Nestled in Rosemary Beach, this charming house for $475 per night is a great option for your next break. Sunsplash is conveniently located right at the front of the Seacrest neighborhood, but not directly on 30A so no street noise. It's directly across from the 12,000 square foot pool and very close (~100yds) to the beach and the shops/restaurants in Rosemary and Alys. If you look at the map below, you'll see that it's the second house on the right when you enter the neighborhood. Sunsplash has lots of privacy -- especially on the rooftop deck where you can enjoy panoramic views of the Gulf and spectacular sunsets. It’s on a quiet cul-de-sac where kids can play and ride their bikes. And, it's just a 3-minute stroll down a private, palm-lined path to the beach. If you prefer not to walk, a complimentary golf cart will pick you up at your doorstep. It's also just a few steps away from the shops, restaurants and live music at Peddler's Pavilion (~50 yards), Rosemary and Alys. We love to cook and entertain, so we've stocked the kitchen with everything you'll need to prepare a gourmet meal. The large, open style kitchen, dining and living room layout makes it easy and fun for everyone to enjoy meals and hang out together. Relax in front of the 60" HD TV with 5.1 Surround Sound and watch a movie or listen to music. There’s also high-speed gigabit fiber internet access and WiFi, and a complete selection of board games for the kids. We enjoyed the location to all things! Beach, pool, and eateries are all very walkable. Great recommendations in the binder. Layout was perfect and the rooftop patio was a nice hang in the evening!
Upon arrival, we did have to wipe down counters and sweep. The kitchen must have been missed.
Coffee on the front porch was peaceful. Siding could use a sweep with all the webs.
Loved having laundry on site!
Overall, we enjoyed!

House was in a perfect location- pool across the street, stores/restaurants a few minutes walk away & easy access to tram to get to the beach! We had a great time cooking in the kitchen, relaxing on the couch and utilizing the fun beach toys/chairs. I would definitely recommend staying at this house to other friends and would come back again! Thanks for letting us make memories in your home!

The property is in a great location. The property manager responded very quickly to our concerns. The house was not clean at all. Bathrooms were terrible. By reading the description I was under the impression there were four mater bedrooms but there were only two master bedroom and a total of four bathrooms.

This house was the PERFECT house and location for our annual family vacation!! So clean!! Nice owners!! House is very close to the pool so it was perfect to go back and forth for snacks and naps!! Definitely recommend! We will be back!!

This was our second stay at Sunsplash. Owner is very communicative and responsive and the house is in a perfect location - just a few minutes walk to the beach and all that Seacrest, Alys, and Rosemary have to offer. The house has very comfortable beds, a kitchen well stocked with cooking supplies, and lovely porches for hanging out. We will be back.

Summer Vacation
Nothing but great things to say about the property! The location is fantastic with a short easy walk to the beach and the pool is literally right across the street. With small children this is great for breaks and such because it is so easy to get back to the house and eat or rest. We have been to Florida 10 years now for summer break and this was by far the best location we have been too. We also enjoyed the fact that everything you need is within walking distance minus the grocery store but it is only a few minute drive.
A close second the the location was the communication with the owners. They were great to work with and extremely fast to respond to questions.
Thanks for a great trip and we will try and come back for sure!

Great location near pool, Peddler’s Pavilion, and beach access point. Easy process with owner and everything was as represented. Loved porches and it was nice to have beach supplies available. Beds were very comfortable.
Weather was a little chilly so wish pool was heated.

Nice beach house
Nice beach house, had everything needed for stay. Very spacious and was able to house 4 adults and 3 children comfortably. Microwave did not work but was able to communicate with owner who was efficient in handling issue.

