About this condo rental
Located in Kihei, this lovely condo for $190 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Enjoy fabulous unobstructed views of the ocean from this oceanfront, 5th floor one bedroom unit. The ocean is so close to this unit you can hear the waves crashing on the beach and the palms blowing in the trade winds. Enjoy whale watching from your lanai (balcony) in the winter months and watching the windsurfers and kite surfers during the breezy summer months. A washer/dryer is located in the unit for your convenience as well as free WiFi and free long distance calling to Canada and the US. There is no Air conditioning in the unit, instead there are ceiling fans in every room and when the windows are open you'll get the cross breeze from the ocean. Menehune Shores is a 6 story complex located in North Kihei. It is centrally located on Maui and close to many activities on the island. This complex is also home to an onsite restaurant or cook your own meal in either of the two BBQ areas. One is by the pool and the other is on the rooftop. During the day enjoy walking along the beach or lying by the pool. If you want to swim in the ocean visit the neighboring beach park that is protected by an ancient Hawaiian fishpond. From the moment you arrive, you will relax and enjoy the incredible view. This is exactly why you came to Maui, so enjoy, have fun and experience Maui in the best possible way. The sunrise and sunset views from the lanai were the highlight of my trip! Inside is fine and it was nice to have beach chairs. Condo complex is quiet and easy to get on the road for outings.

We stayed in Menehune Shores VRBO. The condo had absolutely everything we needed or could wish for in good working condition. We had the most spectacular view of the ocean, and were treated to birdsong every evening. The staff was friendly and helpful, and so was the owner of the unit. She called us to let us know what we needed to do in preparation of tropical storm Calvin. A great feature of the complex was the water fountain with filtered water. We would love to stay there again on our next trip to Maui.

The condo was fantastic, obviously the view was great. The beach toys was very much appreciated. The only downfall was no air conditioning, but that was told in the beginning.

This stay was absolutely perfect! The view was spectacular, the location is very central to everything, and the inside makes it feel like home. There is no AC, but that was never an issue. It gets pretty breezy in the early afternoon, so if you keep the windows open and the fans on then the inside temperature is cool for the entire day. The beach is directly below the unit, and there is a little cove that protects the beach from waves. This cove is a protected sea turtle mating area, so we did see sea turtles in this cove! The water is very shallow in the cove (maybe 3ft at most), so this beach is perfect for little ones. Lisa was very communicative the whole way through. The check out process was simple. My fiancé and I loved this stay so much that we plan to stay here again whenever we decide to return to Maui! Mahalo Lisa!!

This condo is lovely! Very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the view each morning as we ate breakfast on the balcony and then again each evening while relaxing after the day’s activities. The location is very central on the island and perfect for getting out to explore and enjoy all that Maui has to offer. It was our first time to Maui and we hope to return and stay here again!

The location could not have been any more perfect. We felt like it was pretty central to everything that we wanted to do on the island. The location of the condo had spectacular views! The condo complex was unique and had a total island vibe. If we come back to Maui in the future, we would love to stay here again. It was fully equipped and had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable! Mahalo!!

This was such a great stay. The view is amazing and our unit was so well stocked with everything you need. Lisa was quick to respond with answering my questions during our stay. Location was perfect, within a reasonable drive to key cities. Fabulous stay, highly recomend. Mahalo Lisa!!

We loved this complex. It'sclose to everything in Kihei, yet away from the crowds. The high floor and central location in the building make it ideal for privacy and views. Lack of AC was a problem since the weather was very hot. Even with windows open, the afternoons were uncomfortable. The unit could use some de-cluttering, too. However, the price was right. I would come back in cooler weather.

This condo was wonderful, with an expansive water view. All amenities were perfect. The location is not too far from Lahaina or Wailea. There is no air conditioning but the breeze from the ocean was very nice. We were able to drive to restaurants but we really enjoyed the on site Indian restaurant a couple of nights, which was very convenient and delicious.

Loved it here. We weren’t packed in with all the resorts. Great location! Central to road to Hana to the East, Haleakala east and to west Maui. The condo is nice equipped with all the outdoor gear. We couldn’t tear ourselves of the balcony. That view will never get old!

Loved this condo. Views to die for. Saw turtles swimming right outside our lanai. Very comfortable!! Maybe some new pads for outside deck chairs would be nice. We just used inside couch pillows to help.
