Our Beautiful and very Comfortable Villa is located in the very prestigious South Dalton Ranch in Durango, Colorado. Our Villa is a very Clean and Functional home on the 3rd Fairway of the Dalton Ranch Golf Course. It has many amenities including a very nice 8 person Hot Tub in a private setting overlooking the Golf Course. An Outdoor Barbecue on the deck makes it ideal for Family or Social gatherings and entertainment. Wifi is in the house as well. Cable TV with all of the major sports and news channels is available! Wonderful house in Awesome location!! EXTRA TOWELS, SUPPLIES AND SHEETS ARE LOCATED IN THE MASTER BEDROOM UNDER THE PILLOWS AND CABINET DOORS AGAINST THE EAST WINDOWS. Please see my reviews and information on 2 other homes that I own in the area. #1557495 and #1647501. Have a ton of fun while you visit Beautiful Durango:) The Links Bedroom is the Master Bedroom and is located on the main floor. It has a Very Comfortable California King Bed as well as plenty of Closet space and drawers! The Links Bathroom has a very nice Bathtub with separate Steam shower and double vanities and private enclosed commode! There is plenty of closet space in the Master Bathroom as well. The Dalton Bedroom has a Queen bed with a 1/2 bath next door and is located on the main floor. The Dalton Bedroom has it's own private entrance from the outdoors. There is a very nice Antique Armoire to store your clothes! A ceiling fan is a nice amenity in the Dalton Bedroom:) The Trimble Bedroom has a queen bed and Futon with plenty of closet space. A chest of drawers is located in the Trimble Bedroom as well as a bedside lamp! The Cascade Bedroom has a double bed and a single day bed ideal for 3 children or 2 single adults. The Trimble and Cascade Bedrooms share a full bath with shower and tub and are located upstairs! Our home comes with a Modern Kitchen that boasts a double oven + built in microwave ideal for cooking those family holiday meals. A very nice and big formal dining room table that sits 12 as well as a breakfast bar in the kitchen that sits 2. The Kitchen contains a Dishwasher, trash compactor and Stove Top Gas Range! Plenty of cabinet space and don't worry about bumping into each other in the kitchen as it is a very nice size:) There is a 2 Car Garage with one garage door opener that opens either door. This garage will keep the vehicles nice and dry and out of the driveway and out of the snow in the wintertime:) There is plenty of room for 2 more vehicles on the apron outside of the 2 car garage. The Patio is well located on the 3rd Fairway of the Dalton Ranch Golf Course. Our Villa is very private in its location located at the end of a cul de sac. Fantastic home for entertaining!! There is a Washer/Dryer in it's own separate laundry room near the garage entrance. The iron is in the Washer/Dryer room. You can walk to the Golf Course, PJ's Gourmet Grocery Store and the Dalton Ranch Restaurant. Trimble Hot Springs is a 2 minute drive from the Villa:) With all of the amenities in the home and nearby you will truly love your vacation at our Durango CO Golf & Ski Villa. Purgatory Ski Area aka Durango Mountain Resort is a short 25 minute drive from the Villa. Durango Parks and Recreation Center is 4 1/2 miles and offers an Olympic Swimming Pool, Major Water Slide and workout facilities! Fort Lewis College is only 15 minutes away from the Villa.. Ron's home was perfect for our large family, plenty of room for everyone to spread out. 3 couches in living room, large dining room table fit us all. Location was the best, right across from the Hot Springs, in-between town and ski basin. Hot tub was a nice bonus! Only small comments, No complaints, some pans in kitchen needed to be just thrown out and we ran out of forks at every meal. Would definitely stay again.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. There were a few things that needed attention.
Not enough towels for everyone. Everything was heavily used and wore out. Coaches, pots, pans, etc. TV’s need to be upgraded, they were small and older.

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was as listed with all the amenities needed to make everything easy. The location is about half way between Durango and Purgatory right on the golf course. The neighborhood was very quiet w/ hardly any traffic. The kids enjoyed sledding down the hills on the golf course. Gas fireplace and hot tub were awesome. We had a fantastic time.

We couldn't find extra towels at first, but after rereading the instructions left, we found them and there were plenty. The location was ideal. We were there for a funeral for our uncle, and he had lived right next door, and our cousins both lived in the neighborhood. Our only complaint was that it could have been cleaner.

