Nestled in Lihue, this charming condo for $235 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. This ground floor 2 bedroom, 2 full bathrooms is a great value! Recently renovated kitchen and bathrooms with new cabinets, granite counters, walk in shower in Master, tile flooring throughout. New furniture master bedroom, new mattresses in both bedrooms, 2 lanais: off the living room and bedroom. Stay in and enjoy your own prepared meals in the efficient and fully stocked kitchen kitchen or you can take a short 2 minute walk and be served at the many restaurants that are right down the street! Enjoy the amenities at Banyan Harbor: Heated salt water swimming pool with ocean view, tennis/pickleball court, shuffleboard, BBQ pavilion, and activities desk. This condo has a level entry so groceries, suitcases, and all your bags of souvenirs do not have to be hauled up and down stairs! There is free parking in unmarked stalls. Fodors has this to say about Kalapaki Bay which is across the street: KALAPAKI BEACH REVIEW Five minutes south of the airport in Lihue, you'll find this wide, sandy-bottom beach fronting the Kauai Marriott. This beach is almost always safe from rip currents and undertows because it's around the backside of a peninsula, in its own cove. There are tons of activities here, including all the usual water sports—beginning and intermediate surfing, bodyboarding, bodysurfing, and swimming—plus, there are two outrigger canoe clubs paddling in the bay and the Nawiliwili Yacht Club's boats sailing around the harbor. Kalapaki is the only place on Kauai where sailboats—in this case Hobie Cats—are available for rent (at Kauai Beach Boys, which fronts the beach next to Duke's Canoe Club restaurant). Visitors can also rent snorkel gear, surfboards, bodyboards, and kayaks from Kauai Beach Boys. A volleyball court on the beach is often used by a loosely organized group of local players; visitors are always welcome. Families prefer the stream end of the beach, whereas those seeking more solitude will prefer the cliff side of the beach. Duke's Canoe Club restaurant is one of only a couple of restaurants on the island actually on a beach; the restaurant's lower level is casual, even welcoming beach attire and sandy feet, perfect for lunch or an afternoon cocktail. This condo is located next to great shopping and LiLikoi just down the road had excellent food. The condo is clean supplied with necessities to get started with a grocery store located about a mile away to pick up other food items need for the visit. The beach is only a 5 minute walk that we hit daily. The wagon their made it easy to lug our stuff down.
Diane was super easy to work with on booking and changes we made. She has a binder with fun activities with contact information. We liked that for all excursions we went to the longest was 30 minutes with the rest being 10-15 minutes with the airport only 5 minutes away.
The only thing we would have liked better was newer cooking pots and pans.

I took my 12yo son to a week long vacation trip right after New Year holidays. We had a perfect time and returned home refreshed and full of energy. The condo is clean, well equipped and comfortable, has a nice backyard. Walking access to beach, convenientce store, food restaurants. Diane is a great host showing true care about her guests. We hope to visit Kauai and stay there again some day.

We had a very enjoyable stay. We had every thing we needed to be comfortable for the week. It was so nice to be able to eat in when needed and the pool was a plus with a great view. This was a pretty central location for us and we were able to visit most of the island. The chickens were entertaining as well.

Th unit is Clean, neat & full of kitchen stuffs like cookwares, utensils, seasoning, napkins, towel paper… There are beach towels, coolers, mosquitoes repellent & beach toys just like mentioned on the website.
The owner, Diane, was very responsive, providing us detail of checking in & out. She was also very flexible on checking in & out time.
The backyard of the unit is spectacular with the forest view. We enjoyed sitting outside in the balcony in the evening, so peaceful & beautiful.
Would definitely recommend Diane’s unit with friends & family.

We loved the location to explore all parts of the island. We quickly felt at home in the condo and anything we needed was nearby. Highly recommend this condo. It comes with pet roosters to enjoy each time you sit on the lanai.

Pros: Unit was clean and had lots of things to take to beach. Easy to get to from airport with beach across the way. Diane was easy to communicate with
Con: really only negative was the people above seemed to stomp late at night and in the morning. But that can happen anywhere.
Location was great and we felt very competitively priced.

This unit has had some nice upgrades e.g. granite countertops, kitchen and bathroom cabinets, kitchenware, vacuum, newer washer/dryer. Well stocked with extra paper products and cleaning supplies as well as books, games, snorkeling equipment, beach chairs and umbrella. Beds were comfortable. Not the Ritz, but great value!! Diane was a super host.

This condo is in a great location, close to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. If you’re driving you can go in either direction for great sight seeing and activities.
The place is clean and bathrooms and kitchen have been nicely updated.
There is some traffic noise and of course the chickens. The only bad thing I can say is that the upstairs neighbor isn’t very thoughtful that there are people below.
Would I stay here again? Yes; for the price you probably won’t find a better location.

