Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen and Wi-Fi included. Cot. Telephone for incoming and emergency calls only. Garage with freezer.. Small, front lawned garden. Roof terrace with garden furniture. Private parking for 1 car. Visit England 3 Star.. Appleton enjoys a peaceful location on the edge of Keswick and guests can walk from the rear of the property through small woodland to Fitz Park and the town centre. From the outside it looks like a bungalow, however although the living accommodation is on the ground floor the bedrooms are on the lower ground floor. The accommodation is a simple three star standard but has the benefit of a garage, Wi-fi internet access, a telephone and a roof terrace. The property is situated close to the walk up Latrigg and onto Skiddaw and provides a perfect base for walkers. Free WiFi The gaps between the railings on the balcony are more than 10cm and the height of the external railings are less than 1m.

House is ideally situated. 5 mins from Fitz Park via back entrance. Keswick has everything a family could want. Lake , park, independent shops, walks, theatre, cinema. No need to use car. Garden could be tidier, especially near back garden steps. Terrace is a bonus if sun shines.

3rd visit. This time with daughter and twin 4 yr old grand children. Excellent location for them with Fitz Park straight from back of cottage. Slight problem with shrubs over growing the back steps and path at end of garden making it a challenge for 4 yr olds. Also lack of basics supplies. Loo rolls 2 for the week. No washing up liquid. Small things i know but frustrating. Freezer in garage needs a good clean and defrost. Apart from that very happy.

This cottage is in the most perfect location, with beautiful views of Latrig and Skidaw and being a short walk away from Keswick town centre. The children loved the little wood behind the property and with the balcony over looking this, it was a perfect place to unwind and watch the children play. The interior was a little dated but it was nothing that the pictures online hadn't picked up. I think this was fairly represented in the price and was perfect as a base for our break in the Lakes.

Enjoyed a short break at the cottage. Whilst decor is a bit dated, it is spacious, clean, comfortable and warm. Location is ideal for Keswick shops which are a short walk away and for walking in general. Great for Dog owners. Really enjoyed our stay and we will book again.