This home's location is absolutely wonderful....quiet, gorgeous neighborhood and very private even though it's on a golf course... the home is spacious and had plenty of room for our large group of family that stayed there! The BBQ grill and hot tub were a nice added bonus. The only drawback is that the home is not well maintained at all. MANY things were not working or were taped together....leaky faucets, baseboards and doorways needed painting, carpet and door handles and screens were in disrepair, the home was not stocked well at all... every cabinet had random things and broken pieces of things in them.... almost like no one maintains this home. It was not "dirty", in fact it was clean! Just in sad shape. The beds were VERY tough to sleep in.... the master bedroom bed was the only comfortable one. No one else slept well in any of the other beds.... So overall, we had mixed feelings about this home.

House is in gorgeous neighborhood on a golf course with a very nice backyard space. Hot tub was clean and perfect temp (rarity in rentals).
It was nice having garage door openers to get in and out.
Evaporative cooler worked very well (had never used one). You do have to refill it, but very easy to do.
Beds were comfy.
Kitchen was spacious and well-equipped.
We didnt use the tvs or any of the stereo stuff, but wifi worked well.
Host was accessible and accommodating.

We have vacationed in a number of VRBOs over the past few years and have always been impressed with the cleanliness, that is until our recent rental in Durango. What was a great location turned out to be the filthiest property we have ever rented. Huge disappointment…. Not sure what they meant by updated kitchen, maybe because it had a dishwasher, but all other appliances had to date back to pre-2000. Make sure you wear shoes or your feet or you will stick to the floors and be BLACK, except for the upstairs bathtub where you may fall on your tush because the bathtub floor was slick and slimy. Furniture was reminiscent of my grandmother's house, the area rugs were frayed, the pillows had no structure and the bedding was minimal. Old, old, old stuff. Make sure you wash your clothes when you get home !!!
PS. Be sure to bring your own toilet paper, you only get enough for two days.

The house was beautiful. It wasn’t very clean .We found trash in a couple of the beds,there was mouse poop in the kitchen cabinets,The back door handle fell off as soon as we tried to open it.So did the oven door handle.There was huge spider webs in different rooms.I think it’s an awesome place but could use a little maintenance and a new house cleaning service.Also couldn’t get some of the remotes to work.We would have fixed the back door but couldn’t find the screw.Overall a nice house in a nice location.

My friends and I rented this property for a ski trip to purgatory, and it was fantastic. The location was really close to the resort and town, the property was very comfortable and well stocked, and the heated floors really made the experience exceptional. Thanks Ron!

If you’re looking for a clean house to relax with your family this is NOT the place. Spider webs and dead bugs in all of the windows, entry and inside by the back door. Trash left in trash can from previous person, dirty sponges left to clean with. Only 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, had to go into town at 8:30pm to by our own!! Mold in master bath and broken tiles, outdated and dirty bathroom upstairs, hair left from previous visitors. When I brought these issues up with the owner he didn’t acknowledge any of these problems, just threats to show pictures of the mess we supposedly left, which we didn’t. We swept the kitchen/living area, folded blankets, put everything in its place, washed dishes, wiped counters. No direction online as to what to do with linens, which were also old. Old dirty stained pillows, had to put on our own pillow cases. Garage door didn’t work. Keys for the front door were left on the floor by the front door, which also had leaves and spider webs everywhere. Old smell and stained carpet upstairs. Left with old dirty sponges to clean dishes. Back door was practically broken and could hardly shut. Bottom bathroom didn’t lock. Nail sticking up on wooden bed upstairs that kept snagging us, had to nail down ourselves. Absolutely no care to detail on cleanliness and concern of visitors. When I tired to have a private conversation to address these issues he made threats to post pictures of how we left the house a mess, which we did not. We’ve used VRBO for years and have never had an experience like this. Very disappointing, will definitely not be back and do not recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Durango and our stay in the villa. The property had accurate description, well equipped kitchen, great grill, and really appreciated the garage for car and bikes. The owner was very responsive to our needs and quick response. Great restaurants, rode the Durango to Silverton train with friends and always a great experience!
The hot tub feels good after a long ride and used almost daily. Area is very quiet. I would stay at this property again.

Great golf location
Home sits just off the 3rd tee at Dalton Ranch which is a beautiful course and community. We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed the area immensely. The home has a some maintenance and cleaning items that needed attention, many noted in other reviews so no need to re-state here. Thank you to Ron and his family for letting us stay in this home.

Beautiful location needs a deep clean
Property owner is fantastic to deal with and the neighborhood is absolutely beautiful. However, the property was not properly cleaned. We found dead spiders and cobwebs all over the place. I have owned a mountain home and know this can be an issue, however, it was supposed to be thoroughly cleaned and it was not.
The furniture is outdated as well, and the hot tub was way too dirty to deal with.
