About this house rental
Situated in Lake Erie, this attractive house for $345 per night is a great choice for your next break. This property contains both a five bedroom, 2-1/2 bath main house and a 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage. Both houses are available to rent either individually or together, depending upon your needs. The house and the cottage are priced individually. Contact owner for pricing and availability for the cottage. The main house features a king size bed in the master bedroom with an attached full bath. Bedroom 2 contains a full size bed as does Bedrooms 3, 4, and 5. All bedrooms are on the second floor. The main house has a another full bath on the first floor and an additional 1/2 bath upstairs. There is a loft area on the second floor with a wicker sofa and chair and TV. Main level features fully equipped kitchen with stove, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave. 2 eating areas total seating for eight Laundry facilities Two-tier deck overlooking water Hot tub Leather sleeper sofa with 4" memory foam mattress Additional seating areas The guest cottage is a 2 bedroom (both contain full size beds) and one bathroom. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, silverware, glasses, and cookware. There is a stove, refrigerator, microwave, stackable washer and dryer. Towels and linens are provided. There is a deck attached to house plus a deck overlooking the lake.

We love staying here for Thanksgiving. It is a great getaway for our family as its just two hours away which allows some of us to come for the whole week and others for the long weekend.
The well equipped kitchen makes holiday meal prep easy and the house is lovely any time of year.
We look forward to spending more memory-making vacations in this great house.

Loved the house and location. Was very disappointed on the way to go down to the beach area. There was rebar sticking straight up in several places and on the last step it was a very big drop off.

Hard to imagine a view of Lake Erie that’s better! We spent a lot of our time on the expansive deck. The house has everything needed for a comfortable stay, along with some fresh updates from our stay last year. Thank you!

This place is absolutely amazing besides the hot water situation..There is only luke warm water an thats inly for about 5 minutes

There were 11 of us total that stayed and it was a great place for us near my grandparents house so we all could visit. My big complaints are the utensils were really clean in the drawers, a lot of them had food still on them so we had to wash them again which was a big deal. The biggest issue was the hot water. There was only enough for about 5 minutes total of hot water. So you had to hurry as fast as possible through a shower so the next person might be able to do the same. It made it hard to get everyone clean each day especially when ages ranged from 59 to 5 months old and everyone played outside. Otherwise it was a nice place to stay.

The patio and the view make this house. It is located in a nice neighborhood with a park at the end of the road….very walkable. My sisters came up for a few nights, and there was plenty of room. We loved having coffee in the upstairs “look-out” room followed by mimosas on the deck. The two weeks went way too fast. We would rent this house again!

We had a great time and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The property is beautiful and fit our group well. The deck with the hot tub and fire pit next to the water was wonderful. Steps down to the beach area were not the best for my grandparents so they did bot get to go down to the lake but they enjoyed the deck and watching the kids splash in the water from there. We were close to town and winerys which was an added bonus. We are hoping to be able to get this property again in the future. There was quite a bit of dog hair upon arrival so I assume the last party had and animal but other than that everything was great!

This was exactly what we were looking for, a nice quiet area with plenty of space just to relax and spend quality time with family.
The only drawback was there was literally no beach area. Its a common issue for the lake area so we understood why and certainly not the owners fault. The coastline sure has changed for Erie over the years! But we would stay here again!! We just loved the house and thankful we also rented the guest house for our daughter and son in law and their babies.

Perfect stay
This home was perfect for our large family of 12 adults and 3 children. The deck overlooking the water was amazing.
The cottage was perfect to give us much needed space. Plenty of seating and everything we needed for our stay. We cant wait to book again!

It was a cold week and we were not able to raise the temperature at the home above 64 degrees. We ended up sleeping in our clothing and piling on every available blanket. I would not recommend this home for a winter stay.

The only thing it’s missing, and it may be particular to us, is a fenced in area for the dog. That being said, it’s still nice to have a place that accepts dogs. We enjoyed our time and what few questions we had were quickly answered.

The owners have a hand drawn map of the local restaurants and places of interest that was very helpful. The area itself is loaded with places to go, many of which are within walking distance.
The house was very clean upon arrival. 4 stars out of 5 for cleanliness due to one bed having a lot of hairs on the pillow, making it hard to believe the sheets were washed.
Overall, great house. We would definitely visit again.

We love staying at the Lake house- this is our 3rd time and it never gets old!!! The view is simply breathtaking and I love looking for beach glass!! We rented the cottage also this year and it was perfect for our needs!! We will be back!!

We had another wonderful stay in this Lake House. As our daughters now have four children between them, we also rented the small cottage behind the house. We stayed in the cottage for 3 nights while my daughters and their kids (plus one spouse one night) stayed in the main house and then we had the main house to ourselves for 4 nights. The kids love the playground and the local beach. We loved some of the hiking nearby (especially Hogback Ridge Park). The house could not have been cleaner or better stocked. The deck is an especially nice spot to watch sunsets or just listen to the waves.

Our family loves this house and all the amenities it offers. We have stayed here several times - the house, decks, hot tub, beach access, the cottage, etc. - this property offers us everything we need for a perfect family vacation on Lake Erie.
