About this house rental
Located in Woodstock, this charming house for $299 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. There is no other resort like Deer Park. It is the only vacation spot with a pool, beach with lake, and river within the resort in the area. Our townhome is clean, beautifully decorated, and ready to welcome you. It features a fully stocked kitchen, a large open concept living area and dining area and a large private deck with seating. Each of the bedrooms has ceiling fans and its own bathroom and there is a third bathroom on the living level. There is a queen bed in the master and a bunk bed and a queen bed in the second bedroom. You won't want to leave! The Rec Center includes a huge 1500 sq ft. indoor pool , fitness center, Jacuzzi, saunas, racquetball court, video arcade and game room. Outdoor activity includes 8 tennis courts, jogging trails, basketball and volleyball courts and a 5 acre lake with it's own private sandy beach for only Deer Park residents and their guests. The river is steps away for swimming and river tubing! You will be walking distance to North Woodstock and Lincoln. Very close to all White Mountain attractions including Whale's Tale Water Park, Clark's Trading Post, mini-golf, Cannon and Loon Mtn., Story Land. An outdoor enthusiast's paradise with the White Mountains at your doorstep. Wireless Internet Is Included in the home, not just in the rec center as in most cases. There is a 42 inch HD Smart T.V in the living area and Master, and a gaming compatible TV in the kids room. All linens and towels (excluding beach towels) are included. Washer and dryer are in a laundry room off the first floor. We hope your stay here in the Mountains is as perfect and enjoyable as possible and you leave with wonderful memories!

Nine months after FULL payment was made, I was told price increased $300 and payment of this $300 was due immediately. Having planned this vacation with family for almost a year, I paid the extra $300 so as not to be cancelled ( with no other options so close to arrival date) and disappoint the family. I cannot believe VRBO allows this deceptive price practice.
Advertised swimming pool amenity was closed for our whole stay as well.
Upon arrival we found dirty and stained towels, dirty showers and many cobwebs. Bed comforters also looked dirty.

We had a great time floating around the lake or exploring Loon Mountain during the day and having a lot of laughs while playing games in the condo at night. We had 3 adult couples staying in the condo, us and our adult children with their partners. Plus we had another 5 friends that stayed in the same complex join us for dinner and games and we had plenty of room. Thank you for a great weekend getaway!

Deer Park has always been great for a family getaway. Plenty for my teenagers to do and I don’t have to provide transportation because it’s easily accessible by foot or bicycle. And a relaxing place for a parent.

My kids were bummed the pool and jacuzzi was under construction( would of been nice to know ahead of time) But we were happy with the private little beaches on site. We got plenty of River access near the site! The home had everything to accommodate my family with kids .

We enjoyed our stay at Deer Park but this unit needed some TLC. The remodeled kitchen was beautiful, but the rest of the unit needed cleaning and updating. Cobwebs in the lights, downstair bathroom needed complete TLC.
The upstairs bunk bed was in such disrepair that my grandchild was afraid to sleep in the upper bunk. The bunk leaned away from the wall about 6 inches. The lower bunk had upper mattress parts hanging down.
The heating instructions of only using one heater in the dining area made the unit feel very cold in the downstairs bedroom and very warm upstairs.
Although we enjoyed the resort and amenities, this unit could use some care from the owners.

This fantastic property at Deer Park was our "Home Base" for our three day tour of the amazing foliage and great restaurants in New Hampshire. We could not have asked for better accommodations!

House is exactly as described! Was alittle hot with no A/C but opening the windows helped a ton. My only complaint was the house was very very dusty. All light fixtures had cob webs and dust and under the tables had dirt and food. Our family loves the area and the space is amazing, plenty of room to sleep, lounge and fully stocked with everything a family could need!

Very nice condo, has everything you need and very comfy beds. This is our 3rd year at Deer Park and the nicest condo so far! The kids love the lake, pool and especially tubing in the river - unfortunately the hot tub has been down our last two stays, not sure why; we’ll be back!

