Bought steaks at Betty's to grill but could not grill properly, The burners are rusted out so couldn't sear steaks or cook evenly. The wooden dowel that holds shower curtain fell on 7 year old granddaughters head and oh the drama. And I think the smoke detector in bed room may not work it's hanging from the wall. But all in all we enjoyed our stay.

The cabin was nice but was filthy. I do t think the sheets were even clean. Not enough towels or kitchen towels either. Ac and heat very confusing. Hot tub was nice

Tad was always quick and courteous with responses, so we felt very taken care of. I appreciated how close the cabin was to downtown Helen while also feeling secluded in the woods. When we weren't out being tourists, we watched movies, played dominoes, and sat in the hot tub!

Everything was great. The shower was too small an wasn’t able to use bedroom due to no AC in every room and it was too hot. The owner was awesome. Great with communicating and all of are needs.

The cabin was exactly what we wanted. The only downside was the dishes were not clean. They didn’t have anything to clean the dishes with so we had to go buy some dishes to use. Pulled out 2 plate and they were dirty. They need to add dish soap and something to clean the dishes with. Was told to put dishes up after cleaning them. I think everyone is just putting back dirty dishes

My daughter, my niece and I took a weekend getaway to visit Helen, GA. I found this adorable cabin on VRBO. The location was so convenient to the village! It was clean and comfortable. The porch with the rocking chairs was great for morning coffee. The fire pit was also a bonus as the temperature dipped into the low 40s at night. I would definitely recommend this cabin to any parties of 4 or less who plan to visit Helen!!

Everything was as described in listing. The host responded to any questions I had before and during our stay. It was a beautiful living town, we enjoyed all the things. We will definitely make this a yearly trip.

We were booked to stay 4 nights and the price was just under $1K after taxes and fees. For that amount of money, you might expect a bit of hospitality or an extra or two. There were none. The cabin seemed about as sparse as they could get away with. The couch was old and musty and the pull out bed was so bad it gave my 21 year old son a daily backache. There were a few towels and washcloths, but no way was that going to get us through 4 days. No icemaker. A partial roll of cheap paper towels. The few things that were included in the kitchen clearly came from the "dollar only" store. Very uninviting. Kind of like what you might get at a motel or cheap hotel. The host was about the least inviting individual I've interacted with on one of these sites. Although he never asked if we needed anything or welcomed us, he was sure to request that 2nd payment a couple of days before it was due! And he was super quick to send a fine for our little dog apparently pooping on a welcome mat (we didn't see it somehow, but he sent a nice pic) and another for putting trash in the outside can without a bag (?-we are allowed to do that in our area). Of course I apologized and agreed without hesitation to pay, but he sent the payment request at 5pm on the day of our checkout and then TEXTED ME AT 6:45am THE NEXT DAY to prompt me to pay it "asap." While I can understand the fee, there's definitely a better way of communicating when your role is as a "host." We were so underwhelmed during our stay that we actually ended up leaving after 2 days and never looked back. He didn't know that. Based on the experience and the "amenities," this should have been priced more in the $60-70 range. Location is all it has going for it and that's not enough.

The house was clean, cute, comfortable, convenient and still private and in the woods. The kitchen had everything we needed. There was a fire pit with some wood to use and a hot tub that we didn’t use - the weather was a little too cold. We enjoyed the gas fireplace in the cabin. We enjoyed visiting the town of Helen and riding the roller coaster. Thanks for letting us stay in your cabin!
