Wat een fantastisch verblijf hebben wij gehad bij Bagoes View Cottages! Het is een kleinschalige accommodatie met slechts drie bungalows, prachtig gelegen met uitzicht over het meer en gerund door een ontzettend lieve familie.
De familie is enorm vriendelijk en helpt je met alles wat je nodig hebt. De moeder des huizes is de kok van de accommodatie en kan ongelooflijk lekker koken. We zijn inmiddels ruim tweeënhalve week aan het reizen in Sumatra en dit is zonder twijfel het lekkerste eten dat we tot nu toe hebben gehad!
We hebben hier echt een geweldige tijd gehad en zouden Bagoes View Cottages dan ook absoluut aanraden.

Beautiful view, amazing staff and so warm and welcoming. We had long chats on the verandah. The food was amazing and we loved our stay there

Les chalets sont situés sur les hauteurs, et donnent sur le lac. Ils sont spacieux et la literie est bonne.
Les repas sont délicieux avec un petit coup de cœur pour le poisson grillé. Le personnel et la gérante sont très souriants et serviables. L'établissement est très bien entretenu.
J'aurai apprécié un drap en plus du drap housse.
Pour information, il n'y a pas d'eau chaude.

Very spacious wooden bungalows, clean, great views over the lake, good breakfast and very friendly, very helpful English speaking personnel. But here is where good things finish. The hotel is high up on a hill, so you need some kind of transportation to reach it. The room had no cupboard or even hangers, the shower has only cold water and no soap, some ventilation holes have no mosquito mesh. Worst of all is the insanely loud village mosque, with its loudspeakers blaring till 20:15 Quran readings in Arabic and passionate preachings in Indonesian, between the five calls for prayers.
