Nestled in Mount Juliet, this attractive house for $250 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. My place, aptly named JOYWOOD, is right on the lovely Old Hickory Lake. Just outside the city of Mt. Juliet with all it's amenities including Providence Mall within minutes. You’ll love my place because of the complete privacy accompanied by total convenience of amenities within a mile. Peace & joy abound here. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). There is a double mattress, twin mattress trundle bed & a twin air bed along with a couch so as many as 6 could sleep here. There are biking trails & a boat launch within walking distance. This property DOES NOT have Wi-Fi.

Amazing place with great amenities. Pictures didn’t do it’s justice and was shocked by the turnout of this place. Would recommend to anyone who likes to have privacy/ away from the city

Charming home on the water on a wooded lot. Had lots of character and was a fun ambiance however the property could have used some maintenance. There was glass in the yard and the lawn furniture had seen better days. Overall it was a nice spot.

Great quaint house quiet cove. Enjoyed paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing and lake days. Rented a boat from Ryan and Jack at Anchor High Marina for several lake days - absolutely beautiful, fun tubing and fishing. Close to grocery stores - less than 10 minutes. Made many home cooked meals. Lots of fun in the game/music room. Less than 30 minutes from Nashville enjoyed an evening on Broadway eating at Ol’ Red, listening to music and seeing all the venues.

We had a great time and the inside of this property was cute and quaint. But the TV reception was terrible (old TV) nd the DVD player didn't work. Perhaps a smart TV and Roku is needed especially since the WIFI is excellent. It was difficult to find this property. A better road sign from the street would be helpful since it is hidden. The views were amazing but the yard is cluttered with faded plastic chairs, faded fake floral, and old flower pots. The house was well stocked and clean and had lots of interesting decor. We had an amazing time traveling from Florida for my nephew's wedding and I would still recommend it but more so if the owners put a little TLC into the yard, upgraded the TV, and upgraded signs or markers.

This is a lovely place to be away from it all, but close enough to get to it. Nestled near Mount Juliet and Nashville you have access to everything you need or nothing at all. Your choice. Delightful hostess, lovely property, well stocked and loved. Unique finds :)

My brothers and I so enjoyed our stay at Joywood. It was a perfect location for us, a fairly secluded waterfront location but just a few mins from everything! It had everything we needed and more. Joi was so easy to work with and very quick to answer any questions we had. We even saw a family of deer! Thanks again for everything!

We were so thrilled to stay at Green Hill! From the moment we walked in, we were all wowed by the view of the lake, the cute retro kitchen, the record collection, and board games. We had 2 kids with us and they loved their room with the bunk beds, Winnie the Pooh theme, and chalkboard to draw on. The view of the lake is gorgeous and we enjoyed the fire pit and outdoor seating. Joy was friendly and easy to communicate with. It was the perfect place for a weekend reunion of friends!

The pictures do not do this property justice! It is nestled back in the wooded area on the lake, and the seating areas all are strategically placed for comfort for whatever you are doing, whether it be grilling, fishing, bonfire, corn hole, or just enjoying the nature. This house is full of history and items from years ago that in most cases serve a purpose. The “entertainment room” is packed with things to do, so even on a rainy day it would be enjoyable. So cute and quaint. The lake has 4 beaches, and we enjoyed 2 of them (we will have to check out the other two on our next trip). And the host, Joi, was so wonderful to work with. I will definitely go back!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Joi's Lake House. As we pulled up to the property we were greeted by a deer and her two fawns. We knew this was going to be an enjoyable stay at the lake house. Joi provides all the necessary amenities, (toilet paper, paper towels, kitchen supplies, etc.). Plenty of outdoor seating areas to enjoy the view to the lake, the sunrise and sunset. Our grandkids truly enjoyed the music room where we played one of the many games Joi has available for guests. The only downside was for my husband in regard to not having a tv to see the nightly news. For me personally, I enjoyed not having the television. Thus, not interfering with family interaction. If you are looking to get away and enjoy some one-on-one time or family time, don't hesitate to book Joi's Lake house. You will not regret it. Joi - Thank you again for sharing your home with us.

Joi was very exceptional in accommodating us and the nicest host we've ever communicated with during our time spent. This lake house had everything you need. Private backyard, games, gas fire-pit, plenty of outdoor seating to view the wonderful scenery. The interior of the lake house tells a story with all very unique decorations. I would definitely recommend staying here and would do so again if ever in the area. Just a tip here or anywhere near, be cautious of the southern bug chiggers in the outdoor area especially woodsy areas. They bite and itch like none other.
