Shower room: With shower cubicle and toilet (Jack and Jill with bedroom 3).. Oil central heating (£30 per week Sept-May, summertime by arrangement), gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair. Enclosed garden with patio and garden furniture. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There are 2 steps in the garden.. This charming ’chocolate box’ thatched, detached holiday cottage is situated in the heart of the coastal village of Winterton-on-Sea. It has been tastefully decorated and furnished. The cottage has exposed beams throughout and offers a welcoming holiday break whatever the season. Set in a quiet crescent just 55 yards from the village pub, renowned for its food. It is just a short stroll to the sandy beach and dunes nature reserve offering miles of peaceful walks. View the local seal colony or enjoy bird watching and walking. Great Yarmouth is 9 miles away for the traditional seaside attractions and the Norfolk Broads is 6 miles away for boat hire, fishing and sailing. For children, BeWILDerwood at Horning offers an outdoor tree house adventure with zip wires, jungle bridges, marsh walks and boat trips which all add up to a great day out, or alternatively spend a day in the fine city of Norwich with its cathedrals, Castle Museum and array of shops. Horsey Mill (National Trust) is also to be found locally and worth a visit. There is a free pass for four cars which allows parking on the Winterton Beach car park. Shop 200 yards, pub and restaurant 55 yards. Free WiFi There are low doorways throughout. Winter fuel supplement of oil central heating, £30 per week payable Sept - May, (summertime by arrangement) on arrival. There are steps within the property.

What a lovely spotless cottage - great space inside and brill for the dog ( she was given her own blanket!) cafe on beach is perfect and pub across the way is pretty good for food. All in all chilled and relaxing holiday .. thanks Jan for thinking about all your guests including the four legged variety 😁..

A lovely very well equipped cottage in a great location. The pub is a one minute stroll way with the superb beach and the Norfolk coastal pathway only 5 minutes walk. Also benefits from a complimentary parking space in the beach car park which is handy when you have a load of beach paraphernalia. We had a fantastic time at Starboard cottage. The location is perfect. The house immaculate and the locals friendly. The beach is clean and there are plenty of walks for the dogs. We will go again.
