Newly updated, charming Victorian home in prime location in Northwest Alphabetic Nob Hill, located on a quiet dead-end street in the popular alphabet district, just blocks from NW 23rd Ave. Free, convenient parking spot in the driveway in front of the house! Parking passes available for extra cars! Perfect for large families and groups! Close to it all, within walking distance to cafes, restaurants, shopping, hiking, etc. Located in Nob Hill, Alphabet District, Walk score 97 No Parties allowed. There is a studio apt. underneath with their own entrance around the side. This newly updated home features 3 bedrooms (plus 4th sleeping area in living room), 2 full bathrooms, living room, formal dining room, oversized gourmet kitchen, and private back patio off kitchen. Plenty of space to sleep up to 8 people and is perfect for entertaining and hosting groups/family gatherings. Includes parking spot! The main floor has two bedrooms, full bathroom, gourmet fully equipped kitchen, formal dining room, and spacious living room with original pocket doors and sleeper sofa to create a "fourth" private sleeping area. Original hardwood floors throughout the entire house! The oversize, newly updated kitchen features high end appliances, large granite island and French doors that lead onto a spacious, private deck with outdoor furniture. The house was recently remodeled to include an updated kitchen and bathrooms along with a new furnace and plumbing, so you'll get all the comforts of the new and charm of the old! Window AC units provide in warmer months. The upstairs includes a spacious primary bedroom suite with king bed, full bathroom with claw foot tub plus tile shower, living area with couch, large closet, washer/dryer, flat screen TV, ceiling fan and French doors that lead onto its own private balcony. Private parking spot included! There is a driveway for parking (we can provide parking passes if you have more than one car) but a car is not necessarily needed in this urban neighborhood! There is also a studio apartment below plus condo units next door if you need more units! This house is located in a prime, highly desirable location close to it all! It's just a few blocks from NW 23rd Avenue (near Thurman) featuring retail boutiques, home design shops both local and well-known, restaurants, bakeries, breweries, coffee shops, antiques, galleries, parks and hiking trails (just blocks from Forest Park). It is very close to the street car for quick access to the Pearl District (also within walking distance), Willamette River and Downtown. The house is located on a quiet dead-end street with lots of street parking plus a path at end of street for direct access to Thurman where the coffee shops, eateries and boutiques begin. Two friends and I decided to meet in Portland for a girl weekend and could not have been happier with our stay. The house is in a FANTASTIC location. Really good food, shopping and other attractions are all within a short walking distance. House was clean and really cute! So much charm and the neighborhood felt very safe. Absolutely recommend!

Hard to find a better location or house for a family gathering weekend. Quiet street. Two year-old could ride her scooter. Delightful walks every day to bakery, shopping and park. Incredibly well stocked home for lots of family cooking. Wonderful vibe. Can’t say enough good things!!!!

We had a group of all adults and had more than enough room to not only sleep, but there it was perfect for us to come together and all have our own space at the same time. The neighborhood is great! So much to see and enjoy, but all walkable! Short drive to downtown Portland. Will definitely come back and stay here again.

We truly enjoyed our time in Portland! In part to our stay at this charming home. It had a lot of character while offering all the amenities needed. Having parking was a wonderful perk!! The location is perfect for morning walks to get coffee or dinner at night. There are some great hikes only a mile away. A wonderful place to stay.

The only negative I have is that there is construction across the street that cuts down on the parking and unloading/loading. Other than that the place was great. Awesome location. Becky was very responsive and got us enough parking passes for each day. I’d definitely stay again 😃

We would recommend this house for anyone coming to stay in Portland for several days. We had all items needed for a vacation stay and the kitchen was well stocked. Highly recommended.

My family and I stayed here while visiting another family in town. We loved how much space we had compared to a hotel and the ability to cook for ourselves. One thing to note is that the primary bedroom upstairs does not have a door so it did lack privacy in that way. NBD for us, though! The best part was that we didn’t have to do much at all for checkout. We had very early flights so being able to walk out stress free was incredible. Thanks so much for a great stay!

The house is undeniably old, and the little window A/C units were not ideal for us in terms of a comfortable night’s sleep in late summer, but we enjoyed the old Victorian character. The place could be cleaned more thoroughly. There is a huge building being constructed directly across the street right now, so there was a lot of noise, but it was bearable. There is also a lot of light from neighboring buildings at night and from the sun in the morning, so bring a mask if you’re sensitive to that sort of thing.
The owner was very responsive and helpful.
It was a great location from which to visit the Japanese and Rose Gardens as well as hike the trails nearby. And, it is within walking distance to various restaurants.

Traveling with a family of 5, this house gave us plenty of space to spread out. Bedrooms are separated nicely for privacy, and the fold-out sofa made a workable 4th bedroom for a kid. The house is old, but the many modern updates and conveniences make it very comfortable. By far the best feature, though, was the location... We never wound up cooking in the large, well-equipped kitchen because of all the dining options within a few blocks. The food trucks on 23rd Pl. in particular were so convenient, we kept going back.

We had a nice trip to Portland and this house was convenient to good restaurants and the forest trail! It was a heatwave when we were there and the property managers had window air conditioning units and extra fans for us which saved us! It’s a great house and we really enjoyed our stay!

Victorian home in good location
Loved the location, it was very convenient to walk to nearby restaurants and shops and located in a nice neighborhood. Good choice if you are looking for a Victorian or older home. If you want something more modern this isn't the place for you. Floors were pretty squeaky and we happened to stay during a hot time and the floor AC unit couldn't quite keep up (although that's not a frequent occurence in Portland).

Great Victorian house, fabulous location in NW Portland, close to NW 23rd with great coffee houses, restaurants, shops, public transportation and freeways. Quiet street even with construction project. Owner provided parking permits for extra car. Very comfortable, lovely kitchen with the basics. Nice deck and upstairs patio, great for enjoying morning coffee Large upstairs BR very comfortable, note that BRs on main floor are small without closets but have armoires but still tight spaces. Was perfect place for our family as we had to drive to Forest Grove for graduation ceremonies.

A lovely home in the perfect location!
I stayed in this property with four friends for and eating and drinking vacation. It’s a lovely home with very comfortable beds. The location is perfect… There is a really cute coffee house in the next block and lots of great restaurants and shops that are also close by. One thing to note that we were not aware of is that there is a tenant that lives in the house in the basement… Underneath the kitchen and back deck area. There is a note saying to keep noise down went in that area for the sake of neighbours however, neighbours are a little different than somebody living underneath the kitchen and I guess we were being a little loud our first night in our excitement of being there and had a noise complaint. It was quickly resolved and it did not affect our stay but some people might want to actually know this ahead of renting this property. Communication with the manager was quick and easy and I would happily stay here again.
