Situated in Petoskey, this charming cottage for $275 per night is a great option for your next break. Awesome Location! Charming Victorian style air-conditioned home only one block from the Petoskey pier and beach, marina, Bear River Recreation Area, Gaslight District, and Petoskey Wheelway (bike path), stretching from Petoskey to Charlevoix to the west, and Petoskey to Harbor Springs and Alanson to the northeast. Everything is at your fingertips. The sunsets are incredible; the days are refreshing; the skies are brilliant. Stay for a week and enjoy all the beauty that only northern Michigan can offer! The cottage consists of two units; this Unit A and also a separate back Unit B which has one bedroom and sleeps two. It also has a separate entrance. {HomeAway 4808912}. The cottage has been inspected and licensed as a vacation rental with the City of Petoskey.

This house was a perfect location for us -- near the lake, near downtown, near good walking paths. The house has been thoughtfully furnished with everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the owner has added some special touches. We enjoyed looking at the artwork throughout the house. Would love to go back!

This property is perfection: clean, well-appointed, charming, and a short walk to the gaslight district. It’s wonderful. The patio is perfect for coffee in the morning, and the house is spacious, clean, and comfortable. This is our second time enjoying this property, and we plan to return!

An historic cottage with Great Lakes decor, this property is lovely. It was clean and well-stocked with necessities and some extras like goat milk bars of soap. We slept great on the comfy beds. The air conditioning worked great when needed. Wifi was reliable and fast. A great location for walking to dinner, shops, and the bayfront. Would recommend!

We had a delightful stay in Petoskey at Nancy's two-story rental. One off-street parking spot, plenty of room on street for other cars. Spacious living areas for the 4 of us, with lots of seating and local brochures on things to do. Kitchen well supplied, nice island with lots of drawers, even enough large utensils like spatulas, serving spoons, and grill tools for the gas grill. Kitchen had a good coffeemaker. Thoughtful extras like very plush towels, also soaps and shampoos in the the 2 bathrooms. Nicely decorated. There is a nice-sized entryway inside the front door for leaving beach stuff, coolers, shoes, etc. Bedrooms were very good, closets with hangers, fans available if wanted. House A/C worked very well. Main bath was large with an old-style footed tub and a separate shower plus a secret room. Downstairs bath almost as large.
We loved the location - 1 block walk to the bike trail, 2 blocks to the shore to see the sunset off the rock wall, 3 short blocks to a great downtown, and an easy drive to many places, from Charlevoix to Mackinac. We canoed the local Bear River one day, drove the 45 min to Mackinaw City for the ferry ride to Mackinac Island another day. Great beach nearby at Petoskey State park. Don't miss Harbor Springs, the Tunnel of Trees or Legs Inn.
This was a memorable vacation for us, and probably spoiled our future stays at other places. Nancy even left us a small gift of some locally sold items.

Cute 2 bedroom Victorian in quite area, but one block from downtown. The beach is 1/2 a block away and several great parks near by to explore.

The house is wonderful, clean and located in an excellent location for walking or biking as far as your heart desires. Walking distance to downtown shops & restaurants, to the pier & marina and bike trails as far as you have stamina to go. We met the hosts who are very nice even though we did not need to contact them for anything. This will be our go-to place to stay any time we go to Petosky.

This adorable Victorian is perfectly located. Easy walk downtown, great access to parks, bike path, and nature trails. Very clean and well furnished. Comfortable beds too! Would definitely stay again.

Petoskey is fabulous and this place in this neighborhood is absolutely like being at home.

The house is gorgeous and located within walking distance of shopping and restaurants. Nancy has thought of everything you would need to be comfortable! My daughter and I love staying there, and this was a return visit for us. I let Nancy know that we would be getting in late, and she left the light on for us! It felt very welcoming for two women who were getting in after dark. We hope to be able to return next year!

This was our second stay at this house... first time was on the back half of house that has 1 bedroom and this time in the front half with 2 bedrooms. We liked it so much last year, we came back this year with another couple. The house is very clean and well maintained with lots of charming character! The location is great, close to lots of things to do and downtown restaurants and shopping. Interaction with owner is always excellent, replies to booking and questions very quickly.

The 4 of us stayed at this home for a long weekend getaway. It was everything as described and more! Clean, comfortable and cozy - wonderful location, and close to everything Petoskey has to offer! The owner was easy to communicate with - always a bonus when renting thru VRBO! We hope this rental is available next time we visit the area!

The place was perfect. It was immaculate and well appointed. I’m not sure how the location could be any better. Close to the fire station and City Hall and lots of places to walk for breakfast.
The host was super responsive, especially when I accidentally locked myself out.
Again, I’m not sure I’ve stayed in a VRBO that was as clean as this one.

This house makes you feel at home from the moment you enter. There are lots of little extras that are nice and welcoming. A short walk gets you to the harbor and marina. Also, located a couple blocks from downtown Petoskey. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer vacation. Highly recommend staying here.

Enjoyed staying in this cute, well-equipped Victorian house; our home base for a week while exploring God’s country! The comfy beds and cotton sheets felt so good at night after long days of sightseeing and wonderful dining. Highly recommend this VRBO.

We had a great stay at Nancy’s property. You are so close to the water (1 block) and to downtown. Nancy was helpful and responsive when we had questions and the house was very comfortable! We appreciated the little things too, like have beach towels available for use, k-cups available for coffee etc.

Lots of attention to detail to make us feel at home in this lovely old renovated home. Great location. We walked to the historic district for dinners. One block from bike trail. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Our long weekend stay was absolutely wonderful! Communication and the check-in/check-out process was great. The house is beautiful, well maintained, clean, and in the heart of Petoskey (close to the lake and downtown). Welcome notes, instructions around the house, and tourist guides were well organized (and much appreciated)! If you are thinking of some time in the Petoskey area...this is the place to stay -- great house/location and gracious host! We are looking to be back in the future.
