We loved our stay in this comfortable family home. We were with another family. The kitchen was well stocked. The deck was so nice to sit out, eat cheese , drink wine and listen to the cows and look at the wonderful views. It was an easy 20/25 minutes drive to the start of the Cares de Ruta hike. We also enjoyed the games and a puzzle on a very rainy day.
This time of year, October, it seemed like some restaurants in town were closed. Obviously not the fault of this place but perhaps worth noting.
The drive into the place is steep as others noted but totally doable. However we are glad we arrived in daytime to find the place as it’s a bit tricky.

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal an diesem wunderbaren Ort. Alles ist mit Liebe eingerichtet, das Haus toll, die Ausblicke sind wunderschön, die Lage perfekt für Wanderungen und die Gastgeberin zugewandt und entspannt. Einfach herrlich!

Beautiful house in a stunning landscape. Only the sound of cowbells, birdsong and the wind in the trees. Very clean and comfortable, with everything you could need. We watched the World Cup final with the villagers in the square on a very special evening. We also had two days of the annual fiesta with much dancing, eating, drinking and laughter. We canoed a full day down the Sella, went jet skiing at Riano, walked the dogs over to the next village for a beer and enjoyed the tranquility of the Cabrales valley and it’s spectacular surroundings. A brilliant two weeks and couldn’t fault anything except having to leave.
