About this condo rental
Situated in Purgatory, this charming condo for $208 per night is a great option for your next trip. **Book Today for Only $300 Down at the Time of Booking *** Our 1 bedroom, 1.5 bath single-level condo at East Rim (Unit C-11) was just completely remodeled and is located right across from Purgatory Lodge and offers the ultimate convenience in all seasons. The condo features amazing views of the Needles Range and Spud Mountain. East Rim is centrally located to the main skier plaza and is just a short walk to the fastest and biggest high speed lift on the mountain, Purgatory Express. This property is unique because it is just a step away from the hustle and bustle, restaurants, shops and skiing amenities of the primary base village at Purgatory Resort, but it offers a more private and quiet existence with views that cannot be beat. Bed Configuration: Bedroom 1 - King with TV and Ensuite Bath(main floor) Main Living Space - Double Sleeper Couch (See photo) There is a full bathroom as well as a washer and dryer (laundry detergent provided) and a BBQ gas grill on the deck. This home is pet friendly! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs max and the pet fee is $40/day (for a max $250 per stay). Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years). The 4% resort fee included in the quote is the required resort fee that must be charged and does not allow access to the Durango Mountain Club. For an additional (and optional) 4% resort fee, you will have access to the Durango Mountain Club includes an outdoor heated pool with slide, outdoor hot tub and workout facility. Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities. Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any such changes will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance. We enjoyed our stay here, but the living room arrangement was cramped with too much furniture that was too large for the space. We had to walk around sideways to be seated. The coffee pot didn’t brew even after I tried to clean out the scale. Otherwise, the kitchen was nice and equipped well. I purchased a 5 cup Mister Coffee in Durango that suited us well, and brought it with us to our next rented condo in case we encountered the same situation. We enjoyed the porch with a nice view of the San Juan Mountains. We rated it 3.5-4.0 Star overall

Everything was as expected and we received plenty of information before and during our stay to feel well informed about the check-in and check-out.
In summer, the location is almost deserted. Which is great if you want quiet, not so great if you crave a spontaneous pizza at night.

The location can’t be beat, and the condo was cozy, comfortable, and well stocked. Amazing view of Needles off the deck. We ate great casual dinners at local restaurants (The Lift, The Nugget) and grabbed breakfast and coffee in the Purgatory village deli before full days on the mountain. Great conditions, fun mountain, no crowds! Quick drive to Durango hot springs after skiing was perfect end to big day.
Would definitely recommend this unit and would definitely stay there again.

We love this trip, but unfortunately we will be moving from C11 fir future stays. (1) 4th year in a row, no wifi for a week. Management company likes to blame it on the mtn, but it is the UNIT. All other units in this building has no problems with wifi. (2) Noise from being on bottom unit. It is VERY loud in this unit, you can hear people above you way too much, its bad, like elephants every year above you.

-Bottom Floor Unit, upstairs unit was occupied during our visit. At the end of our visit the 6 to 7 people staying upstairs were super loud. We could hear their music, their voices and oh the stomping.....
-The dishwasher didn't work well, we just washed out own dishes
-There was not enough hot water for each of us to take a reasonable shower
-It takes awhile to get hot water in the shower
Overall we were happy with our condo, it was clean and comfortable however we will not be staying at a lower level condo again.

Can’t beat the location, 3 minute walk to the base of the resort. Parking on site. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was very nice.

Overall great stay. Clean property and nicely updated. Great to have two bathrooms. I would probably update the linens that are a little tired and kitchen could use a few more plates and silverware. Location was perfect, just short walk to slopes and Purgatory Lodge. Property managers were very communicative.

The property at Purgatory Ski Resort meet all expectations. The location is centrally located to the Resort Lodge within 30 yards to all stores, restaurants, and lifts. The space is on the lower level which is convenient, but neighbors above can be distracting when walking heavily in the property above. Very clean. The view from the window/patio in the mornings are spectacular. We will definitely return to the resort again.

The unit was clean and well maintained. We wanted a one story unit with minimal stairs to get to, and this one was ground level with just a few concrete steps down into the building courtyard for access. Right across from the main lodge -- we were even able to see the MTB short track race from the patio! Communication with management before our trip was A+! Main bedroom has a memory foam topper on the mattress, living room has a euro lounger that turns into a very comfortable bed. Kitchen was well equipped and we were able to bring food with us and cook all meals in the unit.

The Condo did not disappoint. It was clean and had everything we needed and then some. Kitchen was fully stocked, 1 and 1/2 bathrooms, shower was awesome in main bathroom! The deck faces Twilight Lake more like a pond though, but the scenery was BEAUTIFUL! We would definitely consider going back, thank you for making clean and inviting!!!

We worked with Dish and the Purgatory repair people and got a new box. That was on by day 4, we didn't appreciate ordering a new Dish box on vacation. No discount given. Then there are the minor repairs, window in bedroom, hole in sheet rock in large bathroom, and some other wear in bathroom. Lastly, the "pull out" couch is a futon. It doesn't fit 2 kids, unless they are younger.

Perfect, third spring break in Purgatory in a row staying in this same unit. First time was the week Colorado closed down all ski resorts due to covid, but we still stayed all week and sledded anyways, loved it and keep coming back. You can NOT beat this location for skiing and overall family experience. Only negative is 3 years straight of bad Wifi if you need to get any work done, or stream TV or kids devices. Wifi in Unit needs to be updated for sure.
