Nestled in Shenandoah Valley, this charming cabin for $186 per night is a great choice for your next break. This beautiful cabin is calling all nature lovers. Sitting on the bank of the Shenandoah River, you will enjoy hearing the sound of the majestic water roll by throughout the day and evening as you partake in various outdoor activities or simply relax and take in the scenery from the large back deck of the cabin. The cabin is nicely appointed with updates to the kitchen and both bathrooms. Two rooms have queen beds and one bedroom has two full size beds. The large, open family room with river rock stone fireplace (gas) makes for a warm and enjoyable entertainment setting. There is an outdoor pit by the river for cozy "campfires" -- and an outdoor gas grill for cooking. The cabin has been well equipped with all the household necessities -- you just need to remember to pack your own bedroom linens and towels to use because linens are NOT provided. (2 Queen and 2 Full). There is a washer/dryer at the cabin. The town of Luray is less than five miles from the cabin. Luray offers shopping, dining, and entertainment options for the entire family. Luray Caverns is one of the largest and most popular attractions in the Eastern United States -- and, of course, it is hard to beat the Shenandoah Skyline Drive in the Fall. There are a number of local outdoor companies that provide kayak, canoeing, tubing, horseback riding, and many other options. Two ski resorts are within one hour of the cabin. The cabin really is a little oasis away from the hustle-and-bustle of modern life. We hope you might consider visiting us -- and we guarantee you will find something you will enjoy!

We came for a long weekend to get away and went fishing in the river had a fire. The cabin was absolutely gorgeous and we hit the Luray caverns and also went horseback riding. It was a perfect weekend.

We had a great two night New Year's weekend stay at the Rippling River Cabin. The location was perfect, right on the banks of the Shenandoah. The cabin was very comfortable and accommodated our group of 3 couples. It was great having the open great room with the gas fireplace, sofas and a nice big dining table. Great get away!

The sounds of the river flowing and being surrounded by the beauty of nature brings a sweet peaceful feeling. We never left the property....just soaked in the calming beauty of it all. The cabin & property was everything we needed. It was a beautiful holiday week!

Very nice property! The cabin was clean and spacious. The wrap around deck is huge, and makes for some outstanding views of the river and mountain ridges. The firepit is right next to the river, and the rapids make for some very relaxing sounds. I will definitely stay at this cabin again, it was a great weekend. The owners of this property have thought of everything!

We had so much fun during our stay. The location was absolutely beautiful and close to lots of activities. The cabin had everything we needed and it was so cool to be right on the river.

We stayed for 4 days, 3 nights in late October. Perfect jumping off point for hiking. We cooked all of our meals, so appreciated having a kitchen. The place has a wonderful porch and is so serene right along the river, would definitely stay again.

A relaxing stay next to the river. Luray Caverns and skyline drive provided enough activities for two babies. If you have babies, you may have to collect the breakables and I would access the codes before you lose reception in the valley.

The cabin was just as pictured and had lots of space. Kitchen had everything we needed. Loved the area under the raised house--perfect for hanging our hammocks. Spent lots of time in the river and enjoyed the riverside fire ring. And, we were lucky enough to be there for a meteor shower. Short drive to Luray and Shenandoah National Park and all the great hiking there. I've rented riverside cabins in the area a number of times and, while they have all been enjoyable, this one was my favorite.

The house and property exceeded all of our expectations. The house was beautiful, and had more ammenities than we expected. The property was very large and spacious.It was so relaxing to sit by the Shenandoah River....right in the back yard. We could not have wanted any better place to stay in the mountains. This cabin was comfortable, clean, and quiet! We loved that the huge yard had just been freshly mowed, including a nice swath to access the river. The deck provided nice seating to enjoy our morning coffee, while underneath the deck was a shaded area with additional seating including a hammock and swing. Great place for a peaceful family vacation!

Beautiful cabin with many amenities. Easy access to the river with a close float point. The sounds of the river and the birdsong are just magnificent. It is fairly close to two other properties so not incredibly secluded.

We had such a GREAT time. The owners were close by if we needed help , that was a plus. The house and property was so beautiful, one friend that was with us said she slept better there than home. So relaxing listening to the water. One thing that was difficult was ,We are all in our 60’s probably should have chosen a property that had less steps , and closer proximity to the entrance. That being said we figured it out and made it work. We would definitely return , we had a great time. Don’t hesitate to book this property . You won’t be disappointed.

My wife two dogs and I stayed here for three nights and it was such a wonderful place. The river is just in the backyard and a beautiful scene. We saw some awesome birds including a blue heron just sitting in the river right in our backyard. There’s a little fire pit right next to the river which is also really nice to sit at the sun is setting. I even fished just for like 10 (due to not having a lot of time) minutes and caught a nice fish. There are also amazing hiking trails 25 minutes away. Great location and house!

The house was great for a few adults and two dogs. The latter loved the yard with plenty of room to run, sniff, and play. The humans liked that it was located in a quiet spot still within a reasonable drive to food and activities :).

We really enjoyed our stay at Rippling River. The riverside location was amazing, and we had such a wonderful time canoeing, sitting by the riverside fire pit, and playing games outdoors. The cabin was also very comfortable. Highly recommended!

We’ve now stayed here 3 times and this has easily become a tradition for us to stay here during the kids spring break. This property is so well taken care of and the owners are absolutely amazing. So grateful they are willing to share such a beautiful home with the VRBO community, they are amazingly generous. Easy river access, amazing deck views, and the yard is a DREAM. We cannot say enough wonderful things about our stays here. We’ve already booked our next stay! 😍

This was a return trip and it proved as great as the first stay. Convenient to Luray, hikes, and outdoor fun. The property has everything to enjoy the outdoors; grills, fire pit next to river, yard games and deck, as well as very comfortable on the inside. Thanks for another fun time with family!

Our family of 6 had the best weekend getaway at the cabin! It was wonderful to disconnect and get back into nature. Our kiddos (5,5,7,9) had the best time playing imaginary games together by the river, roasted hotdogs and s’mores by the fire, and playing soccer and baSMU ton in the yard. We will be back in the fall!

We enjoyed our say at your warm and cozy cabin. It was so impressively and thoughtfully set up, from night lights , door stopper, kids safe plugins to the tools drawer by the kitchen, etc. I just wish I knew we would need to bring our own towels and bedsheets as coming from out of state, I did not expect that or even thought of bringing those along. Other than that, our family had a great time. Thank you :)

Cabin was just as described. Very cozy and had everything we needed for a great stay. Enjoyed sitting riverside by the fire pit. We had a wonderful time. Location is close to town, which made it easy to pick up groceries or go out to eat. Definitely recommend staying here.
