Situated in Prince Edward County, this lovely house for $254 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Welcome to Saltwater Melody Executive Beach House. Prince Edward Island’s newest executive beach house is located in the heart of the island in New London. We are located just minutes from beautiful Cavendish and all that PEI has to offer; spectacular beaches, world class golf, fine dining and culinary adventure, live music, family attractions, trails, water sport, and all things Anne. Construction of this executive beach house was completed in spring 2017. The 1,900 square foot two story home offers panoramic water views and spacious accommodations for your getaway. Almost every room in the house has an exceptional view of the bay. The beach house is situated on a one acre lot with mature trees and a beautifully landscaped lawn. The outdoor fire pit area, with spacious seating, is the perfect place to be during summer evenings. The beach house has a wraparound veranda fully equipped with a Weber bbq, patio table, and plenty of chairs for relaxing and enjoying the view. The upstairs deck, off the master bedroom, is the perfect location to sit back and enjoy the spectacular PEI sunset over the water or get up early in the morning to see the fishing boats off in the distance. This brand new house features an open concept gourmet kitchen, which looks out past the living and dining area onto the water. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you'll need for a full course dinner, clambake or cookout. It is perfect for entertaining! Stunning hardwood floors are laid throughout the house and there is a gas fireplace for those cozy evenings. Saltwater Melody has three bedrooms and sleeps six people. The impressive master bedroom showcases a king size bed, two large closets, an en suite bathroom, private seating area with a fireplace and a private balcony with an exceptional view. The second bedroom has two twin beds and a large closet. The third bedroom has one queen bed with a large closet. Each bedroom features a fantastic view of the water. This tastefully designed home has three bathrooms. The en suite bathroom features a large soaker tub and tiled shower and the main bathroom features a custom walk in shower. There is also a powder room and separate laundry room with a washer and dryer downstairs. Wash off the sand and salt in the custom outdoor shower after an afternoon on the beach. The tranquil waters around the home are frequented by pleasure motor crafts, fishing boats, canoes and kayaks. There is an oyster lease in front of our property so if you see our friendly fishermen, wave them down and you may be able to buy some oysters fresh off the boat! Head down to the beach to construct a sandcastle, enjoy an evening stroll while the sun sets, build a bonfire or just relax. We have a shore beach in front of the property where you can walk quite a distance and see our red sandstone cliffs, shells, and many birds when the tide is out. During low tide you can also dig some clams for a PEI clambake. Spend some time beach combing for shells, sea glass and unique rocks or just losing yourself in this serene place. Lots to see and do around here! Awaiting your arrival will be a welcome gift basket of PEI treats. We provide a beach pass for all 3 National Park beaches which are all very close. The Melody Beach House was the ideal landing spot for our stay on the island. When we arrived, Jen, kindly had offerings of welcome gifts - soap, cookies and beverages. So unexpected, and yet, so thoughtful.
The house is close proximity to several attractions on the island - Thunder Cove and Cavendish Beach, Burlington Go-Karts, Sand Spit, Shining Waters, Island Hill Farms and it’s a short drive to Charlottetown (approx. 40 mins). It is also close to great eats and treats. If you’re a foodie, you must try the Slaymaker and Blue Mussel Cafe. They are a “you must eat here” 👌.
In those quiet not so touristy days we combed the beach, sat by the fire , played board games and enjoyed our morning coffee on the veranda watching the sunrise over the ocean while reading a book.
It’s like home away from home. The Melody house does NOT disappoint. My only disappointment is that we couldn’t stay longer.

This house did not disappoint. A beautiful, yet comfortable home that perfectly met our needs for for a peaceful respite. Jenn is such a thoughtful host and stocked our kitchen with pastries from the local bakery. We would be happy to return here!

The house was wonderfully appointed and furnished. We had everything we needed. A very peaceful property on a quiet road with a lovely view. The beds were so very comfortable and the breeze on the covered porch was just perfect for sitting out with a book. A short drive away from anything you could need or want to discover, the location was ideal. The owner was fantastic and very communicative. We were greeted with delightful local treats and felt right at home. I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else!

