Kick off your gumboots and curl up with a good book and a glass of local wine. Sleep in your king-sized bed and wake up refreshed and ready to cook a full English breakfast with delicious produce straight from our farm. Once inside the Nissen Hut, you’ll be captivated by the airy vaulted ceiling and warm interior. Sink into a comfortable armchair and gaze out the window across the fields to the hills beyond. The history of the Hut is preserved in the iron ribs of the distinctive arch, creating a space full of natural light. The homely interior invites you to stretch out, relax and enjoy the stillness. Offering accommodation for four people, the Hut has two spacious en-suite bedrooms and an exceptional lounge area. Bathe in the spa bathroom, feel warm and cosy in front of the log fire and cook up a feast in the sleek modern kitchen. Outside, the private landscaped garden and wetlands provide a peaceful haven. Enjoy fishing, gourmet BBQs and magical evenings spent spotting native wildlife and listening to the birds chirping. The property is ideally positioned for visiting the local attractions like wineries, galleries and nearby forest walks. Or you can simply stay put and mosey through our beautiful property. Glenlowren is a working farm, and alongside the landscaped gardens, you’ll discover veggie patches, fruit orchards, friendly cows, beehives, and an inquisitive goat or two. Please note that the Nissen Hut backs onto our stunning wetlands. Guests are asked to consider this when booking with children and note that all children must be supervised by an adult whilst exploring the area to ensure their safety.

Extremely well appointed property, tastefully decorated and set in a peaceful valley among native birds and farm animals. We had pleasure in sitting outside for happy hour overlooking the pond in the early evenings listening to the frogs. Our hosts Pieter and Tinne provided a wonderful array of breakfast items enjoyed by all. Would highly recommend

With excellent facilities and design, we had a very comfortable and relaxing stay. The kitchen is well appointed enabling easy self-catering. The lounge area is supremely comfortable, with an excellent range of folio books for delving into while enjoying the warmth of the fireplace. Bedrooms were warm and tastefully styled. An excellent option for a couple or small family wanting some rural solace.

Just what you need! Don’t think about it, do it. Stay here. Lovely in all aspects. Beautiful gardens, picturesque views out every window, Gourmet delights in the fridge, fresh flowers around the house, quality kitchen items, huge comfortable bedrooms and en-suite, Overall a hidden gem. A real treat for anyone who visits.
