LARGE, CUSTOM POST & BEAM HOME OVERLOOKING KENAI NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE. 13 YEARS IN OPERATION WITH 100% FIVE STAR REVIEWS. PERFECT FOR LARGE FAMILY/FRIEND GROUPS. HOT TUB ON DECK WITH FOREVER VIEWS. Raven's Bluff House is unique among properties in the central Kenai Peninsula. With 5 bedrooms, 3 baths, two full kitchen/living areas, a large deck and outdoor lawn area, your group will have plenty of space to relax, gather, rest, and recharge in the Alaska wilderness. An architectural gem, this custom-built post and beam home boasts 30 ft vaulted ceilings...making the view inside the home a perfect compliment to the vast and spectacular vista outside. There is simply no better view in the area...guests often comment that the pictures do not do it justice, and frankly, it's just not possible to capture what awaits you. Many guests say they loved the home so much they wished they'd planned less sightseeing trips and just spent more time at this unique property. We are proud of our 11 year history in business and our 5 STAR guest review streak over that entire period. We've taken great feedback from our guests and every year make an investment in improving Raven's Bluff in any way we can to make sure our guests have a wonderful vacation. Many upgrades have been made to the house in the last few years, including high-end kitchen appliances, a 6-person hot tub on the deck, new lighting, quality furniture and bedding/towels, large smart TVs, heating systems, ceiling fans, landscaping, new roofs, rooftop solar, new Anderson doors and windows, custom blackout blinds, and every kitchen gadget imaginable including new Nespresso machines in each kitchen. Raven's Bluff House has two separate units, the upper which has 3 bedrooms/2 baths and the lower (Bear Den) which has 2 bedrooms/1 bath. They are not connected internally and you'll need to access through an outside door, which allows for great privacy for larger groups. Alaska is a wonderland of natural beauty and amazing resources, which our family has spent generations protecting through conservation efforts. We welcome you to our vacation home where you too can become a 'Sourdough' and share in this unique experience. The home is available year round. Winter travelers will be rewarded with an incredible show of colorful northern lights and millions of stars in the dark Arctic night. Nearby winter activities include cross-country skiing, ice fishing, snowmobiling, and hot beverage drinking! Summer guests will be rewarded with midnight sun, vast and expansive views, solitude, wildlife, and world-class salmon and halibut fishing. The house is centrally located in Sterling which makes day trips to both Homer and Seward possible for touring both Kachamak and Resurrection Bays with their incredible wildlife, fishing, shopping and history. Multi-generational families taking their once-in-a-lifetime trip to Alaska will especially appreciate this property. The house comfortably sleeps 10 people but if you have a larger group, the Bird's Nest in-law apartment is located on the same property and is a lovely 1 bedroom 1 bath home nestled among the trees with incredible mountain views from the deck. Where to start? Amazing home, perfect views, comfortable home with very comfortable beds. Home owner Juniper and house managers Shelia and Paul were five star service! We enjoyed all their advice and they were extremely welcoming and accommodating! We had two families, four kids and four adults so the house was the most perfect layout. It had everything we needed and more. Centrally located to every city and trail, plus the drive from many cities was stunning. The drive from Anchorage to Sterling was heaven. The beautiful turquoise waters all around us on fishing and hikes were truly spectacular. If you want to experience beautiful Alaska, while staying at an incredible home, this is it!!!! The home is so well stocked with every amenity possible. We all enjoyed the hot tub from the deck! We are ready to come back. We also experienced two great river fishing trips via Mark and Cindy Glassmaker fishing charters and we would highly recommend using them for any fishing needs, which are close to house. Thank you Juniper, Shelia, and Paul for the hospitality, which made our trip perfect!!!

This place exceeded our expectations in every way. The attention to details was second to none. I would highly recommend this home to anyone. The location was great because you can travel to Soldotna and Cooper Landing pretty easily. Also, with the new 3 Bears Opening, a grocery store is really close now. Thanks again Desiree and Juniper!

We loved Raven's Bluff House! Central to Homer and Seward (2 hour drives) as a home base, we could come back after a day of adventure and relax in the hot tub and enjoy the mountain / glacier views. Plenty of outdoors gear was available too. Check out our house review on Kovaction at YouTube! Search #kovaction and look for the red flying K.

We had an incredible week on the Kenai Peninsula. We had the opportunity to fish, hike, see TONS of wildlife like bears and moose, and no matter what the day brought, we always could come home and enjoy the amazing accommodations that this magical place has to offer. This space is clean, comfortable, and has incredible views and an amazing yard. Plenty of room for activities, games, dinner on the deck, and the hot tub was also amazing. The property management team is so quick to respond and to help with anything that you might need. Kitchen is fully stocked with literally anything and everything you could think of. They also have tons of extras like bikes, waders, fishing stuff. Very awesome! Thank you so much for our stay!
