The Silverlake area is a great place to spend a week or a weekend. We are located at the gateway to Mount St. Helens - about an hour's drive from Portland, Oregon and Olympia, Washington, and just just a few miles off of Interstate Five.
This area is the perfect start from which to explore the many different areas of Mount St. Helens with trails and visitor centers or to fish for Bass on Silverlake.

I mainly was looking for a place so I could cook. I was able to function well and cooked about 8 meals there. I appreciated the space heaters, comfy bed, all the cute funny decor of bears and elk, fun!

We loved our 2 night stay in the cozy cabin. The fireplace was great to have after long days in the wind, rain and hail.
