About this house rental
Nestled in Hood Canal, this lovely house for $203 per night is a great choice for your next trip. We are committed to providing you with a clean, pleasant, and hassle free stay. We have invested in quality mattresses, bedding, and pillows for a comfortable night sleep. We have also added some fun tech features in the house like voice controlled lights, Apple Music, and complimentary TV apps. YouTube TV, Disney+, Hulu, and Prime are complimentary. Apple Music is available on Google Home Assistant to play music throughout the house. A Level 2 EV Charger is available in the carport for guests. Heat and AC are controlled through a smart thermostat. The main level of the house features an updated kitchen and a large dining/living area. The primary bedroom and a full bathroom are also located on the main level. The kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances, a Keurig K-Cup coffee maker, and traditional coffee maker. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, silverware, cookware, a toaster, and a blender. The living room and dining area both open to an outdoor deck that wraps around the back of the house. The loft is open to the main level of the house and contains 2 queen beds and a renovated three quarter bathroom with a shower. Bedroom 1 - The primary bedroom is located on the main floor and has been recently renovated in 2023. The primary bedroom includes a queen bed with a down comforter, 48” SMART HDTV, dresser, and closet space. Bedroom 2 (loft) - The second story loft is used as the second bedroom and includes 2 queen beds with down comforters and closet space. The loft is open to the main part of the house. There is also a three quarter bathroom in the loft, which includes a shower. The house is cleaned by a professional cleaning service prior to your stay. Sheets, pillow cases, towels, and wash cloths are freshly laundered for each guest. Hard surfaces are disinfected. A hair dryer, iron, and ironing board are provided. This house includes a washer and dryer for your convenience. Laundry soap and dryer sheets are supplied. You will have access to free high speed WiFi (250Mbps). This house includes a 65" SMART HDTV with a DVD player connected. YouTubeTV, Disney+, Hulu, and Prime are complimentary. Other apps (including Netflix) are available with your own login. Have fun with Google Home Assistant which controls the thermostat and most lights with voice commands (instructions provided). Google Home Assistant can also be used to search for information and play Apple Music in the house. Location - This house is located 1/2 mile from the Alderbrook Clubhouse and 2 miles from the Alderbrook Resort and Spa. All of the homes located on the Alderbrook Golf Course are well maintained and governed by an HOA. This home is located in a quiet golf course community. Activities – Contact the ProShop for a tee time or head down the hill for a relaxing spa day at the Alderbrook Resort. Local groomed hiking trails originate near the clubhouse. Twanoh State Park is a short 10 min drive and contains hiking trails, a boat launch, and beaches. Explore the beauty of the Olympic Mountains at Olympic National Forest. The trails at Staircase are located just 30 miles from Alderbrook. The Hood Canal Marina (with kayak rentals in the summer) and the public boat launch are both located in nearby Union. There are several restaurants in the area. Casual dining is available at the clubhouse restaurant, and upscale dining at the Alderbrook Resort. Whatever brings you to the area we hope you are able to enjoy the local activities and take in the beauty of the Hood Canal and Olympic Mountains.

Was a nice getaway from everyday life for the weekend. I believe a hot tub was advertised initially and there was sadly no hot tub upon arrival. Very enjoyable stay.

House was perfect, very clean, beds were comfy, google controls were so helpful. Patio made the evenings so enjoyable, sitting outside with the fire. Would definitely rent this again. (4 adults with plenty of room to spread out)

Wade and Peter were the best hosts. This home was immaculate, very welcoming and full of hospitality with smart appliances, comfortable beds, great outdoor furniture including a fire table, and a binder full of all the details you might need. Everything we might have needed was provided and labeled so we knew where to find it. The location was perfect. Near Alderbrook and Union and just minutes to paddle board on Hood Canal. Wade was extremely responsive and kind. Will definitely look for opportunities to stay again!

We enjoyed our stay and will book again next summer. The house is cozy, comfortable, and clean. We particularly loved being able to sit out on the deck in the evenings and mornings, surrounded by the beautiful trees and golf course. This is a great location to explore the surrounding Hood Canal area. Highly recommend this host and house.

This place was so Clean, Organized & Quiet. Loved the labeling, didnt have to search for stuff. Very, techy. Impressive. Owners have thought that through nicely. I'm a total tech bone head & I managed it, ok.
Very comfortable & accomidating. Communication with the host, was quick, efficent & gracious. Extended my stay & not complicated at all. Very Private & Unobtrusive.
Next time in the area, I WILL book here again.
If I were to be constructive, The Bedroom needs a Mirror.

We could not have been happier with our stay. As others have mentioned, it was spotless, allowing us to just relax, and the Google home was fun. We enjoyed using the fireplace every night as we played games we had brought and watched movies. We looked for a place we could stay for Spring Break where, in comfort, we could read books, play games, do puzzles, have naps, watch movies, and go for hikes. Wade’s place was perfect for all of that. The view out back was beautiful and peaceful, and we enjoyed the nearby driving range, walks around the community and the close by hikes. Communication with Wade was excellent and greatly appreciated. Would definitely stay again! Thank you, Wade!

Very clean, well appointed, bright and airy. One private bedroom with queen bed and a loft with 2 queen beds. Bathroom on each floor. Washer and dryer with complimentary detergent. Very light traffic. Beautiful hiking trails a half mile away. We stayed 9 days and would definitely stay here again. Everything we needed was provided. There were neighbors on both sides but the lot is so large with so much foliage we barely noticed them.

This adorable A-frame is perfect for a getaway. The home is comfortable, clean, and has everything you need for a short or long stay. The Internet/Cable made it perfect for an extended WFH getaway. The Host, Wade, is very responsive and helpful before, during and after the stay. I highly recommend this place!

The kitchen was well-stocked and everything was as advertised. The golf course setting was nice and it was a great neighborhood.
The location was great for us to make day trips to Olympic National Park and the Pacific ocean. We didn't have time to make it golfing, but it looks like a great course. There were also nice hiking trails and some state parks on the beach that were close. It is a welcome change from the heat of Arizona.
We would definitely stay here again. The host really knows how to set up a welcome rental.

Stayed here back in Jan and this trip was even better since we were familiar with the property. We had great weather and we enjoyed golf, hiking, walking and Mother's Day together. Great location watching the golfers and wild life. Look forward to returning.

Fantastic Family Get-away!
The home owner was very easy to work with and super responsive. This house is well appointed, clean, quiet street...just a lovely home and a perfect get-away spot for me and my two grandkids. I will absolutely be going back and will bring more of the family next time as there is plenty of room in this spacious house!

We had an AMAZING stay and were all very impressed with the property, amenities, cleanliness, and how organized the home was. Perfect little getaway near tons of hiking spots and the best local offerings.
