Wood provided for fireplace, heat pump with heat propane gas heat, fully equipped kitchen with appliances. Rianni tankless hot water heater. Perfect for a long weekend get-away. Will rent by the month, week or weekend. 2 day minimum stay Note: Sun Room has twelve (12) 24" x 72 double pane windows. It offers a panoramic view of surrounding woods. Expect to see deer walking through almost every day. Also Note: A Bear proof trash receptable has been installed at the entrance to the driveway. For convenience you can drop your trash bags here on your way out.

We had a wonderful time staying here. This property was perfect for our young family of 4 & dog. The location is <10 min drive to beech ski resort. The sauna & hottub were bonus amenities & a nice option after day on the slopes. We also enjoyd the wood burning fireplace to warm up after being out in the weather. Kitchen is well stocked, had everything we needed.

We loved our stay at this cabin retreat. Very clean, inviting and represents the description well. The location was perfect Les than 10 min to Beech mountain skiing, restaurants and only 2o min to Sugar mountain. But really, with everything this little cabin has to offer we could have just stayed in all week.

Donald is an amazing host. There were very detailed instructions for each and every amenity that his little slice of heaven offered. The house is absolutely amazing. The hot tub was perfect. The sauna was outstanding. The wilderness around the property was spectacular. We will be returning very soon for another much needed relaxation weekend. Absolutely can not say enough good things about the property and Donald! Our stay was wonderful! My wife and I chose this cabin for our 10th anniversary get away and it was amazing! Quiet, secluded and serene! We only had one small issue during our stay and Donald was ON TOP OF IT! If my wife and I have the chance to get away again in the future we will be staying here again!

Very pleased with our stay. We had a small issue with the hot water but Mr. Don was quick to respond and attentive to our needs. Will definitely stay again. The location was great as well, right down the road from Beech mountain. Highly recommend!

We hadn’t been to the Beech/Sugar Mtn area since we were teens and upon returning 20 years later with two young kids (4 and 9), I didn’t quite know what to expect. Banner Elk and especially Beech Mtn were just charming, and so family friendly. This cabin is down Beech, and just a 5-10 minute drive up the mountain to anything you need (an adorable grocer named Fred’s Mercantile with all the essentials, restaurants, recreation, parks, and Beech Mtn skiing). We filled 3 days of a quick winter vacation very easily, and knowing the hot tub was waiting for us to finish each day was so nice. The cabin is cozy and had everything we needed; we only went out to eat for lunch. The owner was incredibly thoughtful and checked in on us before a winter storm was forecast to hit. Thankfully, the cottage remained perfectly toasty and with plenty of hot water even with surprise snow and in a 30-degree drop to 0 degrees overnight! We highly recommend this retreat - away from it all in a quiet wooded neighborhood, but also close enough to find plenty to fill your day.

The cabin was exactly the way it was listed. No surprises! The hot tub was great after a long day of hiking. Communications with the owner was easy and quick. Only negative is the road up and down Beech Mountain. Highly recommend this property.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place was clean and was well stocked with linens and kitchenware. Loved the setting and the amount of nature wildlife we were able to see just sitting the sun room or by the fire pit. The overall experience was very relaxing and a great place to disconnect and recharge from the norm. We will definitely keep this place on our list of places to stay in the future.

This is the 3rd time we’ve stayed here and our 4th is booked already. Love this cozy hideaway! I get a sense of peace just pulling in the drive. Summer and fall hiking on the trails followed by a soak in the hot tub and wine on the porch is how we play. Super easy booking and everything we need.

Overall it was a nice place to stay. The cabin was well stocked with all the stuff you might need. It was super clean and the kids had a lot of fun in and around the place. The neighborhood it's in had alot of hiking and the other houses are far enough away to give the feeling that you're secluded.

We really enjoyed Don's quaint cabin and all of its amenities. The owner was so accommodating and considerate of our needs. The location and cabin facilities were ideal for snowboarding. We will definitely be back.

This cabin was so cozy and perfect in every way. My husband and I went with another couple for a weekend get away! The samba and hot tub was great! I personally love sitting by the fire and watching all the deer walk by! The owner is amazing and so kind and understanding. We ran into travel problem where the interstate was shut down for 5 hours by our house when we were leaving to head up to the cabin. This caused us to post pone us leaving till the next morning which caused us to lose a night. When I reach out to explain, his response was “safe travels is what is most important” . That meant a lot that he worked with us on things. We will defiantly be coming back for another get away!!!
