Our family of five (3 adolescent boys) had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home on the lake. The house is incredibly well stocked with anything you could need and is exceptionally well organized. It is very comfortable with space to spread out and enjoy the views of the lake. Denise and Pete are thoughtful and attentive hosts and readily available for any questions.

Great house. Clean. Hosts very accommodating. We were there in the dog days of the summer with lots of rain. Didn’t cool off at night either. No air conditioning in the home. And because of the rain and bugs, we needed to keep the windows closed. If you are ok without air conditioning on hot summer days and nights, this is a great house.

Denise and Pete were amazing and the property was something out of a fairytale book. My family thoroughly enjoyed all the property had to offer and will always hold a very special place in our hearts as our daughter and future son-in-law got engaged by the shoreline.

This lake side property is absolutely beautiful and well maintained. House is very spacious, clean and beautiful. Has all the amenities and supplies you may need during you stay. Denise was easy to communicate with and has been in touch with us all through the stay. It is in a remote location, so have to drive a bit to get to the restaurants and shops. Will definitely stay here again!

What a beautiful spot! As we pulled into the driveway, the first thing we noticed was the spectacular view of the lake and the mountains. Then our gracious and thoughtful hosts, Denise and Pete, gave us a much-appreciated tour of their gorgeous lakeside home. The house was perfect for us (four adults and a child). It was quite spacious and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed views of the lake from nearly every room. To say the kitchen was fully equipped is an understatement; the chef in our group found everything he needed. It was delightful to be only a short walk to the lake, where we swam, launched our kayaks, and made s’mores in the firepit on the beach. For some of us, simply relaxing on the covered patio and enjoying the magnificent view was a highlight of our stay. After one rainy afternoon, we were rewarded with a double rainbow! We did leave the house to explore the many nature trails in the area, climb Jay Peak in the Green Mountains, tour the Burlington waterfront, and of course, search for the biggest and best creemees. But after these excursions, we always looked forward to returning to this beautiful, welcoming home on the lake.

We love to explore our great State of Vermont for a week every summer. This location was brand new to us and we loved it! What a gorgeous spot with a panoramic view right on Lake Champlain! Wow! The listing captures and says it all. Our family of 4, 2 adults and 2 older teenagers, enjoyed our family time on the water and in this vacation home. We appreciated the incredible warm welcome and tour from Denise and Pete, the consummate hosts. They were responsive and really just had all the bases covered for a complete vacation home. We could tell a lot of great meals have been served in that kitchen, as every detail was covered. The home is tastefully decorated and laid out. It really felt like we were home! We enjoyed the amazing view, the private beach for swimming and kayaking, the many birds and sunny weather - and the view of all the weather. My son found a nice reading spot under the shade tree that we all enjoyed together. We loved exploring the area on our bikes and went to a couple Vermont State Parks. So much water everywhere! We really didn't have enough time to see everything, we will have to go back. We kept it simple most days and stayed right at the location doing a lot of reading and relaxing. We appreciated Denise and Pete sharing their beautiful lake home with us! Thank you!!
