Situated in Texas City, this charming cottage for $139 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Historical 1902 house with off-street parking. We are three blocks from the beach. Features include a private back patio with a tropical setting and Gas Grill, Wi-Fi, Smart 32" TV with DVD and Google Chromecast, washer/dryer, central air and electric heat. 1 BR with an additional pull out couch in the LR. It is located in the historic San Jacinto district of Galveston and within walking distance of many of the island's feature attractions. Free parking on the beach, with free beach umbrella and 2 chairs; on beautiful Poretto Beach. This applies to everyday for our guests; weather permitting.

Rhonda is amazing. She answers right away and so easy to work with. The house is so clean and comfortable. She did some personal things to make our 10 year anniversary special! The neighborhood was great! Walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The pass to Porretto beach with chairs and umbrella were a great bonus! The beach is really nice as well as the people that run it! We are sad to say goodbye, but we can’t wait to plan our next trip to the little mermaid house! Thank you for your hospitality and making this such a great anniversary trip!

We loved staying here. Very short drive to the beach. Loved having the free beach access, umbrella and chairs!! Saved us $50 each day! Cool and comfortable. Convenient to the Strand and to the Seawall and to all restaurants.

This is the cutest little house! Very clean and stocked with everything we needed. Keep in mind this is a small, very old home so if a large bathroom or large kitchen is important to you, it might not work. However, the charm more than makes up for it because we love older homes. The host, Rhonda, was friendly and communicative so we would definitely love to stay here again the next time we are out this way.

The house was as pictured. Close to everything and so walkable to beach and many great eating places. The birds kept us company in the back garden, the front porch a great place to read. If you want a sweet home away this is it.

Well kept and well stocked little jewel tucked on a shady little lot 3 blocks away from the beach in Galveston. There is NO designated parking which could be a little frustrating but it’s certainly NOT a deal breaker. There are plenty of restaurants and bars, convenience stores and shops, a Kroger AND a Walmart along Seawall Blvd. the Strand (downtown area) is a short drive with lots of boutique shopping, coffee shops and restaurants. We stayed 5 days and the hosts had everything we needed INCLUDING beach towels and beach chairs. They are very responsive if you have any questions or concerns before your stay. You WONT regret renting this little cottage!

This house was cozy and sweet! It was clean and had everything we needed for a little beach trip. We walked to almost everywhere that we wanted to go, about a five minute walk to the beach and a mile walk to many restaurants. The owner was sweet and easy to work with.

This was a great little house for my husband and me. Perfect location and everything we needed. Quiet neighborhood with a cute patio to relax. Parking was easy in front of the house. Kitchen had everything although I never cooked. Very clean and charming. The owners could not have been nicer! Very comfortable bed and living area. We would definitely stay here again

This little house is so cute! It resembles a Van Gogh painting. Loved the location-so close to the see wall and the Strand where there was tons of great restaurants, entertainment, and shopping. Very eclectic which we loved. One week wasn’t enough time to fit everything in, but we sure did have fun trying.

Rhonda was very responsive throughout the visit and super helpful in tracking down a lost item even after checkout time. The property is just blocks from the seawall, with a quick walk to the beach or to restaurants. The backyard is the perfect place for relaxing with a book!

Everything pictured on verbo web site was accurate. kitchen was perfect, stocked with everything you would need for preparing a meal. Bed was comfortable and room was very quiet. The outdoor patio was amazing, and the grill works. The welcome wine was a nice touch. We loved everything about the little house and will be back.
