About this condo rental
Located in Kihei, this lovely condo for $195 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Aloha! We are the owners of a gorgeous, newly remodeled penthouse, 1 bd 1 ba (sleeps 3) condo with amazing ocean views inside and out. I to 2 minute walk from beach. It is decorated with a feel of the island throughout. New sound resistant glass balcony doors, windows and ductless split AC makes this a quiet retreat filled with light and extraordinary views. *Covid cleaning procedures implemented in 2020. As beautiful as this condo was when we purchased it, we continue to make yearly updates. In 2107 we updated the split ductless AC in the living and bedroom so it is virtually brand new. In 2018 we added new solar shades. Now the windows are totally open to the amazing view and you can still enjoy the view with the shades down. We also added mirrors to the lanai. These mirrors bring even more of the view into the condo. We added a screen door so you can enjoy the lovely cross breezes we get on the island. In 2021 we added a new memory foam, California King mattress. We also added a few new pieces of furniture. Our unit is supplied with all of the supplies to make your vacation as fun and relaxing as possible. Just unpack and let the vacation begin! The 1st floor of the complex has shops where you can rent bikes, grab a coffee or sandwich, arrange a massage, haircut or pedicure/manicure, pick up some essentials in a small market and plan diving or snorkeling adventures. Maui Dream Dive is a top rated dive shop that can help with any snorkel or dive gear needs. There is also a gym about 7 minutes up the road - convenient drop in rates for travelers. Or just lounge at the on site pool. Easy to learn to surf here! It doesn't get any more convenient. Rent surfboards and paddleboard gear from the surf store across the street. You are across the street from "The Cove" the best beginner surf spot on the island. Watch your friends and family surf from the lanai while enjoying your morning coffee! During whale season, the whales will be easy to spot from this top sixth floor "lookout", binoculars provided! The Island Surf building, in particular, is easy living. A SHORT WALK puts you at the Kihei marketplace and many great restaurants. A GROCERY STORE (Foodland) is an easy stroll. STARBUCKS is another local hangout to enjoy the morning or meet with friends. If you like to watch or participate in roller hockey, tennis games, pickup beach volleyball, basketball, surfing, stand up paddleboarding and be right by the beach we think you have the best location in all of Maui. Kalama Beach Park (across the street) is the place to enjoy these sports or watch the action. We have enjoyed concerts from the lanai. Many local shops are within walking distance for those souvenirs the shoppers love to find. South Maui Gardens-Hidden Food Oasis of Kihei is located directly behind our Complex. Stroll the luscious shaded grounds, enjoy live entertainment, butterfly garden and delicious food. Several eateries and food trucks to enjoy. A few minutes away is Wailea, with upscale dining, shopping, golfing and miles of beautiful beach. Everything about this place was great. Place appears recently updated - very well done. Location within Kihei is accessible to everything you could want. Condo was very clean and well-stocked.
The only small downside is you get a bit of traffic noise from the lanai. But that's a product of the great location.
I'd for sure stay here again.

The condo is right across the street from the beach so there is a view. We enjoyed walking at the beach park each morning because there are huge sea turtles to see. The only negative is there is a lot of street noise so it was hard to enjoy the balcony.

We really enjoyed our stay in this unit. Our family and friends have stayed in this complex in the past and have been very happy with their units. But this unit tops them all, top floor, great views, everything you could possibly need for cooking. So convenient, close to shopping, walking distance to the beach with chairs, umbrella, and coolers, grocery store, and restaurants. A grab and go store downstairs. We will definitely come back. Pam responded promptly to any questions. Couldn’t be happier with our stay. Mahalo

