Situated in Westport, this lovely house for $89 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Cozy Cottage has everything you and your family need for a relaxing getaway, featuring a renovated 3 bedroom/2 bathroom house on a private 0.8 acre wooded lot with a 180 ft. waterfront and a spectacular panoramic view of the cove and lake. It has a well stocked kitchen, dishwasher, washer & dryer, 3 cable flat screen TVs, and Wi Fi internet access. There is a spacious living area and an enclosed porch and a large deck with a gas grill and an extra propane tank. It also features a fire pit, a picnic table, a sand beach, 3 kayaks, an excellent swimming area and a great cove for water skiing, tubing, sailing, boating, and fishing.

Six of us plus two large dogs had a great stay. House had everything you would need to cook a family dinner and relax. 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms- it was perfect!

Although one bathroom is a bit dated, everything else is fine (not fancy). The weather didn’t cooperate for us to enjoy the outdoors much but for anyone wanting a quiet, water frontage property w kayaks and a dock…this is perfect.

Kinda expected it to be a little shabby (towel bar falling off wall, rub rails falling off dock, etc), but was really surprised at how dirty the place was. Sand on the floors and furniture. Two of the made beds were dirty and had sand on the sheets. Pulled a pizza cutter from the drawer that was covered in grease and cheese. Found multiple dirty dishes put away in the cabinet. Found a half eaten granola bar on the floor in one bedroom and a tobacco spit jar under the bed in the other. We got in a little late and spent our first night cleaning just to get the place minimally acceptable for family we had coming the next day. Not how anyone wants to spend a vacation. Another point of real concern was just the rooms designated bedrooms. Two of the three didnt have code compliant egress windows. One was a laundry room with a bed in it. No smoke detectors in any bedrooms, just one in the hall which appeared to be non functional.
I like the location, but couldnt recommend tbe house to anyone.

This little cottage by the lake was just what we needed. The location was awesome and we were able to unload and load our boat at the property. It also had a great place for my grandchildren to swim and play. We also had some family to come and visit one of the nights and they also loved it. My uncle is battling cancer and really doesn't have a lot of strength in his legs right now, but the lot was so perfect that he could walk down to the waters edge and we put a fishing pole in his hands and let him sit there and fish. He has not quit talking about it. All in All we were very satisfied with the house and where it was located. I hope that we can find the time to come back next year.

My family and I celebrated our Dad’s 60th birthday at the cottage and it was perfect for the 4 of us. We brought our fishing boat and the boat ramp is so nice and perfectly located. If you’re wanting to get away and have a cove to yourself this is the place for you! We had such a wonderful time and we will be back soon!

We had a wonderful family weekend at Lake Norman. One person in our group needed a house with easy access and no steps/stairs between the driveway and the house. This home fit our accessibility needs perfectly, and the location was beautiful.

This was our 3rd year booking and while the property needs some maintenance, the view is beautiful and the cove is quiet. We will book again next year

Inside is very dated and the only reason for my rating on cleanliness was actually the bugs inside the home. A lot of drain flies in the kitchen/bath areas and you really couldn’t get rid of them - though there did seem to be some attempts made. Overall a nice stay and would probably stay here again if we go back to the general area.

We are already talking about coming back in the summer for a real R&R vacation.
Host was easy to reach for questions and wonderful to work with.
Cottage was clean and although on the smaller side, the layout and space is very efficiently layed out and provides a sense of comfort.
Would definitely recommend to other guests.

This property is more than it's description. It was the perfect place for my husband and I, our boat, and 2 dogs. Very quiet and secluded. Everything was perfect from the fully stocked house, sandy beachfront, dock, private boat ramp on site, kayaks, fire pit and deck with beautiful views. When visiting Lake Norman, this is the only place we will stay.
