Our family combed through listings, chasing that elusive perfect spot for our annual Galveston escape. We usually settle a block or two from the shore—close enough to hear the waves, far enough to save a little—but this year, we decided to splurge. When I first saw this property, I was skeptical. A string of flawless 10/10 reviews? It felt too good to be true. And yet—every one of them holds up. From my first message, Jenny set the tone. Warm, responsive, genuinely thoughtful—it felt less like booking a rental and more like being welcomed. The house is beautiful and tastefully curated in a way that sets it apart from the typical beach rental. Every detail felt intentional. And unlike so many places we’ve stayed, it was fully equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bathrooms were well stocked, and the towels were plush. Even small touches—like the ice machine—felt like quiet luxuries. We came overprepared, lugging along extra supplies shaped by past trips. None of them left our bags. The home’s location was another unexpected win. Set just off the front row, it offered amazing views of the water without sacrificing privacy. The outdoor spaces made it effortless to enjoy every moment. And for our family member with mobility challenges, the elevator was essential. It meant more time together and less worry. Of all our Galveston trips over the years, this one stands out—easily the best we’ve had. Safe to say, splurging might become our new family tradition!

1. Bidet broken and leaked into bathroom.
2. TV’s 1. Shut down after a half hour and the other prodcasted in Spanish.
3. As a DAV the 3 steps were a disaster for me
4. Bathroom light blew out. Very dark and no one to help locally.. at least 10 ft ceiling
5. No water toys like other pirates beach rentals.
6. No change of linens for a 3 week stay.
7. No labels on light switches. Very confusing
8. Owners do not live nearby and no management company locally.
9. No instruction book in a huge house.
10. For the nightly rate for 3 weeks off season, we found the price high.
