My family enjoyed the relaxing environment. The lake in the back of the home was very enjoyable. Great hospitality. Thank you 😀

Very cool ood farm house. The porch over the river and the lighted barn were awesome! Accommodations for our large group were perfect!

I stayed here with 11 friends as part of a weekend getaway. By far, our favorite part of the property was the deck and the river. While there is not a lot of beach front, we spent many hours floating on the river in our tubes. The house is also a short drive to Lake George and hiking, which we took full advantage of. While we had just enough beds for everyone, I'd say 12 adults (with multiple couples) are the limit. The twin and bunk beds aren't really ideal for adults. Also, one shower for a dozen people was rough. That said, Glenda was great and responsive, and the house itself was cozy. We definitely enjoyed our stay!

Glenda was absolutely wonderful answering any questions. Very easy to find. We had 2 King Charles Spaniels lots of room to run. The house is a little dated needs some holes fixed. Plenty of hot water, washer and dryer fabulous, tons of towels and beds were great.Beach area was really not there. Sketchy climb to get down the hill to the water way to hard for my elderly parents. But nice deck and view. We would stay again Thank you

Great deck overlooking the river! Kids enjoyed their time using our paddle boards and kayaks - launched right off of the property! Also loved the pool table and wraparound porch. Glenda was very responsive!

Absolutely great location, just 10 mins away from the Village, the deck by the river is very nice. It is a very old house but very well maintained, big driveway we were able to fit one SUV 2 sedans and a huge lifted pick up truck without any problems. We loved the little barn/shed where there was life jackets and toys for the river, there was even a small pool table that we enjoyed. Would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse. We bought new tips for the pool cues and many games were played. Loved the deck by the river and the wrap around porch. Would be helpful if the WiFi password was more visible upon arrival. Lake George and many activities close by. Also stores, meat market and library were convenient!

River getaway!
This was a last minute trip we planned and we were very pleased when we arrived. The house sits on the bank of the Schroon River in such a nice spot, kids had so much fun in the river, and the Old Barn was a bonus hangout!

Rest and Relaxation
Property was perfect for our needs. Convenient to all locations we had intended to visit: Lake George Village, Bolton Landing, I-87 for trip to Fort Ticonderoga. Hugh plus that pets were welcomed. Farmhouse had great charm.

Warrenburg property
I will start off by saying this listing is completely deceiving , it appears as if in the middle of the woods , property is very close to the road , it’s definitely an old fashioned farmhouse that for the cost of this rental property the homeowner could atleast put in some air fresheners my only complaints of the property , everything was clean and very rustic the porch and lower deck is great ! The shroon river behind the property was beautiful, however if you choose to kayak do not plan to bring the kayaks right back to the deck , we learned the hard way it was very challenging due to the current, a lot of fun though kids had a great time swimming ( with life jackets ) Certainly a lot of bedrooms and space a great get away close to Saratoga and lake George !

What a charming old house (a neighbor I chatted with each morning while he walked his dog and I sat on the porch told me the house was built in the mid 1800's) - very comfortable and well laid out - the 5 bedrooms upstairs were perfect for the 13 of us. The only confusion we experienced was with the cable/satellite TV - turned out we needed a subscription to a streaming service to watch live TV - my son has a HULU subscription, so we were fine. Unless we missed something, this was our only issue. The location, in quiet Warrensburg, was close enough to Lake George to be convenient, and far enough away to give us peace and quiet from the crowds in LG. The river right behind the house is shallow enough for the kids to swim in without worrying their parents, and, to my surprise, as clean as any water I've seen in a very long time. The deck overlooking the river was the perfect spot for a quiet early morning coffee, and large enough for all of us to eat dinner out there each night. A plus is the washer and dryer - lots of bath towels to wash and dry with so many of us. My wife and kids are already talking about coming back next year. Give it a try - you won't be disappointed.

Very old place and not much upkeep been done. New deck beautiful on river. Air conditioning was our savior on hot weekend. Difficulty with 14 people and 1 shower / 2 toilets but made it work. Only negative downside was misleading amounts of beds. 2 toddler beds available for kids under 4ft tall - and these were listed as twin size beds. So not really enough beds for us as we planned according to the website listing. Had to use a pull out couch there and an air mattress purchase to make it fit all 14 of us. Kids are all 5ft and taller

House on the river
Overall it was a lovely stay! The house had 4 bedrooms with more than enough room for 11 of us. There was a lovely wrap around porch plus the deck on the river and the BBQ made it a great place to stay, it was also a good distance to Lake George (about 15 min) but could get expensive with taxis if you're not driving . The downside - the pictures on VRBO are really deceiving, as the house is literally on a 2 lane road which we were not at all expecting. It was really nice overall but if you are looking for somewhere more secluded or quiet I would not stay here, and I would suggest to the owner to make the actual house location more clear. Our communication with the owner was also not great. I tried to contact her multiple times in the week leading up to our stay regarding check in process and simply received no response until I called VRBO themselves who also could not contact her. We did not hear back from her until the day before check in. As the owner of a VRBO rental house we always provide our guests with quick responses and help with recommendations of what to do in the area so I would suggest that to this homeowner.

The house is a step back in time. You feel like you're living a simpler life staying at the farmhouse, yet all the modern conveniences are there. The group of eight of us had plenty of room for the weekend. We spent most of our time enjoying the yard, the deck and of course the river. It's a bit rocky, but once you're on a float with a drink in your hand, it won't matter. Easy check in and check out and Glenda was a great communicator. Next time we're up around the Lake George area, I'll stay at the Farmhouse again.

There's a nice sized yard, plenty of parking, the barn is fun and the house is ample for a big group

We had a lovely weekend at the Waterfront Farmhouse. There was plenty of room, however, it is indicated online that there is a bedroom with a double bed and single bed, but no such room existed. The deck overlooking the water was absolutely amazing and we spent all day out there. I would recommend this house!
