About this house rental

Located in Rotorua, this lovely house for $255 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. This property is a completely renovated Lockwood in an idyllic setting, close to the City, airport and Okere Falls store. Lovely gardens, open space and lots of flowers most of the year. Plenty of space for cars and boats. Great for just a few people or a larger group. Only known Orange grove in Rotorua, pick your own for fresh orange juice in the morning. Parking for several cars close to the house and bike storage in under cover facility. Indoor and outdoor fire place a real feature. Great for enjoying a great evening on the deck, watch the stars and enjoy, recharge. Of course Rotorua offers all you can think of in outdoor pursuits with mountain biking one of the very popular activities in the famous Redwoods Forest. Hot pools and the new Eat Streat are very popular destinations. And when its time to relax Woodberry Farm Homestead is just the place to do just that! Two fires inside and electric floor heating to ensure total warmth while staying. For larger groups, we can open up the detached studio unit which has it's own Kitchenette and bathroom with double wet shower. The studio unit has an Ikea pull out bed (King) review example: We stayed in The Homestead and we had such a wonderful time there. The house was very tidy and clean. It had lots of cool furniture and decor which made it feel very homely. The kitchen had everything we needed, although we really only cooked breakfasts as we were out during the day for meals. The kids loved the bunk room, always a treat to sleep on bunk beds when you don't have them at home. The grounds are fabulous and it was so nice to be able to go for a stroll around the garden and for the kids to play and explore outside in all the open spaces. Lighting the indoor fires warmed the house up beautifully and made it so warm and cosy. The outdoor fire was also a real hit, toasted marshmallows was on the menu one evening for dessert. And I particularly loved the orange grove where we picked oranges each day to squeeze for beautiful fresh orange juice drinks. I would highly recommend this accommodation for anyone wanting to explore all that Rotorua has to offer, but enjoys quiet farm like surroundings for relaxing in after a busy day. We certainly hope to return again some day. Special conditions: Additional accommodation on same property ( 2.5 ha) "The Studio "is self contained with very large double shower space and kitchenette as well as its own access direct or indirect to the homestead. Ideal for a group of mountain bikers. "The Cottage and pod" for additional space on the same property.(4) "The Hub" this sleeps 8 and is 50 meters walking on the same property Total property can sleep 9 in Homestead, 4 in Cottage and Pod and 2 adults in Studio plus 2 kids ( on mezzanine floor in studio). and 8 in "the Hub" Extras: Cleaning (Required, NZ$125.00 per stay); Linen (Optional, NZ$12.50 per person);

This place exceedex our expectations. It is very well appointed in a quiet rural location with a supermarket just 5mins away. We enjoyed the relaxing environment with nest decking and alot od indoor/outdoor flow. Beds were comfortable and the kids liked the bunks. Thank you Harmen & Barbara.

Really nicely stocked place, out of town enough to be quite but close enough to be handy. Plenty of room and a very nice place to stay. Great base for spending a good amount of time in Rotorua. Hosts were great, and check in was easy. Will definitely use again next time a crown of us invade Rotorua. Excellent for large groups.

Very well set up property with all that you need for some time away from the city. Peaceful rural location but also very accessible to many other activities and the lakes. Plenty of space to keep some under 5's entertained and great comms with the owners. Definitely would recommend a stay!

Family had a great stay here. Chilly mornings and evenings warmed up by the fire. Wonderful spot for larger family gatherings as well, even loved the visiting Springer and pointer. Made our stay in RotoVegas super awesome.

A superb place

We normally go for coastal locations or lake side locations but because of demand we couldn’t find anywhere. Lucky us. This was one of the best places we have stayed at - clean, interesting, quiet, calm but with everything you need, including an awesome outside fire and eating area. Thanks for your hospitality. Will definitely be back next time we come to Rotorua.

This home is very comfortable & well equipped. The grounds are gorgeous & it was so homey and relaxing. We stayed for two nights & I can honestly say that I wish we were there much longer. I would highly recommend this home! Thank you so much for sharing it with us.

We had a great stay, the property had so much to do and is an excellent place for kids. The only thing that we would pass on is that the trees and hedges need to really be trimmed back as we found it very difficult to get our boat in. Would go back without hesitation
