Scenic setting with train station conveniently close by. Information shared by host was most helpful.
The second bedroom, great for kids but not ideal for adults.

We stayed in apartment Grünsee which was fully furnished, clean and spacious.
The kitchen and dining area was well-equipped for every cooking scenario; there was a cheese fondue pot and even a rice cooker!
The bathroom had a washing machine + dryer combo and the host also provided laundry detergent. Beds were comfy after days high up in the mountains.
Very conveniently located near Grindelwald Terminal and easy to get to. Instructions for check-in and check-out were simple and clear.
The welcome pack provided information on local supermarkets, activities and a visitor card. It is clear the host has put a lot of thought into creating a wonderful space for visitors. Would recommend!

A luxurious Swiss chalet, very well maintained. Lots of facilities and equipments and crockeries.
Views of snow covered mountains.

Only stairs, no lift.
10-15 mins walking from Grindelwald Terminal station.
If you book the top floor like we did, the hight of ceilings of the 2 sleeping area other than the main bedroom is low and you need to careful. Perhaps a typical Chalet characteristic but we were not used to it

The location was amazing, nice cafe Bar Grill across the bridge with decent price, we enjoyed the free bikes. Living room space was good.
We felt a little misled by the apartment we were given, 'Wetterhorn,' which was on the second floor. As two couples, each with a child, the layout presented a significant issue. There was only one proper bedroom. The second room, while it had a double bed and a TV, had such a low slanting roof that you couldn't even sit up in bed; you had to lie down.
This was the only disappointing aspect. We had expected two proper bedrooms, as two couples require adequate wardrobe space in each room, an area to change clothes, and sufficient space to store personal belongings, without having to contend for the 'better' room.
This apartment is definitely not suitable for two couples, but would be more appropriate for one family with two or three children.
