This home has unbelievable views. There is a large upper deck off the kitchen/dining room with picnic table, chairs and a grill. Great spot to have coffee and watch the sun rise, if you’re an early bird. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well-equipped. I don’t think we used the tv our entire stay! Down the road is a boat dock where we put in our kayaks, fished and crabbed. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, easy to walk or bike ride. Only about 5 minutes to Assateague and we spotted many horses and other wild life on our daily rides. There were some cleanliness issues and we didn’t realize we needed to bring our own bed sheets/towels, but they were easily picked up at Walmart. We cooked many meals in the kitchen and it was a great money saver having that ability and with so many tools at the ready. We are looking forward to going back next year! Owner is quick to respond to any questions or issues.

The property was 100% as advertised. The property owner was very informative and polite. The house was clean, quiet, and has a beautiful view of the bay. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking to stay in the area.

We love the location and neighborhood of this house. We were able to see horses across the water using binoculars. There were many waterfowl and beautiful sunrises. The view is outstanding. The neighborhood is residential and quiet.
The house had some quirks. We were greeted by a kitchen full of flies. Possibly someone before us had the door open. We also noticed other undesirable bugs and traps. Also, the water is hard and turned some of our whites brown during washing.
Other minor issues: tub doesn’t hold water (plug doesn’t work), handle on outside door was broken until we fixed, bar stools are broken, cleaning was not thorough (old food wrappers under beds, etc).
I enjoyed the collection of Chesapeake-related history as well as the decor on the walls related to the Chesapeake region.
The owner was very communicative and responsive. I left a computer charger at the house by accident, and she said she would ship it back. I appreciate this kindness as well as the owner opening up the house to us as visitors.
Overall despite the quirks we had a great vacation at the house. Thank you!
