About this condo rental
Situated in Kihei, this lovely condo for $200 per night is a great option for your next break. CANCELLATION IS POSSIBLE!! See standard cancellation terms outlined in our Rental Agreement. We are also willing to work with our guests to make their vacation possible, especially with Covid issues and potential travel restrictions. You’re invited to stay in our Kihei Kai Vista, Unit 2406 at Maui Vista. Please, come, relax and enjoy. The ocean view from our 4th floor, building 2 unit we think is one of the best in the complex. Enjoy rainbows, whales, the morning song of tropical birds, the occasional gecko and of course, the magnificent sunsets while relaxing on our lanai. In December 2012 we purchased our condo and came in January 2013 to add some personal touches, with more to come on future trips. We’ve replaced all carpet with bamboo flooring and put a Cal. King bedroom set in the master bedroom and for the flexibility of our guests, XL twin beds that can be converted to a King in the second bedroom loft. The upstairs bathroom has been expanded with a larger walk-in shower and private lavatory. There are new granite counter tops throughout the unit along with a full complement of kitchen accessories and appliances. There is a lovely bar-height table and chairs on the lanai to enjoy your breakfast, watch for whales during season, or relax with your favorite cocktail while taking in one of the best places for sunset views. Beach chairs, towels, an umbrella and cooler are there for your use. After a long day at the beach or sightseeing, we have provided new flat screen TV’s in the living room and master bedroom along with cable, a DVR and a variety of movies, as well as complimentary WiFi, local and long distance phone to the Mainland U.S. and Canada. Newly installed split A/C unit in the living area will cool you off in a hurry. Ceiling fans in the living area and both bedrooms provide additional circulation, especially with the tradewind breezes. NEW FOR 2023!! In February the tub/shower was replaced with a beautiful walk-in shower with a bench and hand-held showerhead wand. Also, we've purchased a new living room queen-size sofa sleeper and reupholstered the ottomans. Additional renovations completed October 2023, all floor tile was replaced with LVP flooring, and the second bathroom shower was renovated as well. We also replaced the refrigerator and microwave, all kitchen and bath countertops, cabinetry and our lanai tile. Over the years we’ve stayed at a variety of places in Maui but feel that Maui Vista had the most to offer. The complex is right across the street from famous Charley Young Beach, within walking distance of several other beaches that run along the Kihei coast as well as many shops, restaurants and a grocery store. Maui Vista is an over eight-acre property with well-maintained grounds with a variety of tropical vegetation, three swimming pools (recently converted to a saltwater chlorination system), six tennis courts (some with pickleball striping), three gas barbeque grill stations. We believe you won't be disappointed with the awesome ocean view, the centralized location near the beach, many restaurants and shopping opportunities, the well-appointed accommodations at a reasonable price all with easy access to the wide variety of activities available on Maui. Size and location was perfect for our family, we enjoyed our stay in Kihei. Owner was quick to respond and thorough with information. We were short beach towels and the beach umbrella was broken when we tried to use it, they responded right away and delivered new items. Would recommend.

We found this condo perfect for our visit to Maui. It is centrally located and close to all necessary amenities. Walking distance to beaches, restaurants, grocery and gift shopping. Short distance driving to many beaches and tourist attractions.
The unit itself was perfect for our family of 2 adults and 2 teens as it provides separation and privacy bt the 2 main sleeping areas and has 2 separate bathrooms. We had everything we needed for the beach, in the kitchen, bedding and bathroom.
Check in was easy and the hosts were prompt to any queries we had. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found it stress free.

Clean and comfortable, and an awesome location. The condo felt small at first, but with the high ceilings and upper loft, it proved to be ample space for our family. Being on the top floor gave us a partial ocean view along with a direct view to the pool below, and very convenient to the elevator. The quick walk just along a path and across the street to the best local beach was also nice. Both the owners and management company were available and responsive, answering all emails very quickly. We would definitely stay here again!

It was a very nice home away from home. The view is beautiful from the unit! Had what we needed for our stay. The laundry in unit was a big bonus as I did not think we would need it except once but we used it especially for our towels. Having enough beds for all of us made me happy. We did use the pull out couch too.

It was our first time in Maui, and staying in this property was a great choice! We even thought of staying longer.
The beach is 3mins walk, it was sandy and easiest one of the best beach around Kihei. All great restaurants, grocery places, and foodtrucks are all less than 10mins walk as well.
The place is very clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The owner and property manager were all very friendly and accomodating. We appreciated the complimentary beach supplies and cooler too. Beds are wonderful and comfortable which made our sleep very restful.
When we stayed, there was a brief power interruption in Maui (about 2-3 hours). Please do not panic as it was fast to be resolved.
TIP: If you are checking in late at night (like we did), check the signs around and you can get a number to call the security... they can check you in and give you your parking pass so you do not have to wake up early to check in with the front desk.

