Our stay was wonderful from beginning to end. Located in a quiet neighborhood, the apartment was very comfortable and inviting and even included a small Christmas tree and greenery above the fireplace! The sound of the ocean waves soothed us to sleep every night. We were close to restaurants and shopping in the area and only a short walk to access the ocean. We visited our son in Mission Valley which was only a 15 minute drive away. Tim and Kathy were great hosts, from greeting us upon arrival to suggestions for things to do. We will definitely make this a place to stay again.

Tims' place was the perfect rental for us. Close to things but yet quiet. Really good location. Very comfortable overall. He even decorated for the holidays! Will definitely return.

Tim and Kathy’s place was a home away from home! We loved the apartment, a million dollar view and it had just about everything you could need. The town (check out the Wednesday street market) was super fun and awesome vibes! But the friendly hospitality was a A+++! Would definitely recommend! Hope to visit again soon! Thank you!!!

My husband and I stayed at Tim’s VRBO for 5 nights over the Thanksgiving holiday. It was lovely. The private patio off the bedroom with an incredible ocean view was delightful. With a full kitchen, we were able to cook and take full advantage of the evening sunsets. Tim is the kind of VRBO owner that you want to be your host — kind, friendly, helpful. This place is a hidden gem in ocean beach. We’ll definitely be back! A little tip for future guests - there is an amazing Wednesday evening farmer’s market just a few blocks away with more food options than you can imagine. Go hungry and you won’t be disappointed.

This property was perfect for us! Wonderful location within walking distance of so many restaurants and great night life. The property was even better than advertised. So close to the water, with an outstanding view. The pull out bed was better than any pull out we had slept on. No bars, no springs, very comfortable! Excellent property with excellent hosts! Would absolutely stay there again. Thank you!

The sunsets over the ocean from the upstairs balcony are quite spectacular as is the location, only a few blocks from Ocean Beach main street. The apartment has everything you could need and is private and secure. Tim was a lovely host, very friendly and responsive.

A place with great ocean view and location. Owners are very helpful and great in communication. There was a bit of struggle in parking as it is very narrow street and parking space was cramped. Property definitely needs a deep cleaning. Sheets, Sofa, Towels, Kitchen towels, Utensils, rugs were very old and had dirty spots from years of use. Owners should definitely replace all those.

We are very familiar with San Diego and this was a perfect location = close to everything! It was so nice to have a laundry room and off street parking = big help! Tim was excellent to work with. The view from the bedroom deck is spectacular - and easy walking neighborhood. The kitchen could use some new pots / pans, utensils, and towels. Overall a GREAT getaway! Thanks Tim!

The apartment was cozy, and was as advertised—and the view of the Pacific from the upstairs deck was fabulous: Just what we hoped for! Tim and Kathy were wonderful hosts—very responsive and caring. We hope to return, and definitely recommend!

A quiet ocean sound Boho feeling retreat. Watch sunsets over the ocean, walk to a local market, cafe or farmers market. Enjoyed the the distant fireworks from Sea World. Easy walk to the beach and tidepools.

Big thanks to the O'Hara's for their wonderful apartment. Tim was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any questions. Check in and out couldn't have been easier. All of this allowed my wife and I to fully enjoy OB in all of its eclectic glory! We enjoyed the local scene, including great food (breakfast at Old Townhouse was awesome) and every brewery within walking distance (California Wicked Ales for the win). Finished off each evening with unobstructed sunset views from the private balcony. A great getaway overall!

Overall a great property centrally located in Ocean Beach. Close to lots of restaurants and nice walk along the cliffs overlooking the ocean. Only suggestion would be to have a few more things in the kitchen

The room has everything you need! A great view of the ocean, nice kitchen, close to everything, clean, and wonderful owners! We actually got to meet Tim and he is so nice! We loved everything about the room and Ocean Beach! If you’re looking for a room in Ocean Beach, look no further! Thank you Tim for everything! This was our 35th wedding anniversary and we couldn’t have picked a better room or location!

We had a great time staying here. it is really close to Ocean Beach hub, where all the shops and restaurants are. Literally 10 min walk in a very safe neighborhood. Ocean access a block away. Would come back and stay again. Had a great time in the SD area.

Tim's property was very comfortable and clean. We had room to have one of our kids on the sofa bed and the other on a blow up mattress. Tim was so accommodating and was available for anything that we needed. Lovely view from the upstairs bedroom too.

From the minute we arrived to our very last night everything was perfect. Kathy and Tim were so gracious even having us over for wine on our kart night. The house was immaculate and had everything you could need. The parking is tight but we had a small car and had no problem parking.parking is under the house and made is set I easy for loading our bags. The upstairs bedroom was perfect as was the view of the ocean. Would definitely recommend this place for ocean beach vacations. I can’t wait to visit again

We celebrated our 20 year anniversary and my wife loved the cute cottage. It is walking distance to almost everything on main street but very quiet. Melissa was awesome and communicated with us perfectly. We will stay again when back in Fredricksburg!!!

Located within walking distance of downtown Ocean Beach (which has the greatest vibe ever!) and with stunning views of the Pacific Ocean from a private balcony, this property was exactly what we were looking for as an anniversary getaway. Tim and Kathy were thoughtful and attentive hosts - even adding Christmas decor and a Christmas tree to our apartment. We will definitely come back again!

This was a beautiful property with a million-dollar view of the Pacific Ocean. Only a short walk to downtown Ocean Beach and a short drive to all the sights of San Diego. You'll never want to leave!

Tim and Kathy are gracious and knowledgeable hosts with a wealth of local information. The lovely two story suite has a great ocean view from the patio and all amenities including full kitchen and laundry were immaculate. Central OB is a nice quirky neighborhood, walking distance to the beach and nightlife. San Diego attractions are all within 15-30 minutes by car

Host, Tim, is very good at communicating He personally telephoned me to work out a detail. Apartment is very well equipped, a little dated but the view from the terrace off the bedroom more than makes up for that. The sound of the waves crashing at night is also a plus. Ocean Beach is a wonderful place to wander. We didn't have a car and found it easy and cheap to use the bus to explore other parts of San Diego
