About this apartment rental
Sit on the deck and enjoy long range panoramic mountain views and a spectacular view of Grandfather Mountain from this centrally located condo on Seven Devils. This one bedroom + loft bedroom with ladder style steps condo provides easy access to zip lining, skiing, snow tubing, hiking and shopping. Please note minimum age of any child is 12 years old. Accommodations include a queen bed in the master bedroom and a full bed in the loft bedroom. Unlike most of the condos in the High Country our condo has air conditioning. A gas fireplace provides a cozy atmosphere during cold weather. We are centrally located between Boone, Banner Elk, Blowing Rock, Grandfather Mountain and Linville. Appalachian State University is less than 20 minutes away, so book a stay with a view for those home football games. Enjoy skiing at Beech, Sugar Mountain and Appalachian Ski Mountain in Boone. Tweetsie Railroad is about 20 minutes away as well as shopping in Blowing Rock. Otter Falls is just around the corner which offers at nice hike down to the falls. A little over a mile up the road is Hawks Nest Ziplining and Snow Tubing. There are lots of other hikes around the area including Linville Falls (about 25 minutes away) and the Profile Trail of Grandfather Mountain which is several miles down Hwy 105 towards Banner Elk. Be sure to relax by a mountain brook at Grandfather Vineyard & Winery about half a mile on 105 towards Boone after you leave Seven Devils. You also don't want to miss out on the eclectic merchandise at the Mast General Store in nearby Valle Crucis.

Wonderful stay. Loved the nighttime views of the stars. Very quiet and accessible.

Very clean and cozy. Fast communication. Great view. Comfy bed. Has all you need (except coffee, salt or pepper - bring your own). Had Netflix which was a bonus for a late night movie! Great for a couple or for three (not little children as their bed is up steep steps). Nice area. The Pedalin Pig nearby is excellent BBQ. Downtown Boone, The Mast Store, hikes, Otter Falls (a short but strenuous hike), …lots to see and do. Great sunrise view, can’t really see sunset too well due to mountain being in the way, so drive to a spot where you can watch it. Would come back again.

Would definitely recommend. If you're looking for a lowkey place that is cozy and minimal, this is perfect. The decor has a lot of character and I appreciated that. Very quiet neighborhood too.

My husband and I loved the overall location of the property. We could get anywhere we were looking to go and explore. The condo was very nice and had everything that we needed for a great stay. The bed was extremely comfortable. We had trouble one day with the internet and the host very quickly came and fixed it for us and followed up to make sure we had internet/tv again. The balcony was the perfect place at night to go outside and look at the stars and watch for shooting stars. In the morning watching the sunrise wake up grandfather was perfection. We would definitely book a stay here again.

Fantastic views
Property owner was prompt in helping us get in the condo even very late at night as the code did not work. Views are incredible. Very peaceful and quiet and close to Boone, Blowing Rock and Banner Elk.

There were plenty of towels, toilet paper rolls, dish ware, you name it. One of the best parts is how close it is to basically everything!! My partner and I already decided the next time we come back to Boone, we’re staying here. I recommend this place ten times over!

This place was perfect! A clean place, beautifully decorated, and incredible views. We were little kids discovering the nooks and crannies in the home! The Perfect place to stay if you are trying to hike Grandfather Mountain or enjoy Otter Falls Trail. not too far from Boone and surrounding towns, you wont run out of things to do.
The host was amazing as well and answered any of my questions right away. 10/10!

Clean, quiet, and amazing views. The only thing I would change is that I wish there were more towels/washcloths instead of just one per person for the entire stay.

My wife and I had a great time staying here. The location and views lived up to the hype. The owner was very quick to respond to any messages and was always available to help. The phrase that my wife and I continuously said during our stay was “what a cozy place”. We will be staying here again in the future.

Not bad, but could use a few improvements.
Primary dislike was a musty smell that was there when checked in and never left. We lit candles but it did not go away. Also had poor lighting and heat was difficult to understand. View however was magnificent and location was great for all of our excursions. Overall, price was right and value was acceptable.

Good location and view
The condo was accurately described in online description. The view was nice. AC system is not adequate to sufficiently cool bdrm and loft. TV cable did not seem to operate properly.

Cute Condo With a Great View!
My husband and I spent 3 nights in John's condo and would definitely like to come back. The condo is comfortable and had everything we needed. We did lots of hiking off the Blue Ridge Parkway and found the location to be great for all that we did. We had a GREAT meal in Valle Crucis at "Over Yonder" and loved "Bella's" in Banner Elk for Italian. Both restaurants were fairly close. We have never stayed in or near Seven Devils but really liked the location. We enjoyed many beautiful vistas in our hikes, but watching the sun rise over the mountains from the condo balcony was one of the best views we had! As a side note - the condo's air conditioning cools the living area very nicely, but the bedroom didn't cool down as much due to the warm temps while we were there. We were grateful for the extra fans in the bedroom which worked well to help cool things down for sleeping. I hope to come back to see that view with the fall foliage soon!

The balcony has an amazing view. Condo is exactly as described and as appears in all the photos. Kitchen is well-equipped and owners were very responsive.

Beautiful location
This property was easy to get to, very comfortable inside, and has a beautiful view off of the balcony/deck. My only complaint is that the apartment had a strong smell as though it hadn't ventilated for quite some time, but we managed to resolve that by opening the large sliding glass door and turning on the AC. Overall, highly recommend!

Very nice condo with beautiful view!
Perfect place for my wife and I to stay for our hike on profile trail to grandfather mountain. Condo is close enough to everything...restaurants, trails, etc. It is clean, quiet, and has beautiful view of mountains!! would definitely stay here again.. thanks!

Mountain Views
Very nice accommodations. Very relaxing. Bed was heavenly. Only suggestion is consider replacing table stools. The existing ones are uncomfortable. The stools are the only reason we did not rate our stay five stars. Otherwise, everything was perfect. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful place, would love to stay again. Spectacular views, and short travel times to many sightseeing destinations including Boone, Blowing Rock, and Grandfather Mountain.

Comforting
I felt right at home staying at Seven Devils. Perfect location in between all the tourist sites and activities. Perfect view from the top of the mountain. Will recommend this condo to others, and will keep this in my favorites for future visits to the area!
