I treated my son who had disabilities to a weekend here for his 18th birthday, 4 of his friends also joined us. We had a wonderful time, the house was easy for him to walk around and had a large shower that we could put a shower stool in. The house is clean and very well presented. The kitchen is very well equipped. There were plenty of logs, kindling and matches. The house is super warm. There were cleaning products and a great welcome pack. I would love to return again to celebrate another occasion. We could only be a party of six but the place is ideal for large parties. Would highly recommend. We had such a fantastic week at Lumsdale House with my family and my parents.

We had such a fantastic week at Lumsdale House with my family and my parents. Beautiful grounds and so much space in the house! The welcome pack was a bonus too. Great base for exploring the Derbyshire Dales. What stops this being a truly excellent holiday home was a that the kitchen could be so much better equipped and the inside furniture is uncomfortable. Maybe it is Covid precautions but it's a shame because it wouldn't take much to restore to former glory! It didn't stop us having a really memorable holiday.
