Located in Salida, this attractive house for $422 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Welcome to Riverside Hacienda! Nestled in the banks of the Arkansas River, this spacious and private riverfront oasis is just what you need for your vacation 'base camp'. Located in the ♥️ of downtown Salida, you will be just footsteps away from all of the best things this city has to offer. From river fun, kayaking, rafting, tubing, fishing, hiking, biking, to shopping, galleries, coffee shops, sampling local eats and brews and enjoying live music, to skiing at Monarch (only 25 minutes away), ice skating, snowmobiling, and so much more. Play hard all day, then come home and relax, sip on your favorite beverage while soaking in the hot tub in the courtyard. Or sit back and enjoy the Arkansas River while listening to sounds of water rushing by. Riverside Hacienda proves to be perfect for entertaining & enjoying time with family and friends! Location! Location! Location! **** PLEASE NOTE that this such an amazing location and is booked a lot. The owner’s want to enjoy it just as much as you! They have added a locked off studio onsite, but are rarely on the premise. It is a completely separate space. **** The Riverside Hacienda is part of a duplex. If you have a large group and need more space, we also have the Frontside Hacienda (VRBO # 1128337) located on the front side of the property that may be available for your dates. Please let us know if you might be interested in booking both units together! Each hacienda has it’s own private enclosed courtyard. Main Level: -Enjoy the expansive & fully equipped kitchen with a great island dining table. -The master suite includes a king bed, TV & private bath. Bring your sleeping bag to sleep on the deck or patio & stargaze as the sounds of the river lull you to sleep! -The deck off of the kitchen overlooking the river has a gas grill for the nights you want to stay in and BBQ. -The hot tub seats 4-6 people in the private courtyard with an outdoor dining area & indoor/outdoor bar window off of the kitchen. -There are 2 cruiser bikes provided for guest use. -The Riverside Hacienda does not have A/C. Lower Level: -First bedroom in the lower level has a TV, 2 queen beds & 2 twin beds. -Second bedroom in the lower level has 2 double beds. -Full bath. Separate Suite (Main Level): -Accessed from the courtyard, the suite has one bedroom with a king bed and another room with 2 twin beds, & full bath to accommodate 4 guests. -Laundry closet. The Riverside Hacienda has a total of 10 beds. Riverside Hacienda is a dog friendly home! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs with prior approval, pet policy agreement and a nonrefundable fee of $100/stay. Toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, dish soap, trash bags, coffee filters as well as face, hand, & bath towels are all provided. STR#0251 Here's what YOU can do: If showing any signs and symptoms of COVID-19 please stay home. Bring a mask and wear it when you are out in public. Maintain physical distancing of 6 feet. This property is in a beautiful location. The sound of the Arkansas river below can't be beat! And the walk along the river to restaurants is beautiful as well. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen was well furnished. We'll be back!

Everything about this place was perfect for my family from out of town to see the beauty of Salida and have access to every event we planned. What was so perfect is the grand children and I and 2 Aunts stayed in the big house and the two nieces with her husbands had the suite attached. It couldn’t have been more perfect, everything is so beautiful inside and lots of things for the grandchildren to do .
I would love to come back just to have a reunion and all the beautiful memories that were created in this lovely place. Thank you, Kristan❤️

Whether you are there to enjoy the town, float or mountain bike this property is perfect. Close to everything yet feels secluded. This was or second time renting here and we will be back for a 3rd.

Upgrades have been made since our stay several years ago. Everything went smooth and it is the best house for a lot of kids/close friends. The location doesnt get any better. The kids would run in the river, than jump in the hot tub, then go to the skate park, back in the river, etc etc. Lots of great bars/restaurants for the adults to enjoy as well.

No better location to stay in Salida with easy access the river, shops & dining. Our group loved the set-up with private rooms for all. We spent time on the deck watching the paddlers & the hot tub warming up after a rafting trip. Fully stocked with anything you’ll need including small touches like blow dryers & toiletries. We hope to be back next year!

