About this condo rental
Located in Vernon, this attractive condo for $104 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Beachfront condominium complex close to Paddlewheel Park, Kin Beach and the Vernon Yacht Club. Within walking distance of neighbourhood pubs, grocery store, parks and boat launches. This is a corner, 2BDRM, 2BATH unit with a covered, oversized deck. Fully furnished with everything you need for your stay. Guests have access to all amenities as though they were owners themselves. This includes large sand beach, marina and central courtyard. As owners, we live down the road and are happy to help. We have travelled the world staying in others' houses and are happy to be able to offer our condo to other travellers. We had a wonderful time staying at this condo in Vernon. The location is perfect - right on the water in a quiet neighbourhood - and the condo is clean, bright and spacious. Our family was very comfortable here and we would definitely stay again if we come to Vernon in the future. Thanks so much for having us!!

We had a wonderful time, the condo was in great location and very clean. Mindy very accommodating and helpful with quick responses . Beds were very comfortable, only negative thing I could think of is maybe the kitchen could use some newer pans. Overall great place and we will probably be going back

We had a wonderful stay at this well equipped 2 bedroom condo in the Strands resort complex. There is a patio with a BBQ, comfortable beds, and a well stocked kitchen. Plenty of TVs with one in each bedroom.
The grounds of the Strand are well kept, there is a nice pool with lots of shaded tables and lounge chairs and beach (though rocky and lots of aquatic plants in water) with a trampoline in the water that the kids loved to play on. There is a dock with chair, boat slips and people fishing. Downtown Vernon is 10 minutes away. It is a strata so there are some rules but it keeps everything safe.

Beautiful location and an amazing space for all 5 of us to stay comfortably. The condo was clean and inviting with a nice little outdoor space.
Just a note for older renters. The only complaint from my parents (80+) was that the bathtub was too high making it difficult to get in and out of.

This was just a lovely spot, the unit itself was clean and well set up, comfortable beds, stocked kitchen. The beach and pool were great for the kids! Just a short walk away was a pub with some good food and to the other side a quiet beach with lots of beautiful trees for shade. Would definitely stay there again

Wonderful home base for some Vernon adventures. Kids could have spent all day in the pool and it wasn’t too busy midweek. Easy beach access and the air conditioning in the condo was perfect for some cool down time in the afternoon. Full kitchen and pack and play made traveling with kids easier. Really no lake view from the balcony but it’s nice and private, great for an evening glass of wine after the kids go down!
Mindy answered my one million questions very quickly each time I sent a message.
We will definitely look at this place for next summer!

Our family stayed 10 nights and it was wonderful!!! The check in was easy and the condo was well stocked. Also, beach towels were provided, which was a pleasant surprise because I never remember to pack them! Great location, minutes from paddlewheel beach and a short drive to Ellison Provincial Park and the Davison Orchards!
We really enjoyed sitting in the beautiful courtyard and the kids loved scootering around. Most of all, we loved the heated pool and spent several hours there!!! For such a large condo unit, the pool was never too busy either!!!

My family and I had a great stay (July 8-11). The inside of the condo was very clean and well appointed. The beds were comfortable and having two bathrooms was great given we are a family of 5. The kitchen is well stocked with everything (dish/pan/utensil) that you need to make any meal you fancy. You also have your own bbq on the deck. The unit is a second floor corner unit that is located at the front (street side) of the building (I don't remember if those details were in the listing). The road isn't busy so we didn't find street noise to be an issue.
The location of the property is great. There is a private beach area off of the pool that wasn't busy at all. Took the kids down around midday and they had the beach to themselves. The pool is very nice. It was the perfect temp, and like the beach, not too busy. The bathrooms at the pool were some of the cleanest pool bathrooms I've been in. Overall the property is beautifully maintained. The courtyard, grass and shrubbery are well manicured and very clean.
Overall, between the condo and the greater property, this is a wonderful place to stay, play and relax. Whether for a family getaway, couples retreat, or on your own you will not be disappointed.

An amazing and cooperating owner!
It was a great experience renting this property. We got disappointed when we got there as the pool was planned to stay closed during our whole duration of stay. However the owner offered us their personal pool at their residence to turn our disappointment into a great and fun experience. I will highly recommend this property!

I would suggest that the oven gets cleaned and that you replace the 2 pans. The floor may be clean but it unfortunately appeared dirty has the grout needs some serious scrubbing .
Aside from that we appreciated the well stocked kitchen and comfortable bed. The pool area was very nice and well kept

Wonderful properly located steps from the beach. Was given a tour of the property immediately after arriving which was very much appreciated. The condo was spacious and very clean and we felt right at home.

We enjoyed the park nearby within walking distance as well and we took a short 20 min drive to lake country to visit 50th parallel and gray monk wineries. This property is in a great location for a family holiday!

July 2020 stay
We had a wonderful but short stay at Mindy's place in lake country. The apartment/townhouse complex was very clean and neat. The home was the perfect size for a family of 4 for get-away. The home had everything we needed. It is in close proximity to Kalamalka lake which is beautiful and okanagan lake which is warmer. Highly recommend. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Great location, nice suite
We had a very pleasant stay. The suite is well designed and was very comfortable. Everything was well maintained and very clean. Communication with owners was fast and helpful. We were unable to find the peek-a-boo view of the lake mentioned in the online description. The suite was lovely and quiet at night. Access to downtown Vernon was direct and easy.
