About this house rental
Situated in Invermere, this attractive house for $88 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Escape to this home away from home and experience great views of the Purcell and Rocky Mountains whilst being less than a 5 minute drive to Invermere’s downtown, beaches, and two championship golf courses (Copper Point and Eagle Ranch)! A two km walk down Walker Lane takes you to your own private beach. The main level has a fully equipped kitchen with microwave and dishwasher. There is a front and back deck with patio furniture from which, you have magnificent views of a forest and a backdrop of the Rocky Mountains. The kitchen leads into an open living area with lots of seating, including a sofa bed, and a half bathroom is situated off this living space. There is a smart TV but no cable access. There are three bedrooms on the upper level; the master bedroom has a king bed with spectacular valley and mountain view, an en-suite with double shower and bath with huge view window. The second bedroom has two single beds, and the third bedroom is has a queen bed. These two bedrooms share another four-piece bathroom. There is a separate suite in the basement, which is not part of the VRBO rental and is used an an Owners suite. The suite is not always occupied as it is based on the owners schedule. All linens, towels, paper and soap products are included. All you need to bring is your food! Inveremere has something for everyone; boutique shops, coffee shops, bakery, farmer's market, quaint cinema, art galleries, spas, museum, supermarkets, deli, to name a few. There are lots of events going on throughout the year, as this area is a four season paradise! Beautiful Lake Windermere has beaches with water sports, and the area has fabulous golf courses, including Grey Wolf at Panorama. Then of course there are the hot springs at Fairmont and Radium, to be enjoyed whatever the season. Skiing/snowboarding at Panorama, Kicking Horse, Sunshine and Lake Louise. Keep an eye out for the wildlife, deer and lots of bird species are regular visitors here! Please note this is a mountain retreat and family home and is not approved for parties or large adult groups. Children and dogs are welcome.. Unfortunately cats are not allowed due to the owner severe allergies. As there is an owners suite in the basement, we have quite time between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM to ensure everyone enjoys the weekend. Also please note this is a Non Smoking Property. This means there is no smoking allowed in the house or on the property. The property is not available for long term bookings as we often use the entire house for family get togethers. This house had everything we needed for our family on our ski vacation. My only concerns were the thermostat was set so low upon arrival that we were freezing for the first night and although the main areas of the house were clean, there was a great amount of dog hair and dust that were noticeably unattended to.

Overall we enjoyed our stay and would consider coming back for future stays.

This is a wonderful getaway spot with plenty of room to share with other people. The A/C took a couple days to get the house to the low 70s, but it got cooler in the evenings. It is in a great location that is about five minutes from downtown Invermere.

Our 2 storey VRBO accommodation was well appointed with most everything one would need for a great vacation. Initially we thought our in-laws would come with us; they would have had their own bedroom and bath as this house could accommodate 6-7 people.
We brought our Mini Schnauzer on this holiday with her own travel kennel, but the house had a huge kennel for pets. Convenient field right behind the residence to take her for quick breaks.
Very neat and tidy - obviously well looked after. We appreciated the binder with "house rules" and suggestions for what do do in the area.

Stayed here with my sisters and our 2 dogs and it was the perfect getaway. Very dog friendly with a big green space right in there backyard and a lovely walk to the lake.

We really enjoyed our stay in this comfortable home. The minute you walk in you feel comfortable - great layout, comfortable furniture, and a kitchen stocked with everything you need to make your meals. Comfortable bedrooms, clean bathrooms, lots of space. And the hosts were quick to respond to questions. The walking trails right next to the house were handy with our dogs. We will stay here again!

Very nice home in a nice area. Best part was the view to the snowy field in the back where everyone in the neighborhood would walk their pups. Would have been perfect if it was better equipped with things like coffee, cooking oil, and salt and a snow shovel for the icy front steps. There were also a bunch of extra fees.

We had a great stay in Invermere at this VRBO! It was extremely well equipped with kitchen items, linens, etc., and had plenty of space for a family. The host was very responsive and friendly. It is a great property for a quiet family getaway!

I have a very mixed review on our stay and don’t think I would stay there again. While the property was great the hosts were very rigid and I felt like there were extra charges for everything. While we were still in the free cancelation date range we wanted to reduce our stay by one day as we had unexpected guests from England and they wouldn't let us reduce so we paid for a night we could not use the property. As apparently to adjust the booking requires the approval of the hosts. We had 6 people in our group and despite the house sleeping 6 we were charged an additional $350 for the 6th person. There was also a $150 pet fee which was not listed on the original listing. Then after we left the housekeeper found a tear in the quilt cover on the daybed in the living room (which we don’t think we caused but because we didn’t report it within the first hour of our checking in it is our responsibility according the house rules ) and the amount they charged us for replacement I think was double what it was worth. I tried to appeal that to VRBO and haven’t gotten anywhere yet.

A beautiful house in a quiet neighbourhood with a great view of mountains. The hosts were quite easy to communicate with and fair when it came to a bit of a booking mistake I made, and I appreciate that. Unfortunately, I did not check the bed before flopping into it, tired. It had grit and hair some of which could be seen on pictures. The sheet on one side of the bed had been flattened and wrinkled as if someone slept there. There was grit and some hair in the tub we never used. Hosts reported a deep clean had recently been done but dust was also apparent. I could live with the dust but the sheets were upsetting. The place was otherwise tidy, kitchen clean, and the place was spacious.

Had a great stay in the valley for a family event. The owners were flexible to my family’s needs and communicated quickly when we had a minor inconvenience (hot water tank hadn’t been turned on). The house was cute and comfortable, great for hosting several members of my family. The house did run hot - we had to sleep with the fans on, windows open. Couldn’t quite figure out the AC but we made the best of it. Check in and out process was easy. Would stay again.

The property is excellent for a quick getaway . Nestled right next to a trail on the mountainside it’s cool and well equipped. Its not next to the lake in any way but is a well equipped and nice place . Wish we had stayed a couple of more nights but maybe next time. Would rent again .

Family getaway
Bettywyn and Tom have a lovely home. It was the perfect size for our family, everyone had a room. I liked that one of the rooms had 2 twin beds. My kids enjoyed lounging on the daybed in the living room. The big, comfortable chair in the master bedroom was a nice touch, I loved sitting in it and looking at the beautiful view. All of the linens were clean and luxurious. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and more. My husband and I loved sitting on the chairs on the back deck while having our morning coffee, the neighbors were friendly and said hello. I would definitely recommend this house, we will stay here again.
My only negative is I wish it was closer to the lake. We did try to find the private beach that they spoke about in the ad but seemed to end up on a dead end road. I'm not sure if went to the right location.

Comfortable home to bring our family of adults together. Plenty of space to spread out and come together again. Lovely view of the mountains from the deck. I found the info binder very helpful. I didn’t need to bother the owners for anything.