We loved our stay at Doug and Pam's condo. They were very easy to communicate with and the booking was trouble free.My wife and I stayed at this condo for 3 weeks at the end of August. We had an absolutely wonderful time. Location is close to many restaurants and food trucks. The condo itself is spacious, nicely decorated and immaculate with a nicely stocked kitchen so we could cook some of the time. The bed was super comfy with great quality linen.The appliances are all top quality. Having a washer and dryer in the condo was very convenient for us since we were able to freshen up towels after a great day at the beach. AC was great to have and extremely quiet. Being centrally located it was nice to have the soundproof door to shut out the traffic noise. We really enjoyed staying on the top floor. Loved the view from our lanai, absolutely stunning sunsets. Was very pleased with the Weber grills and the newly renovated pool area. I highly recommend this condo to anyone visiting Kihei. Thank you so much to Doug and Pam!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Kihei. The check-in process was seamless, the unit was clean, organized and well stocked with amenities to make our stay like it was our home away from home. It's conveniently located close to restaurants and grocery stores which was a big plus for us. Pam was very accommodating and we were very thankful for her assistance with an extended stay due to our last minute travel changes. We would definitely stay here again! First time using VRBO. It was easy and seamless! Location is prime! Walking distance to shops, eateries and activities. This condo provided literally everything and anything you can think of! Didn't have to go out and buy things like we would've if staying at a hotel! I will never stay in a hotel again!
Pam was so accommodating and responded quickly to any questions or concerns I had. Will never stay anywhere else in Maui but this place!

Wow! There were so many thoughtful touches at this condo that made it literally feel like a home away from home. From boogie boards to chip bag clips to a swimsuit drying bar in the shower, the little details really made our vacation in Maui all the better. The hosts truly thought of everything. In addition, the location in Kihei is absolutely perfect. The beach is right across the street with a gorgeous view, and there are also a multitude of excellent food trucks within walking distance. This Vrbo has set the bar for all other Vrbos for us. We highly recommend this property to anyone considering a stay in Kihei!

This wonderful unit with a view of the park and the ocean is perfect for a couple who are looking for an easy stay. I’ve never stayed in a place so clean, functional and exceptionally well designed. A great mattress, sharp knives, good temperature control, new appliances, single and pot-sized coffee makers, 2 televisions…the list goes on. I’d not hesitate to stay here again. All the comforts of home or a good hotel with none of the inconveniences.

We could’ve not asked for a better place to stay in Kihei. It was affordable very clean extremely well stocked and in an excellent location. It was fun watching people in the park play volleyball in the mornings from the balcony. They provide everything you could need for a pleasant day at the beach from chairs and umbrella to boogie boards and coolers this saved us a lot of money and time. The unit is located in the heart of Kihei. Just a short walk to the Kihei café, skate park, rollerskating area also south Maui Gardens is directly behind this unit with some of the best food trucks on the island I recommend burger boys. We would definitely stay here again.

First-time travelers to Maui and completely satisfied with the condo, its location, and the attentive communication demonstrated by the owners. All instructions for checking-in/out were clearly communicated and accurate.
The condo itself is very well furnished, modern and is in great shape with a fantastic view. It is equipped with all the amenities of home... fully functional kitchen (fridge, range, oven, microwave, dishwasher, drip coffee and K-cup, and all the dishes/pots/pans needed to prepare most any meal), stacked washer/dryer, and more than the essential beach and pool gear at your disposal (includes snorkeling gear!).
Well-stocked grocery store (Foodland Kihei) a mere 5 minutes away by foot. We took the opportunity to prepare our own meals whenever possible (a significant money-saver!). Plenty of options for eating out as well... everything from grab-and-go to full-service, sit-down dining within walking distance.
Also within walking distance, Charles Young beach is a beautiful sandy beach. Kamaole beach lies just a little further. Further South (five to ten-minute drive), Wailea offers a number of equally beautiful beaches in an upscale resort setting.
Easy access to Piilani Hwy and the rest of Maui.

I feel like it’s the best location in Kihei. We had a great view and quick walk to restaurants and grocery store.
The rental unit was quiet and comfortable. Everything was top quality. Pam and Doug were very easy to communicate with. The whole experience was great.