We enjoyed our month stay here very much. It was the most relaxed vacation we've ever been on. The central location is perfect for day trips exploring what Kauai has to offer. The nearby beach is ideal. The beds were very comfortable. You can hear the roosters, but we found them charming. We would love to stay here again! Mahalo!

Great location and all the needed amenities. We may be different than a lot of people given the reviews but we found the beds very uncomfortable (far too hard) and the couch very uncomfortable as well. The upstairs neighbors were very loud waking us up many times. It's a great base with the necessary items but if you want to spend any time just relaxing in the unit, it might not be for you.

On-site check in was a breeze. The condo and complex were both pristine. We cooked in often and took picnic lunches on our adventures. The condo had everything we needed. The many fans, ceiling and portable, circulate the air conditioning nicely. We enjoyed the Hawaiian prints and decor. Fresh tropical flowers when we arrived were delightful. The condo has a peaceful garden view including a resident rooster. Diane’s tip to park in the upper parking lot was a great suggestion and it was only a few steps down to the condo. The location is great for seeing the whole island. Easy day trips everywhere. We do recommend Lydgate Beach for a calm beach experience.
Diane worked with us to add a half day to our vacation to accommodate a very late night flight which was greatly appreciated!

Friendly community. Really liked "living" in the condo over any sort of resort or hotel.
Diane was great to text back and take care of any little thing. There was only one and it was minor.
Will hope to stay here again. I like dealing with the known not the un known. I really had no surprised other than how nicely remodeled the place was. Very comfortable for both myself and my wife. Ground floor was a must and we got to park right in front of our door.

This vacation rental did no disappoint our expectations at all. We really enjoyed the location.
We just returned from 10 days in Kauai at the Banyon Harbour. We were really pleased with the location and all the amenities that the condo had. Diane the owner is very accomodating and is easy to work and communicate with.
Loved the pool, the barbeque area, the office had lots of info on tours and everything very close to Harbour Mall where you can pick up things at ABC Store ,5 mins from Costco and the other mall for shopping. Kalapaki beach was in walking distance. Loved the beach amenities in the condo to use. Saves buying and hauling stuff from home.
Will be returning some day for sure.

Can’t beat the location....
Place was clean and quiet. Diane was quick to respond to any inquiry. The walls are a little thin as these units are dated. But for the price you really can’t beat this location. The North Shore and Waimea Canyon are equidistant from this condo. Grill was nice and close to the Apartment also. Highly recommend this place

A peaceful gem in an excellent location
What a delightful condo! Clean and well furnished and equipped with items that I was not even expecting (such as an ample amount of body wash - showers while on the island were more than once daily due to the beach sand and the humidity outside). It was awesome to have towels and beach supplies here waiting as well. The common area AC unit did an excellent job of keeping the whole condo at a comfortable temperature. The views from the complex pool were lovely and the very short walk over to the beach was perfect. Loved being right by the Kalapaki Beach Hut- the breakfast sandwich with Portuguese sausage was amazing! As was their coffee. The location was perfect for being able to explore all areas of the island - drives to either opposite ends never totaled more than fifty minutes. Would most definitely recommend this condo to any visiting Kauai - especially those that live in locations similar to myself - suburban to urban. Cheers to the owner for having such a lovely well done home. I hope to stay here again in the future.

Clean and a great base for accessing all shores
Our party included mom, dad, baby/toddler, and grandma. We were able to utilize kitchen gear to cook when we needed and still drive 20 minutes to Poi’pu if we wanted to dine out. There was plenty of space for our pack and play, and bathrooms for everyone.
The washer and dryer was instrumental in us being able to bring fewer clothes. (I would have traded my extra sneakers for a rash guard!) Check in with Kiki the concierge before you head out or book an expensive adventure. She was able to guide us to a helicopter ride that suited our desires and booked it for us (with a discount). She lent us a bunch of great gear to use at the beach.
I would rate this space 15/10, will DEFINITELY try to stay again next time we come to Kauai!

Nice, Simple, Easy
Experience was nice. Has the things you need so you don't have to live the hotel life. Easy access to many points of interest, and close to the airport. I do wish there would have been some beach chairs/umbrella, but maybe that is just difficult for rentals. Was easy to communicate with the owner for any questions we had.

Great place to stay on Kauai
We were very happy with this accommodation. Diane was easy to communicate with and the property was perfect for us, very central making it easy for us to head up to the north shore on two days and to the canyon area on another two days. There is a great beach across the road as part of a flashy resort with some excellent restaurants and little shops. There is a very nice pool area as part of the condo complex with very clean bbq's to use. Thank you, Diane, for an excellent stay in Kauai.

Best value on the island!
Very nice condo. Good location to travel to either end of island. Very close to airport. No ocean view but very easy walk to beach and restaurants. ABC store also within walking distance. Grill is a few steps away. The swimming pool area is nice. All the extras in the condo like beach chairs, coolers, snorkel equipment are great. Also very helpful information book along with guide books. Hope to return someday!
