Located in Groveland, this attractive cabin for $260 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Welcome to our home away from home, our cabin is located in a perfect part of the secure and gated Pine Mountain lake gated community and walk in distance to the Pine mountain lake beach area. 1450 SF cabin in a half an acre lot is ideal to see Yosemite and around areas. We equipped our cabin pretty well for our self as we try to spend most of our time there, with a great kitchen to prepare nice meals for your family in a relaxing and comforting environment with open floor plan, This great cabin located in the pine mountain lake, in Groveland CA, In Yosemite Area. This cabin house comes with high ceiling and a great place to sit back and relax. The master bedroom has two queen beds and a twin bed. Lower level has two bed rooms, has one queen and twin bed. The Patio deck overlooking the backyard, and has deck furniture and a propane BBQ for your out door entertainment.(propane included) Cabin has open floor plan , a very nice deck , overlooking the ,Mountain very relaxing setup. Its amazing in the morning, the sounds of the birds and deer walking around etc. We enjoy sitting in the living room and looking outside with those big windows , its so relaxing. Central AC - we installed a brand new central AC. Living Room. Living room is nicely decorated, has a pool table , has large dining table and eight people can sit comfortably. Very nice comfortable couch and setup in a very family friendly manner. Cable TV Has nice flat screen TV 42 ", We do have dish with more than 50 channels and internet as well. Lake and around area: Just walk in distance to the pine mountain lake beach areas. Area also has a country club In the Pine Mountain Lake. We enjoy the food in the country club and reasonable prices and very nice and relaxing environment and very friendly staff. Area The area looks pretty country style with rich trees and rich nature , yet you can get to a store in few minutes or to a gas station. Deer and wild birds and sometimes wild turkey we see them just crossing roads every now and then. Its an amazing the feeling how beautiful the nature is... Groveland CA Groveland is a very nice small town , Its has very nice market for groceries , has eating places , if you want Pizza or Chinese food or just coffee . Has very nice bars for a small drink. Pine mountain lake has a restaurant called Grill in the country club as well and Grill is just 5 minutes drive from the cabin. Grocery store just two miles. Internet We do have cable internet , if you check email or just browse the net. RUN DOWN. Very dusty. Doors didn't close right. Closet double doors DID NOT WORK.. Drawers didn't work smoothly. Lot's of scratched walls and doors. TV DID NOT WORK at all (BIG ISSUE). No decor. Bathroom was redone and nice, Kitchen Appliances worked well. Extra fridge was nice. Heater and hot water worked well. Large kitchen table. BIGGEST ISSUE was property manager offered no solutions to non-working TV. This is not acceptable.

The cabin itself was very large and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It will be pretty hot when you enter but cools down quickly with the AC on. The check-in process was a bit disappointing. There is a renters agreement you have to complete before check in which was not extremely obvious at first. Many policies within the renter's agreement require extra unexpected costs like a gate fee and garbage bags. The host also communicated mainly via calling or texting your personal phone number instead of using the VRBO app which was not preferred or warranted. Overall, the cabin was plenty large for a family gathering, close to the park, and other amenities in Groveland. I would stay here again, I just wish the listing was more transparent about the check-in policies and hidden fees.

Nice and clean place, many amenities like towels and cutlery are provided, and the pool table was a nice touch. Just a short drive away from restaurants and supermarket, but do note that the location is within the Pine Mountain Lake area so the property is only accessible via the main gate, with $44 parking permit.

This cabin was very nice and perfect for the teenagers as it included a pool table. In addition to this, the location was a walking distance to the lake. Overall, I would stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

disappointed not as described!
The neighborhood/community was great. Very quiet and the beaches were clean. The house we rented on the other hand was nothing as advertised. House is a potential hazard for anyone as materials are all layed out throughout bottom floor. The main house staircase from parking lot is very wobbly. Deck and stairs are all splinter-bound to happen. All outdoor furniture and grill full of spiders/webs. The inside of the house was very dirty. Walls,fans,windows are all filthy and dusty. House smelled nasty. Lots of items broken throughtout the house. Floors were filthy and towels and blankets supplied were also dirty. Honestly overpayed for this filth. Don't rent from here people trust me.

Yosemite Trip
Great time with friends. The deck was a fantastic addition. Close enough to Yosemite and Hetch Hetchy and the neighborhood was very walkable. Trash was the only catch, have to pay for bags at the gate to dispose but other than that. Super fun.

