About this house rental
Nestled in Interlochen, this attractive house for $170 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Our Fashion Avenue home is walking Distance to Interlochen Center for the Arts, Interlochen library, Green Lake, and Duck Lake State Park. Our home is on a large corner lot. The living space is combined with kitchen and dining allowing for family gathering. The two bedrooms, 1 Queen, and 1 Full bed, and a sleeper sofa (linens are supplied). Cozy living room and TV with Charter cable connection and Wi-Fi for your entertainment. One bathroom which has whirlpool tub/shower combination. The laundry area has a washer and a dryer, iron and ironing board. Our Kitchen has an electric stove/ oven with warming tray, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator, and a dining table and many other updates. Outside living area has a fenced in back yard, gas grill, seating area on the deck and a fire pit. We are 11 miles from Traverse City which is home to the National Cherry Festival, numerous Wine Country events, shopping and dining, Traverse City Film Festival, etc. There is always something happening in the Traverse City area. Of course, hunting, fishing, boating, skiing, and sight-seeing plus other activities are all close (10-20 mins) from our location. Pets are allowed with advance approval. No smoking please. Instead of gifts at Christmas we spent family time making memories at this Perfect cottage. God blessed us with the real meaning of CHRISTmas. It was a magical cottage. Everything you can imagine and more. Added bonus our fur babies were welcome and they had a great time. WE WILL BE BACK.

We'd stayed at this property while visiting Interlochen and touring northwest Michigan. The house is on a corner lot with a fenced back yard which was convenient. The check-process was easy and the host was responsive during our stay. The interior of the house was very clean. The house has 3 floor air conditioners but their water collectors have to be manually emptied. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the convenience of the location, except for an incident that happened the last night. At about 1:30 AM someone started banging on our front door. We had no idea who it was. It woke us up and un-nerved us to say the least. Beyond that the rest of our stay was fine and uneventful.

So nice to find a property that allows dogs! Location was perfect as it was close to other wedding guests who were staying around the corner and close to our venue, BlueBridge. Mary was very responsive to questions and flexible when we had to change who in our party was staying at the property. Highly recommend!

We stayed here for a weekend of skiing at Crystal Mountain, and it was perfect for us. The house was clean and well appointed. The location was great - 25 mins to Crystal Mountain and 25 mins to Traverse City. We would love to stay again next time we come up to Michigan!

We enjoyed our stay here. It was very comfortable and had a homey feeling. We enjoyed a fire in the fire pit….and we made use of the grill, as well. The kitchen was very nicely stocked with plenty of dishes, silverware, etc.

We absolutely loved this house,it's property and the location. We stayed during a 3 day snow storm so we spent the majority of our time in the house and yet we weren't bummed out. It was immaculately clean, warm and cozy.....felt like home. 🏡 ❤ Next time we're going to plan a warmer weather trip so we can utilize the fenced in back yard for our doggy and be able to grill,use the fire pit,etc. Plus there's all kinds of things to do in the area.....it's beautiful here whether you're inside the house, outside of the property or venturing off! Can't recommend it enough!

Loved this house! Very Comphy!! Nice back yard with bbq and a fire pit. Corner lot, fenced in for pet. Feels like home. Nice neighborhood, walking distance to Steakhouse and corner store. Very friendly people. Not too far from Wineries and Casino.
Mary was sweeping the porch when we arrived. She was very very pleasant, opened the back door for us. With a very welcome smile.

So nice to find a home to re-enjoy everytime you visit a certain area. This Interlochen property is cozy, neat-as-a-pin and always feels like you are home. Even able to bring your pet which makes it so much easier to travel. Will be back many more times!!

Our family would definitely rate this place as one of our favorite VRBOs. The kitchen was stocked with everything from a slow cooker to dog bowls!! The house was so clean & cute, we enjoyed the backyard from sitting on the patio watching our dog play catch to doing yoga on the patio under the morning sun. The communication throughout the entire process was great. We enjoyed playing the singing card game and reading & leaving a note in the rental journal. Great location - we enjoyed Frankfort & traverse City during our weekend stay. I look forward to future stays!
