in Walla Walla, I am very grateful for Eldon’s cottage! It’s not fancy, but it’s two blocks from the campus, warm and cozy, and has a very comfortable bed. Just what I needed!

Easy walk to both Whitman and Pioneer Park. Worked fine for three adults w/ one on air mattress. Would be better for one couple. Eldon is very pleasant and responsive. If you are a picky sleeper, you should know the mattress is very soft. Wasn't a problem for us.

We enjoyed the proximity to the park and downtown. The property was nice. Communication with owner was also great.

We brought our bikes as well and had a great time tootling @ town from our perfect location. Eldon is a kind and friendly host and met us at the house for check-in. We also found out that my sister had gone to school with his son. Overall it was a great stay.

Eldons property was perfect for my wife and I. Clean, cozy and a great location. Eldon was great with communication as well.

Eldon's cottage is quaint and cozy. The little walk to town made it easy to leave our car parked and get to know the neighborhood. Eldon was very responsive each time we sent a message to ask a question or let him know about our arrival. We had a great time and Eldon was a terrific host.

Eldon was very helpful in getting us checked in, especially as we had a late flight and allowed my parents to pick up the keys earlier in the day. The property was perfectly appointed and provided an excellent location whilst visiting elderly parents. The house had a nice updated kitchen and bathroom and a great area out the back with a BBQ. The Air conditioning was excllent, as it was over 100 degrees during our stay. It was nice to see some information on the walls about his wife's famiily and their history in the local area.

The heat pumps in the main room and the bedroom keep it as warm or cool as you please. A big plus is the short walk to Pioneer Park-probably the nicest park in town-which our dog appreciated. The street can be a bit noisy at times, but not a major drawback. We'll definitely stay again for our next family event.

Mr. Otis was wonderfully charming and very helpful. We had a lovely time in town for our celebration of life for my mother and grandmother. We are very thankful for the stay and ease of access to the property and the town at our location. Thank you so very much!!