Host is very nice and responsive. It just a great and amazing place to stay near a yosemite national park. Cabin was clean. Kitchen is fully equipped with pan and all other required utensils. Surroudnding area is so quite and peaceful. I must recommend this place.

We rented this home for a Yosemite trip. First, after having our reservation accepted we were then told we had to pay for wifi. Then we were told we had to pay for parking and specific garbage bags. I was sent a rental agreement separate from VRBO which was new to me. I contacted Zed, the owner and he said there were garbage bags in the house and that he would not charge us wifi.
The day before we traveled a forest fire started in the area. I contacted Zed and he advised that the community was being evacuated. Easy enough I figured he was going to cancel our reservation. Well he never did and refused to refund us our money. He said he would give us a credit to use his house again but that is not what we wanted. Since Yosemite is now on a reservation system we did not know when we would be able to go again. I reached out to him several times for the refund and he never replied. I contacted VRBO and they were of no help as of yet.
Do not rent this home. Zed is dishonest.

This place was in a great location to give us access to Yosemite without paying the pricey Valley costs. Decent stay
The home is spacious. The only gripes I had was the condition of the home. The ceiling fan in the bedroom was SO wobbly that we didn't use it. The downstairs beds were very uncomfortable that they hurt my, my husband's and my mom's back. It's good if you aren't expecting a lot, but for $800 for 2 nights, it just seemed run down.
It would have been nice if the owner provided the special garbage bag for us to dispose of the items securely. We had to purchase at the gate (which is fine but inconvenient).
The pros:

Zed was very responsive during the stay.
There are a million items in the kitchen, from pans to a waffle maker. We had everything we could possibly want.
Couches were comfy and the pool table is fun
Spacious home with a fun outdoor area

Labor Day weekend at Pine Mountain Lake
We enjoyed our stay at Zed's cabin. Zed was very nice, easy to reach and responsive. Easy check-in/out. The cabin was simple, nice, quiet and relaxing. We were a party of 12 with kids and two small dogs and we were comfortable. The kitchen had everything that we needed. There was plenty of space for different age groups to hang out. Everyone enjoyed the pool table. The kids liked watching the roaming wild turkeys, deer and ducks. Many beaches to choose from. The marina beach was the most convenient for us. It had a jumping platform, clean restrooms, showers and snack bar. We were so close to the places on our list. The grocery store, restaurants were a very short drive away. It was an easy commute to/from Yosemite, Don Pedro Lake, Rainbow Pools. Overall, we had a nice, comfortable and relaxing holiday.

Weekend Cabin trip
The property was a cabin and all that it implies. It was not fancy. The listing said that it would sleep 12 but there were only 11 spots with beds. I don't feel that a counts as a bed especially for an adult. It just should have been listed that way. The owner was very responsive and helpful with questions and concerns. We spent time in Yosemite and at the lake which has a very nice beach very close to the cabin.

Fun holiday at near Yosemite
Zed's apartment was very nice and had plenty of beds for our large group. House is in a nice neighborhood with Marina close-by with sand on the lake and children's play area. House was well equipped with kitchen equipment, cutleries, Keurig machine, drip coffee machine, plates etc. House was very clean when we arrived.
House is about 45 minutes from the Yosemite National park. There is a grocery store and some restaurant nearby.
The booking process was easy and Zed was nice enough to extend the check-in time to early morning (for a fee). Only thing I missed was that the rental docs must be printed, signed and sent via email.
The house had supplied as described in the "What is provided" list that Zed sends before the rental. That list also lists also lists internet as chargeable after 1 GB however, Zed made it unlimited for us. Zed was great with communication throughout the rental. He was flexible to work with and made every effort to make the stay better. We thoroughly enjoyed the house and will definitely rent again if we do another Yosemite trip.

We had a great time in this home the surrounding Pine Mountain Lake community was awesome with beach lake access that was perfect for our family. Home was clean and in great condition. Very comfortable and host was great at communicating and very accommodating would recommend this place for this place for families looking to stay in a home while visiting Yosemite and the surrounding area

The cabin was great, and much larger than expected. Very clean and came equipped with everything.
Our experience at the cabin was an overall great time. The pool table was definitely a big attraction. The cabin had everything we needed and more, plates, towels, cable tv, games, etc. Highly recommend staying here. The owner was very polite, very attentive, easy to reach, and made sure we had a great experience.
