About this cabin rental
Nestled in Shell Lake, this attractive cabin for $413 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Summer Rates range $725 - $800 per night. 5-night minimum summer months of June/July/Aug and Fall/Winter/Spring Rates range $399-$650 per night. 3-night minimum fall/winter/spring months -will consider 2 night for special circumstances and past renters. Enjoy the sunset views from the deck of this beautiful 4 bedroom, 3 full bath Cabin on 2600 acre Shell Lake. Fish off the dock, play in the sand, hang by the fire, have some fun in the game room, take walks, bike or just relax. Shell Lake has very good clarity. Wonderful to swim in. We have a large sandy beach and as you walk into the water its gradual and does not get deep until past our dock. At the end of our dock, the water is about waist high or so. The town of Shell Lake is a few miles away, across the lake from the cabin. The area around the cabin is very wooded and East Lake Drive is great to take walks around the area or bike, ATV etc.. Located within blocks of the Wisconsin ATV/Snowmobile trails of the Indian-head region of northern Washburn County. Shell Lake is known for Walleye, Bass, Northern Pike and Muskie fishing. Shell Lake is a 2-hour scenic drive from the northeast side of the Twin Cities. We have a set of ordinances for all renters of our cabin from the City of Shell Lake: no fireworks, no tents/trailers/campers on property, no launching boats off the private beach (use public boat launch in Shell Lake only), no driving ATV's on cabin beach & cabin lawn, quiet time outside on beach and on all outside decking is 10pm, no more than 4 motorized vehicles are allowed to park on the premises at any time, the maximum # of occupants is 10. Payments received online only.

We just returned from a wonderful weekend! The cabin was spacious but still cozy, with lots of places to hang out and enjoy great family time. We enjoyed the yard and firepit area and went on walks right from the property enjoying the Fall colors. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. Many wonderful memories made!

From the moment you enter the front door you know you are destined for days of vacation life and family memories. Your eyes lead you right to the epic sandy beach lined with an array of water toys - and you are surrounded by a warm comfy vibe, I called it a âcabin hugâ.
None of us wanted to leave - it is a destination we will definitely be visiting again and again.

I grew up in the area and now live out of state. I rented this house to celebrate my 50th birthday and introduce Wisconsin to my best friends. It was perfect for our needs. The owners are very generous and thoughtful throughout - well stocked kitchen and linens, firepit, gas grill and kayaks, etc. The lakeshore property cannot be beat. The only thing I wasn't entirely clear on before check-in is the property manager will check you in and out in person - no lockbox for key or access code. Fully understandable that the owners prefer facetime with renters because this property is BEAUTIFUL.

This was our 8th year renting this home . We have two families that meet up with a total of 5 kids (ages 10-19) and there is plenty of room and things to do for everyone. Not only do we love the home, we also love the area! Plenty to do no matter what the weather! Canât wait to return next summer!

Fantastic Lakefront Cabin
Our family enjoyed spending time at this beautiful, well-appointed cabin. It had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable and relaxing. Gorgeous lake front property with lawn space for endless fun and games, clean sandy beach and swim area, firepit on the beach for bonfires every night, and a game room on the lower level of the cabin for everyone to enjoy. Tom the caretaker was very welcoming and had a lot of helpful information.
Our family had a blast!! Thank you Pam and Doug for everything. We would LOVE to come back!!

Excellent Getaway
This cabin was the perfect location for a long overdue family vacation. There were so many things to do inside and out by the water that there wasnât a time that we werenât busy. We made good use of the kayaks and paddle boats when it was hot out, enjoyed sâmores by the fire and even caught some smallmouth bass off the dock! When it was windy out we had plenty of fun in the basement man cave. Everyone in my family had a wonderful time and we would definitely rent this property again in the future.

This is a beautiful cabin in a great location. They have everything you could possibly need (esp in the kitchen and games)! I appreciate that they even wash the blankets on the beds between stays.

Family Spring Vacation
We spent a long weekend with our grandkids at the lake cabin. The weather was cool and the lake had some ice, but we enjoyed watching the deer from the deck. Our grandkids thought the game room was the best! They played for hours. The adults enjoyed the games, too.
We had many good recommendations from the property manager from Klopp's for pre-made pizzas to take back and bake to Louie's Fine Meats for our steaks. The kitchen had everything we needed. We enjoyed cooking our meals and having dinner together around the dining room table.
We couldn't have asked for a better lake cabin getaway!

We had a fantastic weekend at Shell Lake. The cabin was beautiful with so much to do! Also had great recommendations on where to go and what to do. Between two families, we had plenty of space and everything you need for a great stay!

We loved our stay! From the location hidden in the pines and layout of the property on a beautiful part of Shell Lake to the well appointed cabin, this place exceeded our expectations. This home checks all the boxes. Great game room, peaceful quiet areas to hide away with a book or for coffee or a nap, good sized bedrooms with comfy beds, clean bathrooms and a well organized and appointed kitchen. Despite our stay being in late October we were able to enjoy a few fires on the beach with provided firewood (inside and out). We shopped local boutiques and hit a few of the orchards. The owners truly thought of everything a family might want or need. Tom, the property manager was easy to work with for check in and check out. We will be back!

Lake Home
Sheâll lake home was gorgeous. We had such a great time with the family, so many things to do while we were there, had a fire down by the beach, enough room in the backyard to play outside games & enjoy the view of the lake at the same time. Our stay at Shell Lake was FANTASTIC! Beautiful, CLEAN home! Beautiful Lakeside with lawn space and a wonderful maintained sandy beach! Perfect firepit! Water toys to use! Our three grandchildren had a blast!
Pam and Doug have an awesome set up with EVERYTHING you may need! Tom, the caretaker was pleasant and welcoming. Absolutley NO issues whatsoever! We'd LOVE to go back!!
