Great accommodations right by the beach and Ted’s Bakery. There were 7 of us so I thought we might be a little cramped but the house seems bigger than the photos depict. We all had plenty of space to ourselves. The extra futon was a great bonus and big enough for myself (short person) or my tween daughters to sleep.

Booked a last minute getaway to the North Shore seeking beach time and this house was perfect. Very comfortable, super clean, nicely furnished and supplied, and walking distance to fantastic beach. Owner very helpful and friendly. Ready to go back!

Perfect location for our surfing family. Walking distance to several surf spots and the N. Shore's infamous Ted's Bakery. Plenty of room for our group of 5 and everything you need to cook your own meals. Rick was very easy to communicate with and we had a great week.

The house is large enough for our family of 5. It does share a driveway with the home next door so you’ll need to enter slowly because they have several cars that they jockey in and out throughout the day.. The house was generally clean and there were plenty of leftover supplies from previous visitors. I love the split bedroom and I also like that each room had it’s own A/C unit so you can control the temperature in each room individually. TVs in every room including the kitchen/dining area . Walking distance to Sunset Beach as well as Ted’s bakery which is a must if you’re in the North Shore. Keyless entry was a plus as our group separated throughout our stay and no need to keep track of keys was great. The owner was responsive when we needed any information or had questions. Outside shower was great to rinse off after a day at the beach but the water is COLD. Washer and dryer are outside and that was a plus. Plenty of beach chairs/snorkeling/ umbrellas and water shoes. Overall great place to stay..

Rick is a wonderful host who personally greeted us at checkin at the property. He explained house rules. The house is clean and well equipped with everything. We did encountered problems with the refrigerator , loud noise and broken door shelves, which caused us to lose a gallon of oak milk. It was a minor inconvenience. Rick did acknowledge the problem and apologized.
We stayed at the property with 6 adults for 6 nights.

The home was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The amenities would allow for an entire family to enjoy the area and beaches well. Rick was a great host and met us at the unit and gave us an overview. Check-in and out was very easy. The AC was great, especially after our bike rides. We enjoyed the beaches, food trucks, restaurants, sunrises on the beach and sunsets on the beach. In the home, there were also lots of other little stuff like sunscreen, lotion, etc. We were also welcomed with a box of Hawaiian macadamia chocolates. I ate the whole box during the week. I would stay here again. Aloha!

Rick's place is the perfect home away from home, with everything you need for a small group stay. We had 6ppl, my two adult kids and their partners, and each couple had their own rooms. One room is quite small, but the living room and day bed area was very comfortable for the whole family to hang out in together. More importantly, the location is spectacular, a 5 min walk to the beach, and about 20 mins walk to Ekuhai/Pipeline. Plus, Ted's Bakery is practically next door! Mahalo, Rick :)

This house was perfect for our family of 5! We had plenty of room, it was exceptionally clean, the host was great and friendly, and it was so close to the beach and Ted’s bakery!!! The beach was so quiet, private, and beautiful! We had a lot of fun playing in the waves and visiting the friendly neighbors on the beach. We walked to Ted’s for breakfast and coffee-absolutely best place around! It was so close to all of the beaches we wanted to visit, close to our luau, and the grocery store is a short ride away. We divided our time between Wakiki and North Shore and believe me this is the place you want to stay! Thank you so much for offering your home!

Parking was tight. Neighbor was a little annoying. He had 4 vehicles. The neighbor at one time seemed like they were upset with us for not pulling in all the way in because they were washing there vehicles. I didn't like pulling in all the way because it was hard for everyone to get in and out of the vehicle. The stay was nice. Had a great time. The beach area Rick suggested was very nice.

Absolutely loved our stay here! Sunset Beach is a half mile walk away but there is beach access just across the road. The house is very comfortable. AC was a bonus. Bed comfy and water pressure is amazing. The front porch is a lovely place to get a break from the sun.

Rick was great, he met us when we arrived and gave us a tour and explained how everything worked and even gave us restaurant suggestions. It's an easy walk to the beach. Our group was 4 adults and 2 children.

This house was PERFECT for our family! My husband and I took our two boys, their girlfriends, and our daughter to Hawaii. We stayed on the North Shore, and Rick's house was in the perfect location to get where we wanted to go. It was clean, stocked with everything we needed, and Rick was easy to communicate with. We will 100% stay here again! 10/10 recommend!

Rick was extremely kind and helpful. We arrived really late, and he welcomed my hungry teens with pizza. The property was clean and welcoming. We had everything we needed for an easy stay. The only downfall which is mentioned many times in other reviews, so we were aware going in, is the noise from the road when sitting on the deck. It is a very short walk - five minutes or less - to a very nice beach. Overall, we loved our stay and have no complaints!

This was a great place. It was clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable with plenty of room. Rick, the owner, was extremely kind and welcoming. The house is on the mountain side of the highway unlike the pin on VRBO. We definitely enjoyed our stay there and would be thrilled to stay again.

Walking into Rick's house made us feel like we really were on the North Shore of Oahu! It has the perfect mix of island feel, beach bungalow, and 'make yourself at home in our home' feel!
Location was great, beds were so comfy, included all the amenities needed (and then some - like suntan lotion on the shelf along with rain poncho which we needed both - lol!) He also provided beach chairs and umbrellas, ice chests, boogie boards, beach towels, and more. Honestly, everything we needed!
We were three couples in our 50's-60's and found the home the perfect little place for our 5 nights on the North Shore. I do want to say that the 3rd bedroom is on the small side but it worked just fine for us. And, just as Rick pointed out, the Kam Hwy can be a little noisy when out on the deck but didn't hinder us from using it for morning coffee and a couple dinners :) Mahalo Rick ~ we loved your home!

This rental was the prefect house for my husband and I. We got married and moved from my parents VRBO to this one and it was perfect! The whole house was so clean and organized. Would 100% recommend this house and stay in again. Host was very polite and made sure we had everything for our stay!