The location cannot be beat! Easy walk to the beach, and the tram is very quick to arrive to haul the family and gear to the beach. The umbrella/beach chair rentals add a hefty cost to the vacay, at approx $200 per day for our group. The small beach area open to those not renting from la dolce vita is very crowded, and canopies are not allowed. One day we chose to go to the public Inlet Beach, and it was fantastic. Not crowded, great for swimming. It was our favorite beach time.
Sunplash is such an easy walk to the pool, and the pool is fabulous! The cafe by the pool offers really good burgers, seafood baskets and frozen drinks.
Sunplash is spacious, and the perfect size for our family. Although the description talks about the gulf view from the upper deck, there is no view. New, 3 story homes have been built and there is no view unless you look just right between houses you'll see about one inch of water.
Go to the beach before sunset for the best photo moments. It's just stunning. We also enjoyed searching for crabs at night.
The home shows some tough wear & tear in the middle of the high season, which is understandable. But some of the issues were distracting--such as the cabinet front on the 1st floor bathroom that had fallen off and left a gaping hole. Stains on the white sofa, fridge door shelves missing, toilet not working properly.
The kitchen is really well stocked! Much appreciated because we did most of our cooking at the house, to avoid crowded restaurants. The provided beach towels are a bonus, as well as a few beach chairs. Be sure to bring shampoo and soap for showers, plus detergent, these essentials are not provided
Two big SUV's kept parking in our 3 assigned spaces, and when reported to the property managers, we were told that they don't know anything about that. No offer of steps to take to resolve.
The neighborhood is really quiet, and enjoyable to walk or bike. Bike rentals are just a block away, and a fun way to explore the area.
We checked in on a Saturday afternoon, and be warned that shopping at the nearest Publix for groceries on Saturday or Sunday is an absolute madhouse. The staff told us it's that way every Sat, Sun and Mon. Getting to the dairy aisle was nearly impossible for the crowds and pushing. They were out of many items (such as Sprite) but the produce was fresh and plentiful.
The best part of the trip: 3 generations spending a relaxing week together after 16 months apart in a great house.

Great vacation in Seacrest!
We had a wonderful time and Sunsplash was great and very spacious. We had family members ranging in age from grandparents to teens and a toddler. So close to the pool and a short walk to beach. We only had to leave to get groceries other than that everything was within walking distance. Very cute shops and Starbucks also close. We will definitely return!!!

Perfect Location!
Best vacation ever! The location was absolutely perfect! So close to all the restaurants and shops. We walked everywhere. Only used the car to go to the grocery store which was super close. The beach was a 5 min walk and you could also take the tram which has a stop right outside the front door! The pool was across the street from the house and was super clean and very family friendly. Two of the adults had to work a couple of days and had no problem with the WIFI. The rooftop deck was the best part of the house! Greg the owner was great. He is very quick to respond and answers all questions. Thanks Greg, we will defiantly stay here again!

We loved the house. It had a great cozy, comfortable, homey vibe. The bedrooms were spacious. The location was awesome! Amenities were great. The rooftop deck was special for morning coffee and for evening cocktails. Very close to the pool and to the tram stop. Just a couple of blocks walking distance from the beach.

Amazing 4th of July week!
We had the best vacation! The Sunsplash house was Amazing! The location was right next to the pool and very close to the beach! The property manager answered all of our questions and was always available! The house was fully stocked w/ everything you will need in kitchen. It was nice and clean! The 3rd floor balcony was beautiful but that level bedroom did get hot. Our only negative is that the Seacrest Beach access was practically shoulder to shoulder in the space you were allowed to sit in and the rental chairs were booked for the whole week...it was a very crowded week there though but I wish i would’ve called ahead to rent the chairs a few weeks before. The house is close to all the Seacrest food and super close to Rosemary as well! We would love to stay again!! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Our family had a beach great trip and enjoyed staying at Sunsplash. This house is very well located between beach and pool within the Seacrest community. Plenty of living room space, nice bedrooms and great balconies. Great week - would definitely recommend staying here!