Summertime in the White Mountains
This property was exactly as described in the listing. It was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. My kids loved the house! Stephanie was always very quick to reply to my messages. It was our first time using VRBO and we had a great experience. The lake was a five minute walk from the house, which for us was perfectly fine. We were a little worried about no air conditioning but it always cooled down at night so it was comfortable to sleep in and we spent all day exploring the area.

Deer Park Resort Repeat Family of 4
Clean unit with plenty of space for our family. Nice and quiet location that is between the lake and the Cascade rapids. The grill was unusable, so we needed to use the community grills under the covered section by the rec. center each night.
This is our 3rd year staying as a family at the resort but not in this unit. Our family would have rated this condo a 5 star all around if it had air conditioning. Unfortunately, we had to cut our stay short due to the fact that it was far too hot and uncomfortable for sleeping.

Great Resort, Good Accommodations
We really wanted to stay in Deer Park after visiting family friends there last year. I loved the layout of the condo, with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. We had a lovely stay overall, but there were things we wish we knew, see below.
Pro:
Newer kitchen appliances
Well-stocked kitchen (with older pots/pan which is typical of a rental)
Mudroom
large cozy couch
Modern, easy to use TVs
Cons:
Old mattresses with memory foam toppers: (1) you could feel every move on the master mattress, (2) the lower bunk bed was unusable because the thick mattress and topper left no room for sleeping.
The sheets were soft, but too small for the mattress and topper
No AC, which was challenging in the hot weather. The house has some big beautiful windows without shades that boil the bedrooms.
Minor maintenance issues: slow drain in master bath, broken TP holder, etc.
No house manual or instructions on what deer park offers and how to use the rec center.

Great place, great location
My family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It is a great place with lots of amenities in the community. There are great restaurants nearby and lots of things to do. The Flume Gorge is definitely worth visiting and only about a 10 minute drive. We would definitely stay here again.

Another great stay at this Deer Park townhouse!
This was actually our second time staying in Stephanie's townhouse. We bookended our stays, one long weekend in the beginning of the summer and one at the end. Both times were great! If you're looking for a cozy, clean, comfortable, and deceptively spacious townhouse for your family, this is an excellent choice. As I mentioned, we took our kids their twice in a few month time span. We've stayed at Deer Park before and the complex and property are well-maintained, great pool and small arcade for the kids. The home itself was perfect, large kitchen, a cabin feel but with modern ammenities, bunk beds and a full size for the kids. A large bedroom for the adults, and both bedrooms had full bathrooms. And there's a full bath on the first floor as well, along with a laundry room. Really everything you need. Stephanie is a great host, very friendly and informative, and she provides you with everything you need (including a list of activities) to know to enjoy your trip. The home is right next to I-93 but you never hear the highway at all from the complex. Lincoln is a fantastic, quaint town with excellent food options, outlet stores, movie theater, breweries, and of course Loon Mountain. It's within good driving distance to many White Mountain attractions like Franconia Notch, Storyland, North Conway, and of course the White Mountains themselves. Even right in town, you can take a gondola ride to the top of Loon Mountain. And the area has all the hiking trails you could want, and good fishing spots too. We love the area, the kids love it, and we definitely plan to stay here again!

Very roomy condo for our stay. The place was clean and it was super convenient for walking to N Woodstock or Lincoln. The river is a short walk from this unit, as well as the lake and rec center. The location is very central for local sightseeing and hiking at many of the local state and national forest parks and trailheads in the White Mountains. Communication with Stephanie was quick and easy.
There is a grill on the back porch which was nice to have for cooking outside on the sweltering hot days we had. We must’ve “fixed it” as all we did was buy a new tank of propane :) There isn’t any air conditioning but this is typical for northern condos and homes but you may want to keep in mind if renting during the warm months. There is a fireplace which would be great in the fall or winter. Would be a great getaway for skiing the local ski mountains.
