We really enjoyed our stay. The upstairs bedrooms are very large. The kitchen is modern. The basement has a huge media room with four luxury couches and a big-screen TV. The house is right on the lake and the shared dock is nearby. We really enjoyed taking walks at night along the peninsula. Be aware that the house is on a small rise and there is a climb up stairs to either the front or the back (which is less steep). Only issue was the cleanliness of the front porch. It had not been cleaned for awhile and the cushions were very dirty (in fact when I moved two of the chairs, beetles scurried out).

We really enjoyed our stay at this house on the Lake. The home had all the amenities we needed and updated appliances. There were lots of little extras such as life vests, snacks, and toiletries which were much appreciated. Communication was good and any questions I had were answered promptly. There is a boat dock just across the street shared by 4 of the homeowners. The neighbors were very nice and we did a boat tour with Todd and stopped at a nice spot where the kids could swim. The only issue was the water has a strong metallic taste so we used bottled water for brushing teeth, making coffee, and cooking. Some visible rusting possibly from high iron content. Overall though we would love to go back for another visit.

My friends and I enjoyed the place immensely! There was plenty of space and we loved having the kitchen and outdoor grill available for cooking dinner.

This property is in an excellent location for lots of summer fun with the water, grilling outside and location to fun activities. Well stocked kitchen and comfy beds were appreciated. Kids loved the lower level for movie and game time!

We arrived at the home and immediately saw that the outside living space and yard were totally overgrown and neglected. It looked as though nobody had been there in quite some time. The hammock frame was completely busted in two and laying on the deck. To me, it looked like possible dry rot, like the decking was starting to show. Two of the patio chairs were broken and all of the cushions and pillows were so filthy that we didn't even want to sit on them. All three decks were a mess. It looked NOTHING like the photos the owner posted. The other decks and furniture off of the two upstairs bedrooms were filthy and thus, we did not use either of them. There was a hamper full of dirty bath towels and only 4 bath towels that were clean for our use for 6 days. There were dirty washcloths hanging over both sinks that were actually stiff. The smoke detectors were removed from the entire first floor with wires dangling. The owner did not rectify this safety issue even after I texted him. He did send maintenance out to replace the hammock and cushions on the one deck the next day. We found one partial roll of toilet paper in one of the bathrooms, but none in the other. The home was not technically supposed to be rented out on the island. We thought it was strange we were to put all of the garbage in the recycling bin because the owner had a "tiff" with the trash collecting company. The basement is so damp we did not use it, which was a shame because if it had not been for the stained carpet and the mildew smell, it would have been nice to watch a movie down there. There is no Keurig machine nor any pans for the oven, not even a pizza pan to bake on. At one time, I think this home was better taken care of. It has potential, but as the neglect continues, that will diminish. The home is also for sale, so there is that as well. I should have listened to the prior reviewer that did not end up staying there, but I hoped the photos were accurate depictions, but they clearly were not. The most disappointed I've ever been at any VRBO's we've stayed at, and not cheap, all things considered.