The only issue I had with the property itself is that the WiFi was quite substandard - there wasn't equal coverage throughout the house and the bandwidth was pretty low. Since it's 2019 and it's easy and cheap to build a fast WiFi network with good coverage I think that's something that should be addressed by this owner (and probably other property owners).
Now I will cover something I did not like about the property. Right next door, there was active construction going on daily from Monday - Saturday of our stay. This means that starting at 7 am, and going all through the day until 5 pm, there was the loud noises of construction (nail gun, hammering, sawing, various loud noises, contractors parking in the property parking spaces, etc.). I booked this property for my vacation. I wanted to spend a week on the Seacrest beach front and wake up at my leisure, and be able to come back and relax quietly in the property at my leisure as well throughout my days in the property. I think VRBO and the property owners need to put the fact that there is active construction going on in close proximity to the property right up at the top of the listing in bold red font. If it means you have to offer a discount to rent the property, well, that's business. I would have liked to have had the knowledge of this construction at the time I made the booking - perhaps I would have booked a different property or a different location.
And finally, I want to review the Seacrest beach-front access for guests as a big part of what goes into selecting a property at Seacrest is its access to beach front. It's been 3 years since I last stayed in a Seacrest property so I was very unpleasantly surprised to learn that approximately 80% of the Seacrest beach front is occupied by a chair-and-umbrella rental company (Dolce Vita) and that if you bring your own umbrella and chairs, you and hundreds of other families are confined to the remaining 20% of the Seacrest beach front unless you shell out $60/day to Dolce Vita for their chairs. This was very crowded - not so enjoyable.
This will be my last visit to Seacrest. The property itself was fine - the construction and beach issues are deal breakers.

The kitchen appliances are new and high quality. Pots and pans and serving dishes are plentiful. Small appliances were great. The 4-burner gas grill was clean. The wi-fi was a big enough pipeline to stream movies.
The living room sectional was huge and much more comfortable than other properties we visited. The 65” tv and soundbar were outstanding. The third floor deck is wonderfully inviting with great places to sit and lounge either alone or with friends.
The only things preventing a five star rating this trip were some cleaning and maintenance issues we found on arrival. However the owners graciously handled our complaint. They made things right promptly and fairly. They take great pride in their property and clearly care about their guests. We would not hesitate to return!

Sunsplash house has one of the best locations in the Seacrest community. Easy access to the beach (4 min. walk ) and only a few hundred yards from the enormous pool complex. The house is well equipped to hold a large family or 4 couples with separate bathrooms for all. The kitchen is very well supplied with dishes and cooking pans. We stayed for the whole month of January with another couple. We had several friends visit during the month and all enjoyed the 30A area which is loaded with wonderful restaurants, cafes, seafood, and coffee houses. There are also 4 wonderful state parks within a 30 minute drive.

Great house in a perfect location!
We had a party of 9 [grandparents (2), my family (4), and my sister's family (3)]. When we originally booked this house, I was worried about the dynamics of everyone being under one roof since rain was forecast for most of our stay. As we parked our cars and unloaded, everyone was in awe of the place. Everyone was sidetracked while unloading because they checked out patio and both balconies on the 2nd and the 3rd floors. I have to admit, the 3rd floor balcony was AMAZING!
The grandparents took the 1st floor bedroom; I, my wife, and our baby took one of the 2nd floor bedrooms, my sister's kids took the other 2nd floor bedroom with the four bunks, and my sister took the 3rd floor bedroom with my other child in the daybed on the 3rd floor loft.
The worries about having that many people under one roof disappeared by dinnertime. There was plenty of seating on the 1st floor as we hung out while chefs cooked in the kitchen; whoever wanted quiet either went to the patio, to one of the balconies, or into their rooms. The house was spacious and made us feel like we were at home.
The best part of the house's location was when we stepped out of the house, the walk to 30A was less than 1 minute. If we went in one direction and walked 5 minutes, the quaint town of Rosemary Beach was there. If we went the other direction and walked less than 10 minutes, there was the gorgeous town of Alys Beach. Both towns had a handful of restaurants and local shops to choose from within walking distance.
If you prefer cooking, you can drive to the grocery stores that are only 5 minutes away. More options for restaurants and shopping are close by. If you prefer Destin and outlet shopping, it is about a 30-45 minute drive, depending on the site.
Minus the rain, we loved our time there, especially when playing with your wide selection of games (our favorites were Scrabble and Uno). Thank you for the quick responses to all of our questions and sharing your wonderful home with us.