This lovely condo was roomy enough for our group of 5. I quite liked the separation of floors which gave that bit of extra privacy. The location also was great right above the pool and on the oceanside so we caught a great sunset. Charley Young beach is an easy walk across the street. For us going there earlier in the day or early evening was best as there's not much shade ( umbrellas in the hall closet are handy ) and the sand gets awfully hot on the feet. We were lucky to see turtles swimming close to shore at both Charley Young beach and Turtle Beach which is a 10/15 minute drive south. The condo is about midway and walkable to many shops and food outlets. A great location, great hosts and a very nice getaway!

They also provide everything you need for a beach day from chairs to a cooler to snorkel gear! Being able to see the ocean and mountains from the balcony is just fantastic!

Having stayed at this property before, choosing a unit here was a no brainer; however, Cindie's unit has everything most people would need/expect from a vacation rental (assortment of pots/pans, beachwares, cleaning supplies). The biggest nitpick would be the pocket door in the upstairs bathroom. It's a bit "sticky" and hard to open/close. The newly renovated main floor shower is nicely done. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here with four adults and a 4 year old. It was exactly as advertised and in a phenomenal location. The beach was just across the street, shops within walking distance, and the check in process was easy. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. The grounds are great with a good pool and bbq’s. Everything was clean and functional, and every necessity was supplied. We were actually surprised by how much was included for cooking and recreation. The downstairs bathroom has been updated and is nice. Upstairs was totally functional and there was ample storage. Would definitely stay again!

The condo is in an excellent location within a 3 minute walk to the Charlie young beach - a beautiful beach to relax or boogie board. Tons of restaurants and markets nearby within walking distance.
The condo itself is clean, spacious and well appointed. The pictures don’t do justice to the view from the lanai. You get to see a beautiful sunset over the ocean from the lanai.
Cindie was an excellent host and easy to communicate with.

A great location for Island adventures or just walking across the street to the beach. So many options that don’t require a car with short walks to restaurants, shopping and beaches. Property was fantastic and we really enjoyed the two levels of our unit. Overall an amazing experience!

The location of this rental is great for easy access to Charley Young Beach and Kam 1 (with a lifeguard). Perfect for those who want to spend time at the beach! The unit is the second building from the entrance. You walk out of the complex, cross the street with a crosswalk and blinking lights on road, and walk down a short block, and down some steps to the beach. There is a rinse shower at the top of the steps. It is also near shopping and dining options.
The unit is as described. It is an older unit with small, minor issues like a shower door that is hard to move. Overall, it's clean. The loft is open so it may be better for kids who don't need a lot of privacy. Because we went during a storm when it was relatively cool, we didn't use the air conditioner, so I can't speak to that. It has the all important washer and dryer unit in a closet in the kitchen. Parking was plentiful when we were there.
For the price, it is a great option for families.

We enjoyed our Maui Vista stay. The condo had plenty of space for our family of five. We were able to cook several simple meals with the provided kitchen tools. The condo has a great view and was very quiet. We were a bit bummed the provided beach umbrella was broken but we grabbed a new one to leave for future guests. The location was central to lots of our favorite Kihei restaurants and Charley Young beach is right across the street to catch the sunset.

Cindie was a phenomenal host, and property was even better than we knew it would be. Having this whole place, including the lanai, to relax and soak in Maui was an absolute dream. We adored walking everywhere in Kihei to get food, drinks, and go snorkeling. Perfect spot for a couple or group to stay. We will definitely we back, and I will try to get this same spot then if I can!! Highly highly recommend

The apartment was in the perfect location. A great central location to get to Wailea or Sugar Beach just north. We were easily able to walk to the beach and other little spots for coffee and food. The condo itself had everything we needed and was the perfect size for 3 people.

We had a great view! Ocean scenery was amazing. Condo was very close to beaches, dining and shopping. Very clean, and exactly as listed. We had a fantastic stay and enjoyed our stay very much. The extras at the condo are great. Coffee filters, bug spray, soap, laundry detergent, etc all amazing to have at hand. We enjoyed the beach chairs, umbrellas cooler and towels as well. Everything was really great. Did I mention the views.. amazing!!! We will definitely come back. Also, communication with the owners was fantastic. Cindy was very helpful with check in, and even with dining recommendations.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The condo was just right for the three of us and it was nice to have a bathroom upstairs. The kitchen was stocked well and I was glad to find a hand mixer to make a birthday dessert. The location was great and we walked across the street to the beach to watch the sun set. Mornings on the balcony with a view of the water started our days. Also within walking distance were numerous restaurants and shops. We were very pleased with the accommodations.