We tucked ourselves into 3 bedrooms with 2 baths and then late in the visit we realized there was a whole other section with 2 more bedrooms and 1 one more bath. Thoroughly enjoyed the visit.

The property is in a great location and was very comfortable for our family of 8 adults. The owner communicated ahead of time and often checked to make sure we had everything we needed.

Perfect for large family. No need to use vehicle after you get here. River, restaurants, shopping just steps away. Even Mimi could walk everywhere! Young adults enjoyed restaurants and bars, kids couldn't get enough of the river and the hot tub was perfect after a fun filled day! Grandparents watched it all from the deck. So fun and convenient.

The photos do not give this property justice. The property is stunning. The location is perfect. Your on the river and walking distance from any downtown business. I would absolutely stay here again. If you are considering this property, do yourself a favir and go ahead and book you will not be disappointed.

This VRBO is special. It is located in maybe the best spot it could be if you want to explore Salida. It is seconds away from Mountain Bike trails, restaurants, breweries. It has an awesome porch overlooking the river. We couldn't have asked for much more. The owners were exceptionally responsive and everything was well stocked. Overall, it was a very positive experience and we would use them again.

This property is in a great location downtown and next to the river, and the owner responded to all messages quickly! There were some issues understanding which portions of the property could be accessed, because it wasn't clear in the description. During the stay, one person accidently got locked in one of the bedrooms (improper lock on the door), and a plumber had to be called due to a toilet not working (and my team couldn't use that whole bathroom on the last day of the stay). Again, the owner was very responsive, but the issues caused a fair amount of distraction during what was supposed to be a productive planning retreat.

We loved our stay at Riverside Hacienda. Perfect for our families to gather for a ski weekend. Everything was clean and and there was an adorable welcome sign and gift. The absolute best part was hearing and seeing the river right from the deck. Walking distance to everything Salida has to offer. And wonderful host who is extremely communicative! Can’t be beat!

This house is in the perfect location in downtown Salida and beautiful view overlooking the river on the back patio. Hot tub was great and the kitchen was fully loaded for making meals. Safeway grocery a few minutes away and easy drive to Monarch. We will definitely be back!

The location of this property is excellent, right on the bank of the Arkansas river with a great view of mountain! Easy walk to downtown, grocery store, hiking trails and more. Lots of space for our group of 10 with dogs. Personal touches added to the experience. We hiked, skied, snowmobiles, made dinners, shopped, played games…great memories made!

Not only was the house wonderful, but the location could not have been better. We watched the river right from the front deck, enjoyed the hot tub after swimming in the river, walked to restaurants and coffee, and I ran the river trail every morning.
The house was fully equipped with anything you could possibly need. There was even a pack n' play crib for our 1 year old.
We will definitely be back.

Loved this spot and plan to return with our whole family [9 people].
The house is perfectly located in town, we could walk wherever we needed, we had a beautiful sight of the water and watched many water kayakers and others play from the porch.
The front area is beautiful, lots of shade and a nice place to enjoy an outdoor meal.
The house is set up with a sonos system so we could easily play music, which was really nice.
The host welcomed us with a very cute basket of goodies, making us feel very welcome in their home.

Being on the river like this is unreal fabulous. We absolutely loved this space for our business meetings. We do all of our own cooking and it was a well stocked kitchen and great hang out area. Watching surfers on the river from the deck can’t be beat! And playing on the river can’t be any easier than from this location - wow!! Rooms, bathrooms, hot tub - all awesome. Yay!! We’ll be back next year!!

We loved our stay again at this property. The access to the Arkansas River is such a bonus considering our teenagers love to be in the water with their boogie boards. We also play pickle ball as a family and the outdoor courts were such an asset. Kristan was an awesome help when we ran into a problem. She was so responsible and so quick at responding to our requests! We will be back next summer!