If I could give 6 stars I would. Property was amazing. Pictures were the same as property. Great yard - close to everything. Family had an amazing time. Definitely would rebook. Communication was excellent too! The best experience!

We chose to visit PEI to visit its beautiful coastline and bicycle it's trails. Jenn was a great host who provided us with info about places to go and restaurants to visit. Every day we explored a different area and enjoyed the beauty that surrounded us. Added bonuses were the lupines that were in bloom right on the property, sunrises, and sunsets. This was a great central location that I highly recommend.

From the moment we found Saltwater Melody Jenn was an amazing host! The location is perfect for spending time on the island. Jenn has thought of everything to make this a home away from home - well stocked kitchen, boardgames, and even lego and colouring books. We even arrived to a lovely welcome gift which included a pass to visit the national park. We loved our time at Saltwater Melody and can’t wait to return.

You will not be disappointed choosing this house for a getaway. It was the perfect place to stay for the last few nights of our Maritime adventure trip. The house is prefectly situated on a beautiful property that feels a million miles from the stresses on the world while being close to everything you need.
Jenn is a fantastic host who is super responsive and has thought of everything to make your stay perfect. We especially loved the thoughtful local welcome gifts and recommendations on local restaurants.

Saltwater Melody instantly felt like home for us. The kitchen has everything needed for dining in. The beds are comfortable. Each room is beautifully decorated. The view of the bay is serene. The location is ideal for all of those day trips. And there were so many extras, the yummy scones upon arrival, games to play on those wet, windy days, books to read by the fireplaces, and our sons were thrilled to find legos! I want to return again and again. Great communication and warm hospitality. All the stars!

In fact, even better, due to its location and amazing views. This was our 3rd trip to PEI and this home made it extra special. Our biggest decisions for every day were: Which beach do we go to and where do we eat. New London area is very well located to everything. Just spent another glorious week on PEI. This home couldn’t be any more perfect. Jennifer has thought of everything and is the most gracious host you could ever ask for. The house is just pristine and so, so comfortable. You know you’ve found paradise when your 6 year old declares it “even better than Disneyworld.” PEI and Saltwater Melody are just magical.

Exceptional !
Our family of 6 had a fantastic stay at this property late June. The house itself was extremely clean, well stocked with cleaning supplies, linens, towels, etc. The kitchen was well stocked with quality dishes/ glasses/ pots/ pans - everything we needed to cook as if we were at home! Very well decorated with comfortable furniture and beds. The large and beautiful property was a highlight. Plenty of room for the kids to run around, fly kites, and have camp fires. Just a 1 minute walk down a quiet red-dirt road to a a shore packed full of delicious soft-shell clams ready to dig up when the the tide is out :) The location couldn’t have been better. It was a very short drive to the breathtaking PEI national park with numerous beaches and lookouts. Don’t miss the incredible views and birds nesting by Cape Tyron lighthouse. Sand-spit amusement park was also a lot of fun for the family. Communication with the host Jennifer was very good. She was very responsive and even found us some baby gear (pack’n play and highchair) which was super helpful. We are looking to come back next summer :)

We appreciated Jenn sharing her lovely property. The house was impeccably clean and thoughtfully decorated with comfortable furniture and island theme. It was so peaceful. We especially enjoyed taking advantage of the wrap around veranda with surrounding beautiful vistas.
All the amenities were provided for a very relaxing stay. The sweeping views from the master bedroom were wonderful and the bed so comfortable. We don’t think we’ve ever had a shower with a better view.
We enjoyed walking along the shore of the bay out front at low tide.
Perfectly located for enjoying the multitude of nearby beaches, restaurants and attractions.
The National Park pass that was provided was a nice perk and well used.
We would highly recommend this property to others!

Beautiful, clean, spacious
We had a wonderful stay, close to Stanley Bridge and Cavendish, but out of the hubbub ... view was beautiful, close to a beach but not great for long walks ... more for digging, clams or oysters I think. Beautiful cottage, very well stocked with anything you need and VERY comfortable and spacious. Would go again for sure.
