Please contact us to inquire. Welcome to the Hacienda Abreeze. The bucolic setting of Abreeze sits on 3 ½ of the most spectacular hilltop acres you can find in all of Vieques. Boasting panoramic views of both the Atlantic and Caribbean Oceans, Abreeze is sure to appeal for its intimate privacy and spectacular vistas. Abreeze is comprised of 3 private units: A studio apartment, a 1BR apartment and a 2BR apartment. This presents renters with a flexible array of accommodation options. Either rent whichever unit suits your needs, or bring a crowd and enjoy the entire Abreeze compound for your holiday. Each unit is completely private from the others and has their own kitchen and bathroom (1 ½ bathrooms in the 2BR unit), and deck. The 36’ pool with gazebo and extensive deck is shared among all units. It has it’s own wet bar area, outdoor shower, charcoal grill and is ideally set overlooking the Caribbean Ocean and Bioluminescent Bay. Located in “Barrio Destino”, one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Vieques, Abreeze sits on the very top of the hill, located idyllically to take in the unique panorama with hypnotic views of Vieques Island, mainland Puerto Rico and the Caribbean Sea.The property is surrounded by rolling meadows and old trees. Given its unique hilltop location, the gentle trade winds make Abreeze a very comfortable (and minimally buggy) place to stay year round. This unique island location is close to it all, with the best part being that it is only minutes from the main entrance to the National Wildlife Refuge area, providing access to some of the most beautiful, peaceful and pristine beaches in the Caribbean and the World. There is plenty of parking and guests have full access to the grounds. A rental car is the best way to experience Vieques. This listing is one of three units at Abreeze. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom has 2 twin beds and a bunkbed. Bunk beds can be added to the twins if needed. A NOTE ON GETTING TO VIEQUES AND CAR RENTALS Vieques is an island off the southeast coast of mainland PR. You must either take a ferry or a flight to get to Vieques. Cars can be in short supply on Vieques, especially during busy times. We recommend you book your car right away. We will not provide refunds outside of our refund policy if you are unable to get to Vieques from the mainland or secure a car rental. A NOTE ON WATER PRESSURE Abreeze is high up in a hilltop and as such water pressure can sometimes drop. We have no control over it. Typically the water pressure will drop temporarily and come back quickly, but intermittent outages are to be expected.

Very nice experience overall. The property manager was very informative. The property view made the stay. We enjoyed the sunrises, sunsets and the landscape views of mainland PR and of the reserve and coastline to Esperanza. The walls had some must and moldy dust, and the apartment smelled musty. The sheets had brown spots on them in the spare room. Just needed freshened up.

Wow. You can see 360 deg from this property and it’s stunning. We loved meeting up at sunset near the pool to watch the display. The house had everything we needed…..well stocked, comfortable beds, and very responsive property manager. The grounds were absolutely beautiful and we also loved having the pool when we wanted to take a dip at the end of the day. The neighborhood was quiet and absolutely quaint. We could get to anywhere on the island within ~20 min. Absolutely perfect location. We’ll be back!

Karen and Yadira reached out to us and helped us through text, the app, and email to make sure we were taken care of. They helped arrange pick up times when we arrived on the island. They helped us find transportation. They welcomed us in person to the house. They waited while we rented scooters (which was the best way to see the island). Yadira took our bags in her car while we rode scooters. She met us at the end of the trip to make sure we were ready to check out, and took us to the ferry service we wouldn’t have to pay for a taxi and carry bags. Karen texted us to make sure Yadira was taking care of us appropriately. AND the pool and view were breathtaking! We felt secluded and peaceful while we looked over Mosquito Bay at night, and took a dip in the pool—so relaxing! Thank you!

Relax!!

If you want to relax with perfect views don’t think twice... No TV, no fancy technology... turn off your electronics and just go with the flow (of a nonstop breeze) The Owner and his staff are super! If you have any question about Vieques or should you need anything just ask them!! Note: Upstairs Studio doesn’t have air conditioning, if that is a must for you, talk to the owner. It wasn’t an issue for us and we were there when temperatures in San Juan were in the high 90’s.

I can’t imagine there is a better rental on Vieques - this one is stunning! Large, spacious and well appointed rooms, beautiful patios & best views on the island. On top of the hill you can see for miles and miles in every directionand there is always a nice breeze. Dennis was very helpful and accommodating. We toured all of Puerto Rico this past trip, next trip we’re coming straight to Abreeze!

Where do I begin?!! This place was amazing. Driving up to the property you come up to a gated entrance to gorgeous grounds. Palm trees, tamarind trees, burst of bright colorful flowers pepper the gardens. From the high vantage point, every point of the grounds has a breathtaking view. Plenty of parking to the side. The property is well ventilated and there is a wonderful ocean breeze throughout the 2 bedroom we stayed in. (Guess that's where the name 'abreeze' comes from) There are ceiling fans galore in every room and multiple in the shared living spaces. Even two outside on the patio where we had lunch overlooking the ocean. All the airflow deters the mosquitos! Didn't get bitten once in four days. The views are endless and sunsets are unbeatable. Night skies are full of stars and the coqui. The 2bdr we stayed at had humongous bedrooms with very comfy beds. Everything was very clean and lots of storage for any of your needs. The bathrooms (1 and 1/2) and kitchen were very clean. There is shared laundry by the garage as well as beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkling equipment and coolers which area must as you have some of the best beaches very close to Vieques Abreeze. There is a small tire shop/convenience store down the road which sells fresh fruits, veggies, groceries and drinks as well as fresh coconuts! We got most of our food there but there are also a few supermarkets in the neighboring town of Isabella segunda. Try the bakery in town called Panaderia Lydia. Also a must try are Hortas BBQ as well as the tin box. The island it self has many restaurants that are extremely affordable by any carribean island standards. The property is located at the top of a hill overlooking ocean views on the south and the west sides. Because of its proximity to the national wildlife refuge the scenery is pristine and untouched. If you are heading to Vieques this is the place to stay! Whether it be with friends or families with kids the property is stunning.

Glorious setting atop a hill in Vieques. In one direction, a wide and stunning view of the Caribbean Sea, US Virgin Islands in the distance, bioluminescent bay in the foreground. In the other direction, the Atlantic Ocean and mountainous silhouette of mainland Puerto Rico. Generous and beautifully landscaped property with a great variety of native plants, many flowering. Lovely house with open, airy, brightly-lit spaces. Situated right in the middle of the island and so close to everything (beaches, Esperanza, Isabel Segunda, etc), though also feels nicely secluded and private. Refreshing breeze keeps things just a little cooler than elsewhere, especially at night, which is very pleasant. Highly recommended - I couldn't have asked for anything more !

Beautiful respite

Beautiful respite

We looooved this place. Beautiful views of pretty much the whole island. The bay view from the pool is incredible. We ended up spending a lot of time on the property taking in the wonderful cool breeze and watching the peaceful wild horses graze on the grass. Every evening, we made sure that we were home in time to watch the sunset from the villa. It is extraordinary! If you are looking for a raging party, this is not for you. If you are looking to relax and unwind, I can't think of a better place! Will be coming back again for sure. Also, should mention, Dennis the property manager is super helpful which is a big plus.
