We had a wonderful time sitting around the Bonfire and walking down to the river where we saw a family of River Otters.

This rental worked out well for our annual family fall weekend with our adult children and their spouses. The house is in a beautiful and peaceful wooded setting. We had great weather so we enjoyed the amenities of the hot tub, fire pit, and screened in porch. The steps to the kitchen and bathrooms were a bit of a challenge with a sprained knee. Easy to communicate with Virginia. Thank you.

The cabin exceeded my expectations. Very clean. Lots if space. Enjoyed being able to connect with nature. Our dog Quincy, was very comfy staying there. Virginia was very easy to connect with and privided great tips and suggestions.
Can't wait to return.

Virginia's place had everything we needed to thoroughly enjoy the outdoors and also had lots of space to take shelter when it rained. A short walk puts you at the river's edge, and a short drive gets you to all that Cook's forest has to offer. Cousin Basil's restaurant is close and has great food, but if you feel like cooking the kitchen has very nice appliances and all the cookware you would need. All of the indoor spaces were very comfortable and the place was welcoming and clean. We had a wonderful stay!

Clear Creek Cottage was located in a pleasant wooded area close to Cook Forest State Park and Clear Creek State Park. The Clarion River goes right through the backyard! The cottage was clean and all the amenities were in good working order.

This place was absolutely wonderful! Located right on the Clarion river, you couldn't ask for a better location. The cottage was clean, easy check in and check out and the owner was easy to communicate with. We will be back for another stay in the future! Thanks for helping us make some great memories together as a family!!!

House was very clean and spacious. It was in a great location and allowed access to several different areas. Inside and outside areas were great for relaxing. Great communication with owner. The long weekend just wasn't long enough!

This place was like staying at the home of good friends. Everything was comfortable and clean and we just settled right in. Very convenient to Cook Forest activities but also a nice drive away. Stargazing was amazing around our campfire. Short walk to the river. Our host was so accommodating and available for suggestions or just to chat anytime. Would definitely recommend the cottage and the location and can’t wait to return! Thanks so much for having us.

Really enjoyed our time at the cabin. It's hard to find someplace big enough for our crew,and our pups. The big test was the beds. This was the first time everyone was satisfied with the comfort of the beds. If I could suggest one thing, it would be to add some sort of stairs from the woods to the river. But, it was very convenient to be able to put our kayaks in the river right from your lovely property. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Perfect getaway for a family and pets to enjoy the river from the back yard...take hikes..and relax in the hot tub. The house was fully stocked with all necessities and so cozy. Really enjoyed ourselves and hope make this a yearly tradition!

We had the impression that the water access was close to back yard. It is just a quick jaunt down to the water, and the bank is steep to get down to the water.

We really enjoyed this home! It was peaceful, quiet, safe, and comfortable. The hot tub was amazing and the screened-in porch is a fantastic place to relax! We highly recommend this home and would love to stay there again sometime!! 😊

This is the third time we have stayed at this amazing property and it never disappoints! New updates have been done each time we stayed to include the bathroom and now the kitchen (which looks great). Hope to return! Really enjoyed our day down at the river.

The place was roomy and clean, newly done kitchen. Plenty of room for the dogs to run and play. The screened in porch was completely lovely, a little cold on one day to be out but that’s Western PA and Easter.
Hostess was very nice and communication was great. We would absolutely stay here anytime of year.

We had a wonderful mid-winter visit at this beautiful home and property! The house and property were perfect - exactly as described and communicating with Ginny was a pleasure. We loved hanging in the hottub with the snow falling as we looked out at the woods. There's a very nice walk/path from the house, through the woods to the river. We're hoping to come back this summer to kayak. Highly recommend Ginny and her property!

We had a great time at the clear creek cottage. It was so cozy & the hot tub was an added treat. The cottage was very comfortable & accommodating. Looking at the stars was beautiful especially since living in the city we don’t get to see a star filled sky very often. The peace & quiet was wonderful!