This was a 10/10 experience for us. The perfect location across from the ocean, walking distance to restaurants and shopping and across the street from our fave surfboard rental. The sunset view from the balcony is perfection. This condo has everything you could imagine and the hosts have done an amazing job of ensuring you have everything you need- from the usual beach chairs and towels to extra helpful things like reusable water bottles, ice packs and aloe gel!
We wondered if the location directly facing S Kihei Rd would be loud, but it wasn’t at all. The only disruptive thing is the early wake up calls from the roosters, which is to be expected!
Our teen slept on the sofa bed and said it was quite comfortable. Mattress and pillows in the bedroom were also quite good.
Check-in and communication with hosts was superb. We are already considering a return visit. This property is so very deserving of its 5-star rating.

This place is close to most of Kihei and a lot of restaurants and shopping. The Park across the street is great for sunsets and walking. If you play tennis or basketball, there is court for it and volleyball courts also. If you have kids, then a covered play area in the park also. Across the street next to the park is a cove so you can learn to surf or stand-up paddle board. This is an ideal vacation spot for the young or old. Hope to return in the future. You can't miss with this place.

The condo is well equipped and has recently been renovated with modern updates while still maintaining the island vibe you expect in Hawaii.

This is a superb spot to enjoy island life.

24hour grocery store, bike rentals, restaurants, food trucks, volleyball court, open air shopping, beach barbecues, shaved ice, even a couple local watering holes for a night cap or a massage spa to end a long day in the sun if you prefer..

We really enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately, the washer/dryer and AC burnt out. However, Pam and Doug did an awesome job making sure we got a temporary AC unit and refunded a portion for us. I can 100% say that the place is an absolute gem and I love spending my time on the balcony to watch the sunsets and sunrises. Also, the little books they keep on the table are really helpful. I read one of them all the way through and it was so informational about the history of hawaii which was really enjoyable. The condo was clean, the staff that I did meet were so sweet and easy to talk to. We loooooved the kitchen and now I've got a new dream kitchen to work towards. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the snorkle stuff were so fun to use on the beach. The condo is beyond quiet. Something I think you will never find in a hotel. I loved my stay here and would definitely stay again!

1. So much better to be in Kehei over Lahaina area.
2. Fantastic upgrades that a made a big difference in comfort.

4. Best stocked kitchen ever. All condiments, spices, storage items. All kitchen items you would ever need.
5. Pretty busy street out front but new sliding doors worked great at lessening noise. And ocean side park was a nice window into local life. Plus....Sunsets amazing.

Pam and Doug did a great job of presentation of their beautiful unit and all of the extras (snorkel gear, beach chair, cooler) that really helped make our time on Maui quite eventful! The unit is extremely clean and has an outstanding kitchen that I wish we had time to make use of (next time😊). And the view from the balcony is incredible!

Perfect romantic morning to evening and through the night
Perfect quiet location. Skip the big resorts, stop here. My wife loved the sunsets from the condo and the beach. Sunrise from the bedroom window she looked forward to each day. Must try the smoked marlin macaroni salad from South Maui Fish Company. Communication to the owners was awesome and amazing. Such great people.!!! Helpful in so many ways to create a special honeymoon for my wife and Myself. Love it love it love it !!!!

All I can say is this place has it all! The perfect location, home-like feeling, low key & relaxing. This was our first time in Maui & we both can say we both would come back to stay at Pam & Doug’s condo again. On top of it all, they make it super affordable. We will definitely stay here again anytime we visit. The two biggest reasons are the location and how well stocked the place is. It was located across from the beach. We chose to walk one minute to waveriders and take a lesson and had a great time. Also went to the convenience store below us a couple of times and then walked to the south shore tiki lounge for pizza and drinks multiple times. But lots of food options within 5 minute walk. The town of Paia is a short drive as well and worth it. The apartment itself felt very safe and was clean and pretty inside. The owners have almost everything you need so don't buy anything until you've checked it out. Beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, snorkel masks and flippers. We were also impressed with all the kitchen appliances and the bathroom was well stocked. The bedroom stays very cool with the ac unit so don't worry about being hot. Trust me you won't regret choosing this place.

We had the best time at Pam and Doug’s place! It was absolutely beautiful and in a perfect location. We didn’t even need to rent a car until we did the road to Hana because there were so many shops, restaurants, and beaches nearby. I will definitely be coming back!
