About this house rental
Nestled in Leadville, this attractive house for $219 per night is a great option for your next break. New construction at 529 E. 9th St only 5 blocks from main street. Withering Heights is ready for you, your friends, family and pets as a home base for nearly every outdoor activity you can imagine. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, 1 and 1/2 baths, two bedrooms and a loft. There are beds for 8 people. The master bedroom has a king sized bed on main level. The loft has one queen, one double futon, and one single bed. Also in the loft is a large enclosed bedroom with king bed and a balcony and a view of Turquoise Lake. The walkout level ($100 extra/night) had one bedroom with queen bed, daybed with a trundle, full bath, living room with TV and kitchenette. Withering Heighthas an oversize attached two car garage, a 40' flat screen TV and cable, WiFi, and gas logs for that cozy cabin feel.

This is such a cute, cozy place to stay in Leadville! Beds are comfortable, and we loved having the garage to park the car since it was very cold while we were there. Would definitely stay again!

We loved the view. But mostly we were blown away by all the little extras you had thought about and provided. Extras of things travelers may have forgotten like sunglasses, dog leashes... You name it.
We really appreciated that everyone could leave extra teas, cooking essentials, etc.
The ONLY thing we wished was different was for the 3rd sleeping area to be separate instead of the open loft. It would be great for a group with several kids, but wasn't so great for a group of 6 adults and one kid.

My friends and i stayed at this rental for a hiking week end close to leadville! The house was spacious, very well located and an awesome base to hike in the area. I ll would without a doubt rent that house again!

We had everything we needed and loved staying here close to walk to downtown and train and drive to some great hikes! We made meals in the kitchen and had everything we needed:) would definitely stay again!

We loved our long weekend in Leadville. This home comes fully stocked and is very easy to live in. Our favorite part was breakfast on the balcony as the sun shone on the 14ers. So gorgeous! It's quiet and comfortable throughout.

I booked this property for me and two buddies to do the Leadville 100 MTB Camp, but unfortunately two of us were not able to get there due to flight cancellations. The third person did use it and found it to be a nice property. He was confused that we hadn't rented the whole property as the downstairs apartment was open, but it is a separate unit. After talking to the owner, he said the door should have been locked. We were able to settle it by sending him the extra two nights of rent for the extra space.

The house was a clean and very comfortable place to use as a base for skiing at several resorts in the area. Well stocked, close to town and great views! We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed with 2 families of 4 - 4 adults and 4 kids, for a week skiing vacation. The house was clean and comfortable and provided everything we needed to make our week long vacation memorable. Communication with the owners was easy and they provided a quick response prior to our trip. I would highly recommend.

The home is very comfortable and has all the amenities one could want. But the views and proximity to town and hiking trails are what sets this home apart from others. We had a fabulous time and look forward to coming back.

We loved our stay! The views are amazing and multiple 14ers are visible from the living room, with even more views from the large outdoor deck. The restaurants and shops in Leadville are just a short walk away. The house itself is in great condition and nice and clean. It was also larger than expected. My family of four were more than comfortable, and there was plenty of extra sleeping space. And just some advice if you plan on staying in Leadville- remember to acclimate beforehand, or at least take it easy the first couple days as the elevation of 10,000 feet is twice that of Denver! (Fortunately, we did and had no issues)

In a town with places to stay from very nice to condemnable, this place ranks very high! The house is new and in great shape. The view is amazing! The only issue is the only restroom on the first floor is in the master bedroom. It’s also the only shower. Not the end of the world, but definitely a hindrance.
Again, can’t say enough great things!

Walking distance to downtown and a short drive to the Safeway from groceries. Owners were super easy to deal with and great communication. Probably the highlight of this spot is the views of Mount Elbert and mount Massive right from the living room. When we come back to Leadville, this is where I will stay again.

A clean, well appointed property in a great neighborhood. The views of Mt. Elbert and Mt. Massive from the great room are spectacular. This property, in our opinion, is absolutely the best property in Leadville.
The only wrinkle that we saw with the property was the poorly maintained dirt driveway and swale. We had a tall van that had a hard time backing into the driveway, and I would caution any vehicle with low clearance from booking this property until the driveway and swale are updated.

Peaceful stay
My stay came at a difficult time in my life. My family and I really enjoyed our stay and no words can describe how peaceful it was to constantly look at the mountains. The host and cleaning personnel were fantastic and truly look forward to my next visit!

Perfectly located and maintained - it feels like home. Even though my husband and I were only there for a very short stay due to a family emergency, I knew it was a place I would like to stay at over and over again.
Host was quick with communication and very welcoming.

Ski trip 2022
We had a great stay at Withering Heights! They allowed us to bring our dogs which was super nice! The place was clean and had everything we needed to cook in and enjoy our ski vacation this year. The garage was helpful when we had snowy days! There are great trails for the dogs just down the street and the house was conveniently located less than a minute from town! The views from the living room are incredible! Stephen was very quick to respond to text messages when we had questions. This is a great place to stay for anyone visiting Leadville.
